I decided to make one thread and every time I receive a list of price drops, or someone PM's me a list or whatever, I will update the OP. This list has a new format as of 6/30/07. These are the prices that they will ring up at the register, despite what the sticker price says. I hope this new format is easier to read for you.

The price format is as follows: new/used. Example: 19.99/14.99.. 20 new, 15 used. If the price has --, it means the price was not changed. Example: Madden 07 --/14.99 means that the new price was not changed.

MVP Pricing Guide! If the used price is the price on the left, the price on the right is what the price would be with MVP!

Has the price for MK Armeggedon LE dropped any? I was at Crazy yesterday and I think it was 40 bucks used without MVP. Isn't the regular edition like $20 now?

no and yes. I don't know why they haven't dropped the collector's edition. It's stupid. The CE used is still 41.99.

Thanks for the info. I'm waiting for a drop on the game, but knowing my luck when it does, the game will be gone. :cry:

If all else fails, I have a CE stashed at my store. I'll pick it up for you if it drops.

It's the Kano/Sonya one.

I'm also not at liberty to divulge much information..

but let me say that if you want a Wii.. be at your local GameCrazy store on Monday morning at open. If they don't have any.. try Tuesday.

Thanks Scorch. All hell has been breaking loose on the racks at my Crazy, you can barely find any games in the right section, so maybe I will luck out, who knows.

I know it's specific to each store, but do Meet the Robinsons and Dance Dance Revolution for 360 still trade in for ~$30 each?

I just preordered the Oblivion GotY... I will have to consider picking this up instead and just going with the DLC with my cheap CC points... I've asked this about 5 times on CAG (and even asked Wombat personally) and no one seems to know the answer - when you play Shivering Isles as DLC does the Oblivion disc have to be in (which I'm assuming it does)? If so, does it spin at full speed or is the Xbox quiet during SI play? Kind of a wierd question, I know, but if I can get my 30 hours or whatever of Shivering Isles play done QUIETLY without the disc in full rumble-spin mode then I'd rather go with the cheap regular Oblivion and download Shivering Isles.

D'oh! And Spectrobes is now $19.99? I paid more than that during some sale a few months back (and have yet to open it).

Shivering Isles is in-game content. You walk up to the island and enter it through there. It is not a standalone game. Shivering Isles is as much of a part of Oblivion as walking to any town is. When you download SI, an island will pop up on your map. Travel there and you will be able to visit the Shivering Isles.

I only recall ever receiving two. After they were sold, no more came in. My store has plenty of used CE's, but it has no slipcover, so i'm not getting it.

And yes, I really am that anal about buying a CE with a slipcover.

I think they sell DDRU (game only) for $40 used, so trade in should be around $25 (thinking about trading in mine too). I have a feeling MTR will be worth much less than $25 though...
 
I checked DDR yesterday and I don't even think it was $15.. I dunno, i'll have an answer for you asap. IO and I need to do that AIM thing and update the wiki! :p
 
$24 Oblivion sounds amazing, as it's the one 360 game I've wanted since launch but was waiting for a drop. If the 50% off sale is legit, $12 Oblivion is a godsend.

Do I bite now or wait for GOTY?

Need for Speed Carbon (360) looks like a universal price drop as Best Buy also now has it for $29.99 new.

I'm hoping it drops at EB before the end of the week so I can pick it up for $12.50 with the $10 coupon and EDGE card.

That's what I am thinking... if the 50% deal does go on, I will pick up Oblivion for $12.50, then maybe trade it in down the line at like EB/GS, when there is a deal on Oblivion GOTY. I'm thinking that getting the non-GOTY would be somewhat smart if it is cheap, because you can atleast start a character, and take advantage of glitches like unlimited items. There is no chance I would actually buy the $45 worth of DLC on Live for it seperately...

Not sure about Oblivion, but Need for Speed Carbon did drop at GS/EB so it's $14.29 after the $10 coupon and EDGE. Just a heads up for those who thought they might get it at GC after the drop.

Finally, RRR is down to $29.99 new / $24.99 used. Didn't really take the normal Ubisoft drop, save that one week @ BB long before I had a Wii.

Nice to see some of the other Wii games also dropped, plus that some of the newer 360 games are on the way down. Juarez might sell better @ $39.99, and I know Monster Madness needs to drop more before I'll grab it. Rest of them, I'm not sure how much they'll need to go before they get sellable.
 
Oh, nice to see Tenchu Z dropping, I like the demo, but full retail was way too high, and hopefully it dropping now will mean it drops again soon.
And wow, did Call of Juarez drop REALLY fast, or is it just my imagination?
And RRR seems like it could be fun at that price, seeing as how the Wii version is supposed to be the best, but too bad I only have one controller right now...

I hope I can find RRR for 22.49 after MVP. The used Wii game selection is pretty slim at my store with mostly Red Steel and cartoon movie games.

Gotta love the trade values for things like Halo Wars. But damn, that trade-in value for Halo 3 is pretty bad ($22.73). I'd assume that will go up when it is actually released.

I see Forza 2 is still at $30. I may take that one in soon...

Yeah, some of those unreleased game quotes are kind of strange. Blazing Angels 2 (360) only gets $12? Wow, are they expecting that game to suck the big one? (Not that the first one was anything to write home about)

the computer lists us selling it used at 29.99. It'll probably change once the game comes out.
 
Updated with today's drops. Marvel UA Gold Edition and COD3 Gold Edition dropped to cheaper prices than copies of the regular versions. Weird.

And the advertisement shows $30, so the trade-in would/should be bumped to 30 w/ MVP
 
Hmmm, CoD3 seems pretty tempting at $25 used, plus its the Gold pack. What sucks for me though is that I got MUA like a week or so after it came out(last October), and have barely played it. Now the Gold version is way cheaper, and has more content:bomb:

Sounds like the $23 with MVP on Darkness was because the store had a lot of used copies.
