- As has been said, it starts on July 19th. I cannot remember offhand the date that it ends.

- Trade any 2 games, get any preorder for $29.99. I forgot to check if XBox 360 games are included in the deal, but as most people have already stated, I highly doubt it.

- The two games that are traded in for the deal must retail for at least $7.99 each (preowned price).

- The credit can still be applied towards the $29.99.

$21.99 for 1 Game

http://www.gamerush.com/rules_gamepass.php click this link to find out about gamepass at Gamerush.

You must have a credit card/check card to signup. Checkcard must be visa, mc, amex, dc, or diners club. You can also do it by getting a prepaid visa, mc, dc or amex card with at least $1 on it so it will clear the authorization and just pay for it each month (very tedious though). You can cancel at any time. Good on any rental game (gamecube, psp, nds, gba, xbox, ps2).
Also some said earlier that the trade 2 in preorder one for 29.99 ends the 31st of this month, can anyone else confirm that?
Yes, it does end then. At my GR they keep telling me the same deal will be back in Nov, but they will allow you to buy ANY new game (preorder or already released) with the deal. We'll see...

And racthamp, yes, Metroid Prime Hunters DS is in the system - has been for a while now.

Well, I'm off to TRU - seems to be a TON of D2R2 around here - just wondering how far I can push it (but $6.67 -> $27 is TOO hard to resist :D).

So true. If there were another TRU convenient to drive to, I'd take additional advantage. As it is, I will probably pick up another copy of it at my TRU, if its still there, and turn $30 into $102. Magic!

Any other games at TRU getting a good trade-in value? I want to pick up a D2R2 and something else possibly. I don't want to risk getting banned though
Son of a Bitch! Thats awesome!

Hows everyone finding DTR2? Are copies low or are you finding enough? I just want two (well 3 if that buy 2 get 1 free is going). I just want to order Spartan.

If ANYONE here is from SAN ANTONIO, PLEASE SAVE a few for your fellow cheap asses
Looks like that was for nothing. Some fuckers cleaned out the TRU near me and there were NO D2R2.... Assholes

It is even harder to resist using gift receipts to turn $0 into $54.

Here are my trades for today:

Xbox Marvel Nemesis Rise of Imperfects- $27
Xbox Syberia- $1.50
Xbox Buffy 2 Chaos Bleeds- $1.25
GC Metroid Prime- $2.50

Kinda disappointed in the low values I thought Buffy would have been more. I was still able to preorder GTA and SOCOM for PSP for $32. Can't complain there.

yep.. my TRU was clean out of the xbox version to got 3 of PS2.. oh well.. not bad.. for turning $21 to $57... will probably pick two DS games tonight and I'll be done for a long time... :)

Just traded in

Dead to Rights 2 XBOX - 27
Dead to Rights 2 PS2 - 19
Jade Empire - 6
Dead or alive 3 - 6

I was a little sad to see jade empire got the same as DOA3, but those were the only games I had left to trade in for the promotion. I preordered Soul Calibur 3 and GUN.

I'm hoping Gamerush has X-Men Legends 2 for PSP in tommorrow finally... but I really doubt it. They are so unorganized it's not even funny.

Might just pick that up when I get my GTA preorder, but who knows when GR will even get that in.

Last night I picked up 2 DTRII (Xbox) at TRU (the one on Selma). I think there were still 2 copies left after I picked up 2 myself, Ravenous, so I didn't really "clean them out." Anyway, I traded them in last night and received $54 in credit. I pre-ordered GTA: LCS with some of it, and then picked up Fable: The Lost Chapters (Xbox) with the remaining credit. Overall, I'd say that was a nice turnout (one full-priced PSP game along with a budget Xbox game) for just $20 out of pocket. :)

traded

rocky ps2
Ultimate spiderman x-box
Area 51 ps2
Crimsion skies x-box
xIIi x-box

got 62.90

preordered path of neo x-box
and battlefront 2 x-box

paid two dollars cash

get both games now. Blockbuster rules
cool. What are they going for at tru
9.99, plus TRU is having their buy 2 get 1 free sale on video games this week. I got the last xbox version of D2R, one of many ps2 versions of D2R, and xenosaga 2 for $21.xx at my TRU.
Is anyone worried about getting flagged for trading in 2-3 copies of D2R2? I may pick up a XBOX & PS2 version tomorrow...we'll see.
I've traded in 3 at GR, and 1 at BBV.... and will hopefully trade at least one more into BBV. Since the only listed restriction is "2 per title per day" or whatever, 3 isn't too worrisome for me. 10, maybe. I know the manager at GR is pretty cool, and I have a feeling the manager at my Blockbuster doesn't care about game trades, so I figure I'll be fine. Just need $80 more credit for the DS... $50 more if I get another copy of D2R2 tomorrow.

Just got back from trading in: Xbox Dead to Rights 2 x2 $33.75 ea.
Psychonauts $33.75

GC
Eternal Darkness $1.56

Looks like they're doing the extra 25% bonus again when you trade in 3 games. So I preordered King Kong for xbox and Soul Calibur 3 and bought World series of Poker for PSP with only about $4 out of pocket. GR rules. Word...

I wish they were doing the 25% bonus, I just traded in 4 games today so it must be a regional thing.

Let them ban me, I would think it's hilarious... I've gotten all I wanted out of them. I've traded in four copies in the span of two days so far, at two different GR's.

Might go pick up one or two more copies of D2R2 if my TRU has any left, and do this one last time when I pick up GTA and X-Men Legends 2 for PSP. Would give me just enough credit to get Phoenix Wright if it holds at $27.

I know one of them is going to pull up my trade history eventually, so I might as well strike while the iron is hot.
which gamerush did you go to eraser813? even though it's probobly nowhere close where i am.
I know this CAG, he went to a SOCAL gamerush.

I was at a gamerush this weekend, and I got to look at the map! The trade 2 pre-order for 29.99 does end on 10/31, but at the same time it doesn't. The new promo that starts on 11/1 is Trade in 2 to pre-order or for a new in stock game for 29.99. That runs through atleast mid Novemeber from what I saw.

 thats the one I went to today. No copies were there. Oh well, spilt milk.

When do you guys think that the price will drop on D2R2 at Gamerush? I have to go run some errands tomorrow on the other side of town that has a TRU I can check out. However, if I find a PS2 version; Id like to play it before turning it in.

Cool I missed some of the recent Gamecube games. Now if I could only find some new decent trade in games. Figure after trading in several copies of a game its time to move on to the next. I know these have been posted throughout the thread, but here is a list of the games I been trading in.

The three listed below are all $9.97 at TRU thanks to the Green tag. $6.66 with the current Buy 2 get 1 free....

Nightmare of Druaga $19 PS2
Galleon $19 XBOX
D2R2 $19 PS2/ $27 XBox

GT4 $24 from the EB Trade in deal going on through 10/31.
Power Drome Xbox $12 from circuit city markdown $2.96.

Anybody know of any I missed...
anyone know if Wild Arms Code: F is in their system? I think i'm going to preorder that and spartan: total warrior. I don't really know what else to do.

Also some said earlier that the trade 2 in preorder one for 29.99 ends the 31st of this month, can anyone else confirm that?

EDIT: has anyone heard anything about this code age commanders game? It looks kind of interesting
Wild Arms: Alter Code F is in the system as i have had it preordered for several months now, only problem is that it keeps getting pushed back.

Also, for everyone trading in multiple copies of this game (Dead to Rights 2), even though you are not breaking any written rules because i believe all of you for the most part are within the 2 per title per system rule, at least at the same GameRush/ Blockbuster any way. But during my shift today i was looking over some histories on some Trade accounts that i know have lots of activity. Basically what im saying is that it becomes a lot less obvious if you don't do both copies in the same day. And if you are only using one account at all these other GameRushes or Blockbuster you go to it doesnt look good when the regional office or corporate review your account number. A suggestion would be is to have your buddy, wife, or girlfriend sign up and then have you listed as an authorized trader. Because when account info is pulled the primary account holder's name is shown not the authorized user's so it wont appear as obvious to an employee who is not a CAG'er or a corporate staff member.
Look.... dont jerk me around.

When do you guys think that the price will drop on D2R2 at Gamerush?.
I'd be surprised if it didn't drop on Tuesday, to be honest, and I'm shocked they kept the price at $27. I mean, every store that sells video games has now marked D2R2 new at $19.99, this just seems like a VERY large oversight on their part.

Couple that with the fact that probably every single Gamerush in the US got slammed with this game, and a drop will happen very soon.

Yeah I am expecting Tuesday as well. Main reason I past on them during the B2G1F. Actually I wouldn't be surprised to see it getting more people banned.

I am surprised Blockbuster hasn't counted on Rhino Video Games pricing knowledge more. The Blockbuster owned Rhino, down the street from my GR, has been giving $7 for D2R2 for awhile now. Hell you can buy used copies there for $14.99...

Yea... Gamerush sells used copies of D2R2 for $35 I believe, same with Xenosaga 2. Both games have officially dropped everywhere to 19.99 new, so I am unsure why it takes Blockbuster so long to drop the price, if they ever do it at all. I mean, how can they not see that an older, unpopular game gets just as much trade in credit as a two week old game??

I remember a poster who used to work at GR a long long time ago saying if they didn't pull a profit by March, that they'd be done and Blockbuster would close up shop on Gamerush. I wonder if this will still hold true? Creating such large backdoor's such as this surely can't help, BB will never be able to sell all these D2R2's.

Hell, the local Gamerush is still stocked full of the Druaga's and KoF: Max Impact's I traded months and months ago.

I'll call them in the morning (I can usually get an actual Gamerush person then) to check on the price.. it may even drop tommorrow. If it hasn't, I think I'll trade one more copy of D2R2 and pick up Phoenix Wright... surprised to see GR even got this game in.

One thing I noticed when I was looking at the current MAP, they had something called the flip test. Three stores from around the country submitted flip tests for other gamerushes to try. I didn't have time to catch the details, but it seems they monitor some high priced games very closely, I dont know how they can monitor their games as we can rip off the BB price tag off the barcode easily.

I remember they popped holes in some UPCs to follow the game that way at some gamerushes. The details seem to monitor an endcap very carefully or something, I dunno just wanted to throw that out there.

That's cool that they are extending the deals. Having it for in-stock games is better than pre-order games IMO.

Did you see any deals relating to next-generation games by any chance?

I have a bunch of games to trade-in and will wait to see if the Trade 3 get a new for $29.99 is true...Any truth to the 25% more?

Hey guys, Highland Ca. is the place I got the extra 25%. I also got it 2 weeks ago at the Redlands store. As Billyknoxville said, it's in So. Cal. What's up Billy!!??? Thanks Kjauburn for summing up the good trade value games. I appreciate it.

Nope, I had no problem at all using 3 GT games as part of the B2G1 free sale. As far as I know the sale applies to any game, regardless of price, as long as it's a PS2/Xbox/GC game.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct. I picked up D2R2, Tron, and Xeno II today - will see what those get tomorrow.

I hope the 25% bonus is still on at the west covina, ca store. i will try my luck tomorrow.

I had to slow down my purchases of D2R2 - way too many copies in the TRU stores around here. I'm spreading them around to different stores and still have two left in my trade drawer. With the hurricane, I expect I won't have a chance tonight to do anything with them, so I guess tomorrow will determine what I do with them.

Anyway, the trade values I got for the weekend were already posted. Looking forward to having new games back in the deal - I can go to stores that are farther away without having to worry about return trips to claim preorders.

io: Today I had a situation where they just automatically just applied credit to my account instead of my card. Since it was an older card I was using that couldn't be loaded this way, they were able to credit the entire card value to my account. Then they transferred all of it back to newer gift card. Just in case you are still dealing with the gimpy gift card, there's another option for you.

No, you can use any game that is for PS2, Xbox, or GC. I bought the last copy the had of DTR2 on Xbox at a local TRU and if they had more than one they would let me get it too. I also got Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Viewtiful Joe for PS2 all were $9.99.

The funniest thing is though is that the PS2 version of DTR2 is also Green Tagged at the same TRU at $49.99 so it is still $25. They had about 15 copies of the PS2 version. Damn I should of had them scan it to see what the price really was.

This would be the TRU near Eastern Michigan University.

The ps2 version is $10 as well. Just not marked properly, much like the copies of the XBOX version i bought yesterday at the local TRU
