- Trade any 2 games, get any preorder for $29.99. I forgot to check if XBox 360 games are included in the deal, but as most people have already stated, I highly doubt it.

- The two games that are traded in for the deal must retail for at least $7.99 each (preowned price).

- The credit can still be applied towards the $29.99.

Preorder Lists (Dates are subject to change and when those changes happen up date us in the thread and I will try my best to update here in OP so people won't have to read through the thread to find them)- Credit to io for supplying these lists.

Game Pass

Rent unlimited games for a month. You can have one game (or 2 depending on the pass) out at a time and can return it whenever you want and switch it out as many times as you want.

$21.99 for 1 Game

http://www.gamerush.com/rules_gamepass.php click this link to find out about gamepass at Gamerush.

You must have a credit card/check card to signup. Checkcard must be visa, mc, amex, dc, or diners club. You can also do it by getting a prepaid visa, mc, dc or amex card with at least $1 on it so it will clear the authorization and just pay for it each month (very tedious though). You can cancel at any time. Good on any rental game (gamecube, psp, nds, gba, xbox, ps2).

GAMERUSH WEBSITE

This should have alot of stuff so please just search around the website before asking questions. Website updates happen but most deals are in effect way before they are updated on gamerush.com so check in the thread for the newest deals.

My experience was a little different:
I get a phone call from the automated system just saying I have something overdue. I then get a postcard that is a statement telling me how much I owe. I went in the store and they didn't have it on the computer, and 5 days later it shows up on my credit card's unbilled activity.
I got Jedi Outcast for GC that way - I asked 3 employees about it (and also mentioned it here) before I did it. They were perfectly fine about it. In fact, when I rented it, the receipt said "Buy this game for only $17.99 more" or something to that effect - so it really isn't deceitful at all since it seems like they encourage it! They did have 2 copies, so it was no biggie to take one of them. They did NOT, however, have the manual in either copy, but I did go back later when I paid for it to get the case with insert (I promptly switched the trashed case out for one from a new GC game that I was trading in later :D).

It is a little wierd because they called AND I got a letter from BB corporate telling me the game was overdue. The BB corporate letter gave me a start (though I got it before the "letter" thread on CAG was posted - but I was still thinking it might be a trading related thing). And of course, every time I went in to trade or buy games, they would remind me it was due - for like 3-4 weeks until I finally insisted they just charge me for the damn thing - it did NOT happen automatically.
Well, I just was able to cancel a few more pr-orders at GAmeRush and pre-order two more 360 games (for the difference of course)

has everyone with built up credit start splurging on xbox 360 stuff? i am desperately trying to decide if i want to buy now or wait for the first price drop. here is hoping for some of the new ds bundles later this year, and cool colors too. is there a list of included items for the GR xbox bundle?

GameRush doesn't have any Xbox 360 bundles as of yet, but some stores will let you preorder Xbox 360 games, (like mine) but I'm not getting a 360 at launch, so :'(

I wouldn't say splurge...but I did pay for a 360, extra wireless controller, recharging pack, Call of Duty 2 and Oblivian. Will have about $250 left in credit by the end of the month. I wanted to get a 2nd 360 preordered but they weren't getting any more than the first 10.

I am waiting on the "official" gamerush price drop of Kameo and PDZ before I get those.

Well, I'm using all/most of my credit on 360 stuff. I have the system plus 6 games pre-ordered. I also have a few XBOX and PSP games pre-ordered also. I think 11 total.

My credit will be about gone by then, but I have a few more XBOX games to trade in....not a big deal, I'm glad I got my 360 with all my credit.

Wait, if you get $27 for Dead to Rights II at Gamerush, where is it that you can buy it cheapest? I'd like to get in on this deal.

Also, how much would I get by trading in my Nintendogs? It's getting kinda old, and I'd much rather have Castlevania.

For XBOX 360, I have these on paid off:

Kameo
Oblivion
Call of Duty 2
Gears of War
Perfect Dark 0:CE (At GameStop)
Play and Charge kit
$100 on XBOX 360 (I have 1 paid off at GS. If I can get in the first shipment at GS, I'll cancel this)

I still have 2 XBOX games and 1 GC game left on preorder, and once I cancel my XBOX 360 preorder, I should still have around $500 left in credit, however, I am going to spend most of my credit once GR gets Splinter Cell 4, Too Human, Resident Evil 5, Mass Effect, Huxley, Halo 3, Alan Wake, Unreal Tournament 2007, Battlefield:MC, and Prey in the system.

Traded in

Warioware: Touched - $15
Yoshi's Touch & Go : $11
Nintendogs: $11
Twisted Metal PSP: $22

Kind of pissed that the Nintendogs credit wasn't a little more, but oh well. I wanted to pick up Castlevania, but they only had it for rent, WTF?

Hmmm... My GR had 2 copies of Castlevania on the shelf today. I passed since I didn't preorder it (shocking, I know). Meh - just don't like 2D fighters. I was going to preorder it if they didn't have it in yet, though - DAMN them for getting a game on time once when I could have used the delay.

I also picked up my PSP Virtua Tennis.

I enquired about some trade values (only actually traded 2 of these):

Xbox - Dead to Rights II: $27
PS2 - Nightmare of Druaga: $19
Xbox - Galleon: $19
GC - Metabots Infinity: $19 (yeah! I finally found one of these at a TRU the other day!)
PS2 - Katamari: $7
PS2 - Demon Stone: $7
PS2 - Shaun Palmer Pro Snowboarding: $2.50

They were WAY too busy with Friday evening movie rental customers for me to ask about any more preorders, so I just did a second copy of Star Wars Battlefront II. Will deal with that later...

Thanks VERY MUCH to the people here who tipped me off about Dead to Rights. I went to Best Buy with the TRU Buy 2 Get 1 free ad, and had them price match it so I could get Donkey Konga 2, and 2 copies of DTR II... So I can turn $40 into DK 2 and $54 in GR credit - sweet... Will be playing Donkey Konga with the kids in about 20 minutes.

Shit, I didn't even think about that. The B2G1F is more expensive, but an even better deal than GGC. I'm pretty sure there's another $19.99 game I want at BB. I'll have to investigate. Though, I already have two copies of Trivial Pursuit and a copy of Rising Sun to trade in, so that would be my fourth game. We'll see what my credit card thinks of the deal when I drive over to the nearest BB with it in stock.

Let's see... could turn $55 spent into $75 credit and 2 games (Intellivision Lives via TRU and some Player's Choice game via BB). Question is do I need that extra $15 credit after two preorders. Eh, why not.

And Donkey Konga is sweet, I just played it for about an hour, I'm pretty damn good.

Edit: Bah, scratch the two copies of Dead to Rights 2 for now... that would leave me with 5 games, and I don't feel like spending the extra cash to get a 6th game as I'd still have to pay a few bucks out of pocket for a third preorder. I'll play it cheap with one copy and two preorders for now.
It's $20 at Best Buy making it $15 after GGC. YAY!
Then I'll be heading to Best Buy today so I can finally pre-order GTA: LCS at Gamerush. :D

NBA Live 2006 is only getting $19, and NBA 2k6 is getting just $10. Both are xbox. The trade in values were alot lower than I expected so I didn't trade either in.

My plan went just about according to plan today:

Dead to Rights 2 (XB) - $27
Trivial Pursuit (PS2) x2 - $7 ea (thought it was gonna be $8, ah well)
Medal of Honor: Rising Sun (GC) - $4.25

Preordered Super Mario Strikers and Mario Party 7 with the help of $10 in gift cards and an additional $7.50 out of pocket.

Two games that will probably be $50 for a long time (plus Intellivision Lives from TRU in the B2G1F) for approximately $40 out of pocket cost.

There were a few more copies of D2R2 where I got it, so I'll pick up another one next time a good game pops up (I'm mostly worried about either the games I know I'll enjoy (i.e. Fire Emblem) or the Nintendo games that won't drop (Mario galore). The other stuff that I'm interested in like Gun and Spartan will probably drop in a few months after I have an opportunity to rent.

Just realized how much I love this deal. 4 Mario games, X-Men, Fire Emblem, and Zelda for under $100 out of pocket (approximately the cost I would buy them if and when they dropped to 17.99 used at EB)

Thanks, I think I'll go pick up Dead To Rights also....I need to build up some credit, plus I have McD's bucks to use.

*EDIT*
Picked up Dead To Rights....

Traded in with ATV (PSP) also...$27 & $22 respectively

Anyone have extra copies of Nightmare of Druaga they'd be willing to trade for copies of Galleon? I have tons of Galleons and don't want to get in trouble for trading all of them in. But... that's all they're good for :)

I've only got one copy of Nightmare of Druaga to trade in for $19, and one copy of Dead to Rights 2 to trade in for $30. The trade in price at my local GR is $30, unless it's dropped since about...5 days ago? It probably has, I'm never lucky, :'( I'm going to preorder Socom 3 (PS2) and then either buy Far Cry: Instincts if they have it in used, or get Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow with the $19 left over and my $7.50 left on my gift card. I'm happy, C: DoS and Socom 3 for about $35 out of pocket. Yay!

Prices are usually updated on Tuesdays. So you may have checked on Monday? Or its possible you're getting $30, there were a few cases where things were a bit different (i.e. Cali got less for Gran Turismo 4 back a few months ago). $27 is still pretty good for a $15 purchase though.

Yeah, but my Best Buy doesn't have any GGC's left, unless I'm not looking hard enough... but $21.79 turned into $27 or $30 and then a preorder of a game for $29.99, is fine by me. Especially since I got NoD for $7.96 at the CC clearance, and I'll be getting $19 for it. :D

I am in a similiar boat, but I am just planing to split up the trade ins between 2 stores. Not sure how many you have I have 4...

Yes! I found a few GGC's at my BB, so I got Dead to Rights 2 for $15+tax and it trades in for $27-$30! I also have a copy of NoD (PS2) that was $7.96+tax at Circuit City and that trades in for $19, so $8.44+$15.79= $24.23, and that equals $46-$49 in credit, - $29.99 for a Socom 3 preorder and then I have $16-$19 left over, and my $7.50 left on my gift card, which equals $23.50-$26.50, and then I'll get another 2 cheap games to preorder Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for XBox with. They have a lot of copies of D2R2 at my BB so I'll be going there a lot to pick up some more of them for trade in fodder towards BF2 and Star Wars Battlefront 2, and also to buy Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow with. I'm also going to switch my normal RE4 (PS2) preorder to RE4: Premium Edition for PS2. Does anyone know if they have the premium edition in their computer? Thanks. I've also got Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (GC) on preorder there, too. These games plus the 4 that I've just recently bought, and all of the games on my backlog list will keep me busy til Christmas, easily. :D

It's $34.99. I think every single retail store is selling it for $34.99, but you can get it for $24.99 at Best Buy with the RED $10 off coupon, which I might do... decisions, decisions. :D
I am in a similiar boat, but I am just planing to split up the trade ins between 2 stores. Not sure how many you have I have 4...
You have 4 Galleons? Or Druagas? I've traded in 4 Galleons and 4 NoDs to 2 GRs, but I still have like 6 Galleons or something. I gave 2 to a cousin to trade in somewhere else. I kept buying Galleons to get free $19.95 games at TRU
I'm pretty sure its 34.99
thanx.. will try to trade DTR2 and get this tomorrow...
how much trade in do you get for galleon and nightmare of druaga?
I get 15.75 ea at my GR, but other people get 19-20 ea.

Yeah, I get $19 for NoD, and $30 for D2R2, so I guess I'm just really lucky. :D I'm preordering Socom 3 either tomorrow or Monday, and then switching my RE4 (PS2) to RE4: Premium Edition if they have it in their system, which I hope they do. I can't wait for FE: PoR (GC) either! I'm also pretty into Lunar: DS and Lockdown, so I'll be tided over for a while. For some reason I enjoy these 2 games, while most people despise them. Ah well. :D

D2R2 for PS2 gets $20 at my GR, and D2R2 for Xbox gets $30 at my GR. Yay! :D I'm going today to preorder Socom 3, and I'll buy Far Cry: Instincts used if they have it in stock. :D
Then I'll be heading to Best Buy today so I can finally pre-order GTA: LCS at Gamerush. :D
Gamrush isn't getting that game in so good luck on that.

Here are my values from a few days ago....all Xbox titles:

NCAA Football 2006- $27
Scooby Doo Night of 1000 Frights- $4.25
Harry POtter and Azakban- $6
Ty the Tiger 2- $6

Preordered Castlevania Xbox and Battlefield 2.
Gamrush isn't getting that game in so good luck on that.
How are they not getting it? Right on the website they have a banner advertising the deal and they list GTA:LCS as one of the "great" games to pre-order.

trade in DTRII to preorder mario party 7...
didn't wanna trade in another copy at the same time... but probably will get Dawn of sorrow later.. man this deal is so tempting (look like the space channel 5 deal all over again).. if I get greedy, can I trade DTR II at another gamerush? or would that get me banned 'for sure' ... any suggestion.. :) my cheapass instinct has kick in again, not good not good :)

It says on their website you can trade in a maximum of 2 copies of the same game per day, so you should definitely be fine. I'm heading up there right now to preorder Socom 3, and hopefully find FC: I there used, but I doubt it. I might wait on CV: DoS... it's supposed to be pretty short, if you just play the main game, which is all I do in my games. :/

anyone know if animal crossing wild world for DS is up for preorder at GR yet? thanx again

I have it pre-ordered there....why would they not get it. They recently put GTA:SA back on the shelves to rent also.
anyone know if animal crossing wild world for DS is up for preorder at GR yet? thanx again
Already answered on PM, but for anyone else curious - it has been in the system since late July.

Is Animal Crossing: WW more than $30-$35? If it isn't I would rather save $20 than none, or $5. I wouldn't preorder AC unless it's the absolute last game you want. Anyways, just got back from my GR on 9 Mile and Middlebelt, and traded in Dead to Rights 2 (XBox) for $27, and Nightmare of Druaga (PS2) for $19. I preordered Socom 3, and I had $14.21 left over. That added to my $7.50 already on my gift card ~$22. :D I'll probably go grab a couple more D2R2 at my BB with the GGC, and trade them in at GR to preorder Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for XBox, and get some extra credit to purchase Far Cry: Intincts used for $33.75 after the 25% off, and to buy Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for $34.99 new. Other than those games I might get Star Wars: Battlefront 2 for XBox, and Tony Hawk's American Wasteland for XBox. I'm going to rent Radiata Stories, The Warriors, and Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and burn them to my PS2 HDD using my HD Loader. I'm definitely set til Christmas, added to my backlog of games such as Lunar: DS, Lockdown, PoP: WW, and Persona 2. I've also got to beat GTA:SA, Baten Kaitos, and Tales of Symphonia. :D

When I preordered it back in July it was listed at $39.99, but now at EBgames.com it is listed at $34.99, so that is probably the final price. Since I was 100% going to buy it anyway with GR credit, and I've pretty much gotten all the $50 preorders I want, it was a no-brainer to use the deal to get AC, even if I do only save $5. At least this way they will (most likely) save me a copy. I could see them getting 3 copies total and selling them all right away and not getting another copy for 3 months. $30 in GR credit is WAY better than $24 or $28 cash at Fry's.

The only down side to using the deal to preorder chaper games is if they really do get serious and consistent with their banning of people who trade in alot (jn which case you want to trade less often and only get $50 games for preorder).
Hopefully, if they ever feel the need to review my trading history, they will see that I have dropped a TON of preorders on $34.99 and $39.99 games, on which their profit margin (given the $29.99 deal), is much greater :D.

Haha. Hopefully that works out for you io. I've only preordered a total of 5 games there, over about a year. So I shouldn't get banned. :D I've preordered Jade Empire: LE, Burnout: Revenge, Socom 3, Fire Emblem: PoR, and RE4 for PS2. I really wanna switch my RE4 preorder to the Premium Edition but the CSR said that he's not sure if they're getting any of the premiums, but definitely the normal ones. Also, I didn't see the release date for FE:poR on the big sign they have behind the register, only Socom, BF2, SW:B 2, and RE4. I'm a little worried they won't get in any FE's even though they do advertise them on the preorder now rack, and it's in their computer. I really want FE, too.

What decent pre-orders are coming out around November/December for XBOX? I'm looking to pre-order maybe one or two more games, but I've been cancelling them and swapping them for 360 games at my GameRush. I don't want to seem deceitful in doing this too much, so I figure if I spread it out a bit, it will be less noticeable. $50 games only ;)
In November SW:B 2 and BF2: MC. In December...probably nothing... :/
I have these pre-ordered already:
X-MEN Legens II (PSP) (10/25/05)
XBOX:
Battlefield 2 (10/25/05)

So how many people have been able to switch current gen preorders to xbox360 games? I traded severeal games in yesterday and made 3 more preorders (I now have 5 total). I asked about preordering Xbox 360 games but the employee said I couldnt. Now that I won an Xbox360 it would definatley be nice to be able to switch some of my preorders.
