Free Xbox 360 Games (from Trainn...who is updating slowly)

I'm finally trying to get back into this after an immense delay. I know people hate this question, but what's legit currently? The OP is a bit scarce.

Savings Circle is $5 and when you cancel online, you're refunded. Its a 30 day trial.

Own Acne is ~$7-8. I believe you can cancel online through the site (when i did it, i sent an e-mail). I don't remember how long the trial is, i think 30 days though.

Gamefly, Netflix, and eMusic are all good/easy, but since you're getting back in to it, you've probably already done those.

Awesome, exactly what I was looking for as a starting point. I actually never got eMusic to work so I may have to give that another whirl.

Are the credit ones duplicates or old ones or entirely new? Also, what do these bidding sites usually run you?

I look forward to any other recommendations. And sorry if I seem like a bum, but I did check the OP. Hell, my name should still be in there as a contributor haha.

Are any on these book ones worthwhile? I'm overwhelmed lol.

I clicked through Arrow Outlet to check it out because it said "bid packs as low as $0.35." The way its broken down the bids ARE $0.35, but the smallest bid pack they have is $19.99. That's more than I ever want to pay for any of these offers. I assume the other auction offers are similar.

I've completed a few book club offers in the past and they went through just fine. Expect to pay double what the trial is because you're going to have to return the product.

I would caution regarding Children's Book of the Month Club. I clicked through to check into that one recently, but didn't complete the registration because with shipping it was $19.95. My credit card was charged regardless and I'm currently disputing the charges.

Ah, weak. Thanks for the info. So aside from the two recommended and the obvious easy ones, is there really anything I can do?

Oh, I signed up for the 2 recommended and didn't get credit yet. What's the normal wait time on Own Acne and Savings Circle?

Has anybody received Dead Island from Trainn? That game seems to be difficult to find for some reason, and even Amazon lists it as "shipping in 2-3 weeks". I'm hoping that's what's taking Trainn so long to mark it as "shipped"...though I don't know why they couldn't just order it and basically reserve my "place in line".

I recently signed up a buddy of mine as a referral and it took roughly 6 hours for those two to go through and credit. However, when I did Own Acne about a month ago, it took 4-5 days.

eMusic is $12, but you can cancel painlessly online. Also, they have a decent selection of music you can get while a member before quitting.

Just to update u guys on my gears of war 3 controller, TRAINN just answered my ticket after 3 weeks. They stated "I am sorry to hear your controller has not yet arrived. Please allow me to check into the details of your order further and we will contact you via this ticket momentarily with additional information." So my question is, do they reopen a closed ticket or should I respond to the ticket and reopen it? Im also hoping they dont tell me someone in my building stole it cause then i have to smash some heads in... Thanks for listening....

They almost always send that same generic message when they (more than likely) never ordered the item for you. I have a strong feeling it wasn't stolen, but, was surely never ordered.

I don't think I've ever seen them re-open a ticket once closed. You'll likely have to pester them again wth the new one when you want another update.

still waiting on mine aswell..got the shipped email about 2 weeks ago and sent a ticket like 5 days ago asking about it. still nothing...

It's been 10 days and my NHL 12 is still in processing mode. Though, I ordered it at 11pm, so it's really been more like 9 days. I'm planning on returning it to Amazon then putting that credit plus my Gears 3 $20 credit towards MW3 hardened, so I'm not in a big rush. But I'd like it to ship soon :)

Did Identity IQ and got quick credit. Ordered Deus Ex because I didnt feel like sitting on credits when I've been itching to play that game.

Need to load up on credits again though for when Saints Row The Third comes out, plus Arkham City and AC: Revelations

I always respond back saying thanks just to reopen the ticket and leave it open until they respond or I feel like I need to ask again.

just a heads up, new offer Profinity. I did it on a different site, costs $3 and is 14 day trial, however, I believe you have to mail in a form in order to cancel your membership

Mailed in my form to cancel tushy trial two days, got an email today saying everything is cancelled. Was really worried I was gonna get charged due to them claiming the post office lost it or something. Phew.

I went to cancel Gamefly last weekend and they offered me a free month to stick around, I figure why not, only service on that site I can really use 100%

Glad to hear you finally heard something about that controller, dopesun. It's been 6 days for me since getting "shipped" email from trainn, so I hope to see mine soon.

Hmmm...the Profinity trial says I'm "already a member" and to login. But, I've never done this trial, and, it doesn't recognize my email address when I try to recover a password.

Ugh. Guess I'll try again in a bit...maybe it's my address it doesn't like.

EDIT: Yep, definitely my email address...which sucks, since it has to be the same as what I use on YF360. :/

Thanks for the responses fellas...i feel like they havnt mailed it either. But why would they not order the item? Thats a little grimey. ive never had an issue with ordering and shipping until now... Im hoping its a small speed bump. The problem is i reported this issue on Aug 25th in a different TT and recieved this response on Aug 25th "At this time, a tracking number has not yet been entered into our system for your order. Items typically arrive within 3-5 business days of being shipped though so you can expect it to arrive in the next couple of days, if it has not yet already." fast forward and its almost a month later damn.... BTW i reopened the old TT and the new TT... Just for good measure...

Why's that? I've used different email addresses before.

Just tried the offer and recieved the same message.... hmmm
Why's that? I've used different email addresses before.
yeah i NEVER use the same email as my yf360g email...otherwise it would be packed full of spam....i have a junk email account which i use for my offers.

anyway, it wouldnt take my email either. so i used a different one and it went through.

On the spam topic, I've used one of my main email addresses for all of the sites I've done (7 or 8 offers total) and never gotten 1 bit of spam mail. Maybe I just have a really good filter

Did profinity thanks! Got credited too.

Btw! You guys notice the banner about a new y360 website? They call it "expansion pack". Any idea what the new rewaards will be? I emailed them and got no reply :p

I'm hoping we can use our creds to order CEs with this new site. I REALLY want to get the skyrim CE$ I have it preordered, but it would be nice to be able to use my creds on them

I set up an email for yf360g use and it gets 2 spam emails per day. I've been surprised at how few it gets. It's the same 2 every day. I could probably unsubscribe from them if I cared to.

I guess I'll give it a go with a different email address.

I had created a spam email account for all things Trainn. It's something anybody new to the site should be doing.

And I've just never used a different email address for trials because I don't think they're a fan (Trainn) when the MCR's show as a different email address. *shrugs* Guess that may not matter though.

How long did it take Profinity to send the email with the password? I'm waiting on that (and seeing if I actually get credited this time)

great. here's hoping the cookie keeps me signed in.

edit: signed out and tried to recover my password 3 times. Still no email. derp. look forward to canceling this one soon (esp since my account seems dead and I haven't gotten any credits since last November. Time to start a new one when I move next month).

used a diif. email and it signed me up. haven't received a credit as of yet 2 hrs later...

I got the email pretty much instantly too. I haven't received credit for the offer though. I'm guessing MCR.
Same way with my Driver San Francisco. It's still sitting at "Processing" and it has for a little while.
Geez...this is starting to get pretty bad. By all appearances, it looks like Trainn is on its way out, but then we get things about them "improving the site" or starting new ones. Unless their attention is really just that divided, I don't know why they would take on more when they can't seem to keep up with the sites they have.

I used to have no doubts in the service and have no problems recommending it to others. But at this point, I feel like I'm just waiting on the other shoe to drop and to just stop receiving games from them entirely. The few people who got release date delivery lately, you guys are lucky as hell.

No idea why they wouldn't order the item when they say they have. Lack of funds? Business equivalent of living paycheck to paycheck? Whatever the reason, it's been pretty well documented here that they've been operating at a slower speed and need a little extra motivation to get things done. The problem with this mentality is that it causes you to get backed up. They've got new orders to fill on top of old orders, and it probably doesn't take much for one of them to get overlooked. It's pretty bad when every order I place now, I'm just hopeful it will show up.

Honestly, I've felt like I'm more or less done with Trainn once I complete one more offer and order my last game. They've been slacking, for some reason or another...and I've also kinda felt like they'll someday kick the bucket and close up shop. (Which is why I've never hoarded credits for very long.)

That being said...my Driver issue is funny. Funny that I put in an order for it and Gears 3 within a few minutes...well before Gears 3 was even out. And, I got it already (on release date, like mentioned). I'm putting in a help desk ticket and email tonight for Driver...but, I think I'm at the back of the queue behind everybody else.

EDIT: Sent my email off. Will open a Support Ticket tonight, when I get home. (Their site is blocked at work.)

Holy shit, I just got a credit for Profinity. This is, literally, the first credit I've gotten since November 2010. I can finally order a game! Though I'm gathering that it might never show up, so... that's cool.

FYI: My NHL 12 just shipped! I ordered late on Sept 12th, so it's been about 11 days instead of 7. ood luck to others waiting for items to ship!
Well, a few hours after I sent those emails...Driver says it shipped. Coincidence...or...?
Funny thing u mentioned that because after i posted here about my shipping issue i sent an email. The very next day i got a response in my trouble ticket (the resonse is posted.)

Then i reopened a trouble ticket and received a response the very same evening. but all they said, which makes me wonder what the deal is, they stated we are still waiting for a tracking number...? So what gives? because if everything is done by amazon (which 98% of the time it is) all they have to do is give em a call and say so and so's name and address whats the tracking info? Plus i shop on amazon and tracking is given as soon as the item is shipped. Now, I dont know exactly how a business account goes, but getting tracking shouldnt take a month.

So TRAINN, if you r reading this, get with the program. I dont know how much u guys get for these offers we do for you, but if its not enough to give us our rewards, then you should think out your program a little better. There are gamers in numerous forums that use you for not only game rewards but Ipods and so forth. We do our part, so please do yours. :grouphug:

Did you guys have to log in for the credit thing that is mentioned in the email or just sign up? I logged in but haven't done anything beyond that. Still no credit.

Tried Profinity again using a different email. It declined two of my credit cards (both Visa).

So, fuck that offer. Guess I'll have to wait for a different one.

just logged in after they sent me the email..

So update... I just received this reply from TRAINN...

"I apologize for the delay in your controller arriving.

We are waiting for further information from the carrier on why it has not yet been delivered, however, as your controller has not arrived, to prevent any further delay, we have issued a replacement to you. The replacement was issued today via USPS with confirmation number xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and should arrive within 2-3 business days.

So i dont know if it was originally stolen, which wouldn't surprise me, or are they bs ing me. Either way i have a tracking number now...
