I decided to make one thread and every time I receive a list of price drops, or someone PM's me a list or whatever, I will update the OP. This list has a new format as of 6/30/07. These are the prices that they will ring up at the register, despite what the sticker price says. I hope this new format is easier to read for you.

The price format is as follows: new/used. Example: 19.99/14.99.. 20 new, 15 used. If the price has --, it means the price was not changed. Example: Madden 07 --/14.99 means that the new price was not changed.

MVP Pricing Guide! If the used price is the price on the left, the price on the right is what the price would be with MVP!

I just looked at the trade in price of Halo 3 Legendary ($60) do they really expect you to trade in the helmet or is it going to be like all the rest where as long as the get the disc, i guess that might be a YMMV situation.
 
AVOID Call of Duty 3.

It's bad. Awful. Terrible. No good. Filled with bugs, boring and poorly balanced. It looks nice... but otherwise it's crap!

The Limit two per customer, does that mean I can trade in 2 Xboxes and get $100 credit?

I think this just sealed the deal that I'll be picking up my Elite soon.
 
Wow, didn't take long for All Pro Football and Stuntman:Ignition to drop. Especially Stuntman, which has been out, what a few weeks?
 
What's the normal trade in value for a PS2? (I didn't see it on the wiki)
And can I trade in a PS2 towards a 360 or does it need to be PS2->PS3 only and Xbox->360 only?
 
Don't know about swapping a PS2 for a 360, et cetera, but normal trade in value for a PS2 or XBox is about $30. You can also use the CAG Wiki located in the banner at the top of each page.

Actually I checked the wiki and they didn't have a price listed in the PS2 Hardware /Accessories section (they only listed the Eyetoy)

I don't know if it was a mistake or not but I just got an $80 credit for an old Xbox system towards a new Xbox 360 Elite.
 
Huh, so the deal worked out as intended. I didn't read that as being an Extra $50 off. I read it as a bump from 30 to 50 for the trade. Even better.

An elite for $150 out of pocket suits me well. Thanks to CC flipping a while back. Thank you DDR Ultramix and DOAX2 :)
 
Updated with this past week's drops. I was tempted by Sonic on the 360, but I passed. Trauma Center is very tempting, though. I caved and finally got Vegas (again).
 
Hmmm... Yeah, I think I'll wait for even lower on the 360 Sonic (I'm sure it will be on clearance somewhere in the future).

Scorch, I just noticed Kororpina Marble Madness for the Wii at $29.99 when I was in there tonight picking up my Zelda preorder. Was this an old drop? I was pretty sure it was still $39.99 everywhere, but for all I know it dropped a few months back. I know that my GC still had it shelf-tagged at $39.99 until recently but then they often don't update pricing. I'd really like that to hit $19.99 and then I'll probably get it. That's another one of those games that should have started at $19.99 (like Mercury, whenever it finally comes out).
 
I think it dropped but didn't print out on a price drop. There were a few like that. I know it's been $29.99 for at least three weeks now.

I've heard it controls much better than the Wii SMB (which I didn't like, though the control was OK). I'm definitely getting it, it's just a matter of price ;).
 
Great price on Trauma Center, but I guess that means I shouldn't bother waiting for a price drop on New Blood. 11 month wait for $20 is a bit much.

Maybe time to pick up Sonic on Wii. I could wait for $14.99, though. Probably will be there by spring.

Because there are a lot of people that can't figure out 10% off the cost of a game. It's insanely easy, but apparently some people don't get it, so I just went ahead and did it.

Yes. Sorry about that. I'm so used to writing "08" on the back of warranties and MVP cards (expiration dates).

I got $11.55 from Crackdown. Receipt's not on me, but like most people given a computer at a young age, I am cursed by my ability to memorize numbers (cursed because I am an arts major). So $10.50 without MVP, unless the cashier fucked up, since there were a couple of more suspect numbers on the receipt, but I didn't complain since they seemed alright and I couldn't get rid of 'em on eBay anyway. Usually it seems with MVP it rounds up to the nearest dollar?
 
Using the 20% extra credit for your trades coupon. This was done on tuesday 10/16

I remember asking about the darkness (360), if I recall correctly, it was $11.50 before MVP. Pretty sure that was the amount, could be wrong. I remember it being insulting though

Oh no! I happen to have a ps3 and a 360 Darkness to dump and it's that low?! I guess thats what happens when one has to make hasty decisions from a crappy selection... ;)

What is this 20% coupon you speak of? I'm going to finally give in and get MVP. I had said I wouldnt use it, but I suppose it will come in handy.
 
Sorry to double post, but here's an update with over-the-phone values:

Which is a total of 161.38. Adding on that 20% (which I presume it the new MVP bonus in the OP?) makes it 193.65.

Now I won't post the Gamestop prices individually, but in total they quoted me 126. They're offering 20% extra if you preorder Guitar Hero 3 (which you can then move off onto something else) plus the extra $10 for every 2 current gen titles, and he said Edge would even work. So if he was truthful, and all 3 modifiers stack (and I'm doing my math right) that brings a total of $203.80.

So $10 more if all 3 stack at Gamestop. I wonder if it's worth the hassle of worrying about the 3 bonuses stacking. My other game credit is all at GameCrazy as well.

Decisions decisions...

Sorry for the lack of updates. I haven't been to work in a week and a half/nearly two weeks. Those that have talked to me on XBox Live know why - i've had a nasty combination of strep throat/laryngitis/cold. Upper respiratory stuff where i'd be coughing all night into the XBox Live headset. There should be a massive update on prices soon.
 
You should be posting a massive update of prices that happened in your absence or Game Crazy will have a massive update of prices in the near future?
 
That 16 page drop sucked to type up. Hopefully you guys get something out of it. I grabbed a racing wheel and two blaster guns on XBox for 5.99.

Too bad it's only used, I noticed a lot of stuff that I'd like. The pelican code breaker thing for the ps2 and one of the logitech controllers I would like, but I don't think I've ever seen a used game cheat device there ( or at any gamestore).
 
Scorch, any idea if the GBA SP AC Adapters are included in the list? I'm in need of an AC Adapter for a fat DS.
