Here is a list of $18.99 new games that dropped. I am not posting the used price either because it's unavailable on the sheet I have or it hasn't changed, but in most cases, it'll be $17.99 or $14.99. The big deal for the $18.99 new games is because GC periodically runs a B2G1F or B1G1F on $18.99 new games and people always complain because the $18.99 games are pretty shitty, but there's actually a lot of great new additions to the $18.99 new category. If the price is lower than $18.99, it will be noted. If the price is $18.99, nothing will be listed. And here we go!

I remember Wombat had some pretty negative things to say about it, but i've never read a full review on this game.
 
The B1G1 and B2G1 usually rears its head every month or month and a half.. i'll keep you posted.

I bought it from Target on clearance for $15 a while back, and it was fun enough. Really easy 1000 GS if you use cheats, and are willing to spend a little time getting the headshot/ Ghost bullet kills.

Hey Scorch, is it possible that Infinite Undiscovery for $9.99 new could be YMMV at different GameCrazy's? I went to my local GC and it was marked at $18.99 with all the other titles and then I asked the employee to scan it and he said it rang up as $18.99.

Is there an ad I can print off to show my local GC that it should be $9.99 if it isn't YMMV?

Hah GC strikes again! Going from past experience, my guess is that store hasn't updated their systems yet or whatever they have to do to get the new prices showing up.
 
Prices are never YMMV. It's literally impossible for a store to open the next morning without closing out for the day and getting updated pricing files. It's extremely rare, but possible, that the price file would've downloaded late to their system, but even if that was the case, it would've shown up today. The employee probably wanted to keep it to himself. Infinite Undiscovery was still $9.99 new/$7.99 as of close tonight. It did indeed drop to $18.99 on Tuesday, but dropped again to $9.99 on Wednesday.
 
Hey Scorch since your the GC insider around here, I got an email from GC saying "Hundreds of Titles $9.99" are these all used or whats the deal?

I would like to know before taking the 20 minute drive to the GC here because that place is a hole with employees that care more about the game they are playing then helping people that come in the door,,,

Can anyone recommend a good game that is long in length and is offline. I am moving next week and won't internet until they hook it up. Is Infinite Undiscovery good?
 
I just called today about GTA4 and the its 19.99 used, don't know about new since they didn't have any in. Just thought I would let ya'll know. I'm finally going to go pick this up haha.

I just went to gamecrazy. Infinite Undiscovery is back up to $18.99. Both the register and game box said it was back up to $19. It was $10 about a week ago, he said. And he wasn't trying to push me off the sale for himself, as they had five or six copies left.

Blue Dragon isn't as good. TRU has Lost Odyssey $20, Tales of Vesperia $20, Chrono Trigger $10, Rondo of Swords $10, FF XII Revenant Wings $20... but only while still in stock since they are marked down. Eternal Sonata is ok too. Really though, we've still yet to see RPGs this gen as good as the best last gen. If you want a good RPG in the style of FF games, then get Xenosaga 1-3. SE has not made a good rpg for 360 or PS3 yet so I haven't played them. If it has to be for 360 and SE game, then I'd consult metacritic, but I wouldn't go for those games over the others.

Hm...when I checked on thursday our PoP LE was still $24.99. I'm at a standalone HV. But otherwise all the 18.99/14.99 prices seem correct at our location too.
 
picked up a gta se and the two monkeys would not stop trying to add on crap. 'a 19.99 guide for 7.99 thats a great deal who wouldnt want that' and 'you are going to regret not getting the game guard i can guarantee it'

Tales of Vesperia by far. Lost Odyssey or Valkyria Chronicles a close second.
 
Infinite Undiscovery did indeed go back up in price. I'll remove it from the list. I was mad about it.

Prince of Persia also went back up in price.

I'll just edit this thread to post drops instead of making new ones all the time.
