Someone wanna gimme some input on the OP? I just got word from Mister Folader that the 360thread was a mess lol so what can I do to fix it?

VERY open to suggestions.
Basically: What should I do with those links? This process worked for about 2 weeks.

I vote for doing nothing with links. I'd make it an informative OP with information on the offers, which will hopefully alleviate many of the redundant questions that get asked in here.

Then, if people are still needing referrals, have them put a link in their sigs or something.

That's how I think it should work.

Have you checked the OP out? I did update it today. Besides the links being there--do you think the Q&A covers most?

:lol: I hadn't looked. I thought you (and Foladar) were making a new thread.

Looks pretty good. I'm assuming a support ticket is the same as filing an email? Because the two times I submitted an MCR, I merely emailed them asking about it, rather than filling anything out. They usually get back in a day or two and were extremely friendly.
 
I just figured perhaps a third thread with the thread filled out with that Q&A plus perhaps having the conga running so the rotations can occur, I don't know how the rotations are happening currently but I know it was sitting for several weeks for awhile.

Asking what game to get isn't a big deal, lol so yes you can ask that.

It's still processing, but I'd imagine it'll ship on launch or shortly after.
I'd say go for Halo 3. There's other ways to get 12 months of XBL for cheap/free (check out my referral thread and sign up for gaming lagoon!)

Next time you ask questions like that--just try and re-word them better.

All I'm going to say is this: With an offer like AtHomeRewards you have 7 days to try out their service. If you no longer wish to continue to use the service, you would want to cancel before 7 days are up.

It wouldn't hurt to try the service for say.. 5 or 6 days before you make a decision on what you want to do...Get me? ;)
 
I wouldn't mess with the referral links too much. When I came in the thread, I chose to use one of those links. That person must be happy that I joined them. No matter how slow it goes, it works to some extent. It's fine.

The issue I personally have with it is if the people do not report having gone green and just leave it there, and there are people who don't care to report having signed up under those links, giving the people free referrals.

That's the thing though. How many people actually had their links taken out after getting referrals? I'd be willing to bet many didn't say anything.

If anything, I'd say if the links were kept up there, any people that use them should PM lilboo with which link they signed up with. That could then help keep some sort of record (granted, they might not complete an offer).

But then, how many people are actually going to PM lilboo?

And even that won't solve everything, as they actually have to go green for the person, not just sign up (I still have 4 people that signed up but never greened referred). I guess it's all on the honor system, if you get referrals, PM lilboo to take your name off (that's what I did when my link was in the list). There's really no definitive solution.
 
Yeah that was my biggest complaint / issue with the current links, without names there, lilboo can't exactly send PMs asking if they've gotten greens and users aren't PMing lilboo stating they signed up under user X and have gone green, and thus giving their ref link to lilboo aswell.
 
That's the thing--people WERE signing up because when I first started this.. I was getting like 10pms a day "CAN U ADD MY LINK?"..so clearly all these people HAD to sign up from someone.

I think I remember taking away 5, 6 people (including myself) off of here.
If we can find a more civil, organized way..I'd go for it lol :)

I already sent information on who referred me and the fact that I received something shows that I must've gone green. I suppose that's the advantage of speaking in the topic.

Perhaps we need to do a reporting type system. Every 7 days, a person must give a screenshot of their referral statuses to prove if they have or have not received referrals. A lack of compilance may mean that they're trying to fake out, and should be removed. The problem is the fact of photoshop and trickery in the screenshots...
 
I just ordered up Halo 3, ship date is 9/22. I think they are just putting the ship date to one week in advance since they did that with my NHL 08 order earlier this week. Hope they ship out NHL 08 earlier than that. As for Halo 3, I hope I get it around the release date. Guess we will see...
 
so i got impatient and did another offer on my own since blockbuster was taking forever...finally got the completed and now i'm submitted for review :( this is only my 2nd game :(

I'm spending the night over a friend's house..and I got him to sign up for this..lol he's letting me use his CC/Info too.. woo hoo! And anything that I spend (that doesn't get refunded) I owe him.

Luckily At Home Rewards, PrivacyMatters, and Simply you are all $1 each that get refunded. That's a game and 1/2! :D

This is exciting! I advise everyone to make their friends do this..:rofl:
BTW I am not breaking ANY ToS because:
This is HIS house/PC, so it's a differernt IP address
The account is in HIS name/Adress
The offers being done are all HIS info.

I'm just the one who is sitting here filling it out.. lol :D

I almost did it. I was under the impression that it was going to be a few dollars for a kit/cd or whatever..but after I read the ToS it said when it hit submit I would be charged $45..for the access or something like that. I decided not to it because If I didn't like the service, I didn't want to be out $45.

Messenger wouldn't be worth it, you've got a headset to send voice messages, and you're usually gaming too much to send messages through Windows messenger. If you want points, go for the 4000 or something.

Takes about an hour for you to receive the email.
 
I only did Spiderman. There really isn't anything else I want on that list..I really do hope they add Guitar Hero 3! I'd get that in a hot minute!
 
Can you complete offers while your account is being submitted for review? It won't interfere or slow down the process at all will it?

Thanks for the info on those offers. I got 2 more offers completed in no time. I'd like to get a game, but I'd rather get Guitar Hero III if they ever add it... Yeah, I should make my friends sign up like you did too. Then everyone wins!

How longafter you place the order does it usually ship out? What day do they ship out now? I've heard Wednesday but I'm not sure...

Recently they moved the shipdate to Tuesday Nights [EST].

my 1st guitar hero 2 bundle shipped september 5th (have a 2nd gh2 bundle coming aswell along with halo 3) but still hasnt arrived..is this normal to take that long? hopefully it comes tomorrow.
