Free Sword from King of Swords

The guy emailed me back and said that I never sent a thing, when I have the automated response in my inbox and the sent message in my sent folder, I told the guy back.. and no reply for like 3 hours.
 
Sounds like he offered more than he could deliver...

I wonder how many new blogs with no previous entries sprung up from this deal?

I emailed his support saying that I just sent another one. He said that he got it but I haven't gotten a reply since then.
 
They probably only had about 50 swords to give away or something. I mean he would have to give away the whole store in order to fulfill the contest entries. As mentioned before, at least some people got some.

I'd love to buy one of the signed Kill Bill swords. Those things look beautiful.

As for the free sword, I got the automated response on the 23rd, and still no shipping confirmation. I'll wait until tomorrow to send an e-mail.
 
I sent my email on the 23rd and today I received an email saying that my sword has shipped. Also I used my gametrailers blog, so if you used that for your blog it's apparently acceptable.

I read that, but the guy said I didn't even submit an entry (bullshit) and then I asked if I should just wait or send another one, and haven't gotten a reply for 10 hours.

If he didn't get it then there is nothing wrong in sending another one.

I entered my Blog Post on the 23rd and got the automated reply saying that I should be recieving confirmation within 72 hours and since then 72 hours have passed, should I email him or wait a few more days?

I sent my entry on Friday, and got the shipping confirmation eMail yesterday. The site says 3 pounds, as usual. I should expect it in a few days, tomorrow at least.

It took me four days, but I don't really care.

so I got an email notification that fed ex delivered my sword this morning, to my amusement this it what I saw when I opened the box... a Cloud Buster Sword, figures why my package weighed 6 lbs rather than 3 lbs :)

Pretty nice sword, heavy when trying to swing with one hand but no problem with two hands. Pardon my camera skills, got a blurry pic on the second picture.

[/quote] That is awesome. Mine says 4 pounds. So 2.9 or 3 pounds is the sword that was posted on page 3. 6 pounds is the buster sword. Has someone gotten their 4 pounder yet?
 
I bet the 4 pounder is a Samurai sword because they tend to be longer and heavier. Also that would make sense that they were giving away a Ninja Sword, a Samurai Sword and a Fantasy Sword.

I am really hoping I get the Ninja sword but I still haven't gotten my shipping confirm yet.

Tried tossing the fruits in the air and swing at them with the sword but I missed everytime, harder to swing than I thought. So I just settled with dropping the fruit onto the blade from over my head. Was sharp enough to cut through the softer banana but not sharp enough to do much damage to the harder orange. The sword is pretty much just for looks, unless you sharpen it of course.
