Post #150 mentions the $30/tax issue, but not the end date. Thanks for the additional info. The thread is getting a little long, it wouldn't be a bad idea if jrbernal83 or a mod were to update the OP with this information.

FYI, buy this game. I've had the import for months and it's fantastic. If this deal comes thru, I'll get a free USA too! but I will feel bad about my Japan dogs, so I'll have to play both. I'm too nice.

If a coupon was going to be in an EB flyer, wouldn't the worker have known that? I mean, all of us that have asked are told that they have no clue what the Streetwise coupon is, wouldn't it have said Store Coupon if they were printing it themselves?

When I was at Eb earlier the guy there had no idea what i was talking about when i asked him about this
 
Damn . . . I want this deal to be true . . . but I don't know if EB is crazy enough to give $10 credit for any GBA game . . . I did buy a $3 Iridiron at GS and then found out that the deal wasn't in the computer instore.

Hopefully we'll get the necessary coupon.
 
I just called the Brentwood, PA store the Nintendogs promo is in there system and it is active, and the girl I talked to said there was no coupon needed for the deal.

i just called the century 3 store and asked about the promotion and he didnt say anything about a coupon, looks like this deal is a go in western PA

My son is away on a trip with his mom and has all his Gameboy Advance games with him. I would love to ride out there tonight and jump on this while the same girl I talked to is still working, and I dont feel like hunting down some cheap GBA games, when I know he has like 6-7 games with him he does not even play.

I swear to F'ing god my eb is run by morons and assholes. I ask for Irdion, irdion 2, and Alien evo, and tell the guy i'm gonna trade them in after I pay for them. He ask me to buy an edge card and I relent. So he rings me up and their computers lock up. After that he says I think Irdion is excluded and I say no it isn't. He gets his manager and the manager gives me a speil on how you can't buy games to trade. I say I don't care and I understand that I am making them lose money, but that they wrote the rules for the deal. He agress and proceeds to do it, says it isn't in their comp and they will get it fixed tomorrow, idiots.
 
I went in. The man never heard of the deal. He trys it anyways. Does not work. Now I come back and see that you need a coupon. A big F U to the OP.

Called the EB in NJ they said the deal is good and no cupon is needed but there might be some exclusions on the games and there is a list on their website. Problem is i cant find the list, anyone know if they actually have one up on the site??

AFAIK, there is no POX list on GBA games, (some games due ring up POX as they scan them so they have to bump up the value to whatever the deal is), but I called three stores in my area and they all said no exclusions all GBA titles will work.

what he said, there are deals you rush to the store and avoid calling, because you dont want to tip everyone off before you can score, and there are deals you definetly want to call ahead and verify, you have to understand how to tell these deals apart.

I did this deal earlier today w/o any problems. I found out that EB is giving some kind of lunchbox and a DS screen cleaner for those who preorder(when you pick up the game). As a bonus, the guy working also gave me one of the stuffed dogs that I believe was given out as a bonus for preordering Harvest Moon: AWL. :cool:
 
After waiting at EB for like 30 minutes the clerk finally got the "code" from someone on the phone.I have 2 copies paid in full!

Guy also said there were no exclusions.I traded a copy of Wrestlemania for GBA as part of the deal.Its trade value was .25.lol

This deal will get abused badly.I have a feeling you better get in on it now because I bet this deal will be pulled or heavily modified.
 
fuck I tried this afternoon . . . the guy rang in three used GBA games for tradein and tried to apply them to NDogs and they didn't bump up.

fuck fuck fuck . . . I may not be able to go back until Monday and this will bug the shit out of me all weekend.

Someone with a receipt, what was the promo number?
