GameRush is starting to expand, so check the store locator every once in awhile to see if one is coming to an area near you. :)

All BlockBuster's should now accept trades, so the trade in prices for BB and GR should be similar, but normal BBs will not always have the deals that GameRush has.

GameRush accepts game trades without case and instructions and the games can be in poor condition depending on the employee.

You must have a BB account and sign a trade agreement to trade at GameRush.

Please be careful if you scam GameRush (by flipping games) since they do have the abillity to bann you from all GameRush locations if they want to.

the trade 2 get a preorder for $35 works for PSP games. So everyone else with zillions of blockbuster dollars from past deals can easily unload them on preordering PSP games.

I went to trade in Mechassault 2 to GR today and they would only give me $30 for it even though their website and trade in board said $35. The manager wouldn't budge. Anybody else had this problem?

BTW, I did the trade 2 for a Pre Order for the LE of Doom which retails at 59.99 so that is a pretty good deal that can be taken advantage of.

I had this the other day. Our map and everything else tells us to advertise it at that. I had someone come in the other day to trade theirs and I went ahead and did the competitor price match in the computer and it brought it to $35 and commented the customers account so if my dl flips he can shove it. (its on our trade flyers as well)

Hey i was at gamerush, i had already preordered my psp the other day, but some guy up there told my friend that you have to purchase the $400.00 bundle when it comes out. Any one else know about this?

Note to OP: Instead of "waffles style", you should put the most recent, quality deal in the title so people will become attracted to the thread, like what was done before.

Thats how blockbuster still has it in the system...sorta as a place holder. IT should be $249.99 with Spiderman 2 (movie) in psp format, headphones, ac adapter and whatever else it was Sony announced with it.

I had this problem too, but I didn't know they PM'd trade in values...good to know. I didn't mind getting $30, didn't even know that I could argue that one.
 
call their let us know number and tell them what happened. most regional managers will bitch at the guys who are shafting you guys. they know blockbuster wants you trading in house only (even at a loss many times). next time they will honor their Fing policies (price match, the flyer is good as long as the dates on it haven't passed, the customer is to be gently massaged whenever possible, etc.). shit like that pisses me off, they are just giving you a hard time because they don't like you. blockbuster has very few hard policy lines.
 
does gamerush give any type of warranty for their systems like gamestop and eb. i really want to buy a warranty for my psp when i buy it, just incase something happens to it. does anyone know if they sell them?

No, not currently. You may find a few stores you can argue the 30 day return policy but thats it (its supposed to be for preowned stuff only).

Anyone hear about the HALO 2 tourney they are holding at GR. Just got wind of it and didnt see it posted. Dont know what the prizes are, but I was told the tourney should be around March 26

Is anyone having trouble preording games that are too close to release date? I really wanna get NBA Street V3 but none here will let me. :(

if its in the computer, the only other reason they wouldn't take it is because they already have too many in the store.

On the back of the cards it states:
"This Stored Value Card will expire after 24 months of consecutive non-use, "

So, if I wanted to save the value on my cards, I just have to make sure I use it at least once in the next 2 years. Or do I have to use all that is on the card before 2 years. I'm guessing I just have to use some of it. I just wanted to clarify though.

As of now, I've got more than enough credit and nothing really worth buying since I already have a huge backlog. I'll probably use it when the next-gen systems come out. As of now, the cards will expire in Dec. '06

It's to make sure they have the correct order number for preorders.

Here in CA it's illegal for gift/value cards to expire or take penalty fees, so no worries here.

yea it lists a few states in which it is illegal to do so, but TX isn't one of them. I think it should be like that everwhere. That's like stealing money from you. Oh well. Once in the next 2 years isn't too bad.

Thanks. Yea. I was planning on buying something extremely cheap just to keep the cards active. Then again, 2 years is a long time to have about $150 burning in your pocket.

Funny, I just preordered NBA Street V3 yesterday (Sunday)!

They also said that the date they should be recieving it should be the 11th....that's strange, because they get shipments on Wednesdays only.

I'm not entirely sure how we could hook you up with the deal? You'd have to send us games to trade in or money to buy games to trade in plus the remaining balance. That's not even taking into account shipping back & forth. I don't know how much you'd be saving after all this. Seems like a headache to me.
 
Anyone know the trade in value of Fable? I want to preorder either Xenosaga II or DMC3 and I want to optimize my trade in.
