GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to ya goomba. Request sent via GFC website. Items are being shipping to your UPS address. Cheers!

PS. Not sure if I should create a separate DR but I saw this thread http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=247990 . Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection (360) for $9.99 at Gamestop, I tried to use your UPS zipcode to check local stock (on the gamestop website) around your area but it just came up to contact local store. If you're able to track a copy down I'd appreciate it, this game tends to be pretty elusive in Canada it seems, around my city anyways. For that price, I wouldn't mind picking up a copy.
Vhalyar, I just received a long skinny box which I believe to be your keyboard. I'm going to go eat with the wife, do some dishes and wash the floor and then I'll be unpacking/packing items. I will let you know tonight whether or not my hunch is right :) Keep an eye on the GYROS page later on and if your item is here I'll Email you. Thanks!
No update to the GYROS page, so that long & slim box wasn't it? :(
No biggie, I picked up a 4$ keyboard this morning to hold me until then.

Edit: Got your email Goomba! I've sent you the money for the extra weight.
While I'm inquiring, you wouldn't happen to have received the ME2 Collector's Edition?

Kinun, I'll go and check my DR's. Just got back from work.

Vhalyar, you already got my Email but yes it was your keyboard. Just slightly heavier than we had thought so I re-invoiced you and I already got your payment. Shipping out tomorrow morning first thing! I haven't received the ME2 collector's edition yet but it may be in today's mail. I will let you know!

CrushEm, I'll see what I can do about the Pinball game for you :) Thanks!

Oh and just for the record: The guy who was giving me a hard time and not trusting my services, I'm happy to say that we're on good terms now and he is back in my good book, so we're now up to 100% happy customers again. Hope to keep it that way for as long as humanly possible ^_^
goomba beat me up and stole my lunch money! :boxing:

BEWARE!

How goes things? My side is going well although it's certainly not as well organized. Ai and I are always going crazy trying to keep track of all the addresses and people and stuff. Doesn't help that we have very little storage space as everything needs to be higher up where Ryu can't reach!

Anyway, I decided to go with the "pay what you think the service is worth" deal rather than a flat fee. It's worked out very well so far. A couple of times I have broken even, but usually I come out pretty good!

Sorry I don't communicate much... Too busy, you and I!!!

P.S. Thank to you, telepathy has become a regular customer! He's all about running me ragged on Yahoo Auctions!
Yeah, I can be a jerk since I'm such a demanding person. There was a lot of stuff I wanted to get but couldn't get it through ebay (for an appropriate price) or elsewhere so that's why I bought so much.
Jbently, nah it's nothing sinister. I just had a customer who ordered a game and thought I was not being honest with the condition that it was in, despite the fact I let them know before shipping it, after shipping it and even offered a full refund and/or swap for a sealed copy. I know they have nothing but good intentions, but it just hurt me a bit because I try VERY hard to make you guys happy =P Some days I spent almost 12 hours on my GFC business transactions and trust me, I'm not making very much doing it. It's a labor of love.

Just wanted that to be out there. If you don't trust my services or if you think I'm cheating you, don't do business with me. It's that simple. I have nothing to hide, and my feedback speaks for itself. Just don't want to waste your time or mine if you think my heart isn't in the right place. That's all :)

Oh and 99.9999999% of you guys do appreciate the service. No complaints here ^_^ Just wanted to let you know if that you don't like my service, nobody is forcing you to use it. You can tell me how to improve the service or if you find mistakes on the site, let me know and I can fix them. But if you think I'm out to cheat you, then it's a hopeless case because apparently I won't be able to convince you otherwise.
Yeah, even though I haven't been buying much through your service lately, I still
helluvagood, I'm still willing to do it. I can give you two options:

1) You pay in full, I give you the refund in 60 days.

OR

2) I give you half the refund up front, I keep the other half and we call it even.

Up to you :) Either way is fine with me. Please let me know what you want to do. Thanks!
refund in the 60 days sounds good to me
i'll let you know if i order from walmart ;)

Goomba how are you doing today? Just dropping by to let you know I got my first 2 games in today! (And left feedback xd)

Wow that sure seemed fast! I absolutely love the note :) With the dollar flucating so much lately (it was down to fricken 93 cents today booo) I'm not sure when I'll order again but after how great the service is I defanetly would use it again!
Well, not having a Wii would be a good reason not to get it :) Though I honestly recommend in the future you look into a Wii. Despite all the "waggle" hate you hear, there are actually some excellent games on the system. Maybe wait till Nintendo releases an HD Model. We all know it'll happen in the next generation of game consoles, and chances are it'll be backwards compatible.
That's exactly what I thought.

^ don't mean to take away from Goombomb's business, but NISA have re-introduced cheap shipping rates to Canada, so your order total would be 34$ US.

Glad to hear that Goomba, 100% satisfaction rate; not an easy task to accomplish. But you've done it! Keep up the great work!

telepathy, no hard feelings :) We know you'll come around again some time! As for Endless Ocean, I haven't played it myself (which is why I want to get the second one) but my cousins who had it liked it a lot and said it was actually a lot more fun than it sounded. The second one supposedly improves upon just about every facet of the original, so that's pretty cool in my book. For $10 or so it's definitely worth it (especially if you wanted a Wii Speak anyhow).

Gold_Guardian, thanks so much for the feedback. I do try my absolute best to get games out as soon as I get them in. Sometimes it's not possible (if you combine orders or if the mail is going slower or whatever) but we're almost back to same-day processing again. It's hard juggling website upgrades and shipping, but we're doing pretty good overall :) Thanks again!

Lockescythe, in this case jeffx is right. Ordering from them would be cheaper. For some reason they are charging me $10 to ship to the USA. Something must be buggy in their pricing system again.

Peroxide, no unfortunately we don't have any Microcenters. I believe they tend to be more on the west coast if my memory serves me correctly. I see them on deal sites always but never have been to one. Sorry!

Jbently, thanks man =) I'll do what I can to keep people happy. Thanks for everything.

CrushEm, I believe we are all sold out of Xbox Cards. I can still get you one for $37.00 USD total, but other than that it'll probably be a while before we get more at the $32.00 price. I haven't been able to get out and look for the Pinball game yet either. Just a quick question about it: Are you only interested in a complete copy (game/case/manual) or would you take a game only/generic case, no manual, etc. Let me know :) Thanks

Hey goomba, I've received both sets of headphones (order #845) and they sound great. I'll leave feedback as soon as I'm able (must be a member for 30 days) but thanks for being so chill.

Hey no worries, I might just bite @ $37. It's still $60 for XBL gold memberships anywhere I've seen (online at least) in Canada. I'll let ya know! No worries about not being able to get out to look for the pinball game, I know you're a busy man. I would prefer a complete game honestly, but if you're only able to find a gutted copy, that's just fine as well, I would just like to pick it up a copy to play in between other games. Thanks for the quick reply.

xanavi, you're quite welcome. I've never got that complement before. I like being chill =)

CrushEm, alright my friend. I shall try to find you a complete copy. If not I'll pick up the gutted one, but I'll see what I can do. I have to go install a printer for someone now. Talk to you soon!

Thanks for letting me know Kalis. I always am happy to hear when items get to you guys :) I'm going home now. It's snowing like crazy outside and my car (Toyota Prius) isn't so great in the snow. Wish me luck! Thanks and keep in touch.

Great news CrushEm! I managed to find you a near mint NEW (not sealed) copy of the Pinball Williams Collection ^_^ I will wait for your other item to get here and then I will invoice you for it. Thanks again!
For people who care, Gamestop US now have blazblue for $29.99 New, $24.99 Used for PS3/360.
OMG lucky i didnt get it from BB yet~
goomba if u havent ship how much would it be (PS3) :3
About $36 (includes fee + shipping) I'm guessing.
woo still cheaper than BB for brand new ^ ^~!
i hope gamestop USA doesnt have any scratch for their brand new items.

Thank you telepathy for the heads up~

Good news and bad news guys. My computer is DEAD. The RAM went bad and it won't stay on without blue screening nearly instantly. The good news is I am going to order new RAM and should be on my feet within the next couple of days.

Just so you know, this will slightly impact my GFC business so if you have a new direct request or package waiting to go out, just hang in there. I'm going to set up a temporary work station using my laptop but it'll take me a little time to transfer files from my old PC to my laptop. So just bear with me. I'll check in from time to time and will use my wife's computer a bit to message you here. Just hang in there. I have all my files still so I'll be back and running very soon. Thanks!

Hey Goomba,

I just placed a DR (Order Number: 1639974343).

My credit covers the cost of the items, but I still owe you some money for shipping. I also e-mailed you some amazon.com gift cards to cover shipping costs. Let me know if m math was right and if I still owe you money.

Cheers!

Edit - D'oh, just saw your post...

we all hope that you get your computer fixed asap :) good luck!

I just installed Office 2007 on my Laptop. I'm transferring over my huge PST files and my personal settings. Should have Outlook 100% functional in the next half an hour. Of course that won't help with my business software, but it's a step in the right direction. I will get everything working soon enough. Should only slow me down by a day and a half at most. Hang in there guys. Your requests aren't lost so no worries :) Thanks for understanding.

*BACK TO WORK*

Oh and this is probably a good time as any, but I'm planning to have a HUGE GFC Lowball / Auction sale. Anyone interested?

Sup Goomba,
Once again interested in buying some stuff but this time form a different source and with some uncertainty.By that I mean is well there's a store on Amazon.com where they sell trade-in games for damn good prices (Warehouse Deals) now the thing is they dont have a great track record so 50% chance of the item u get may not work.So the thing I was wondering if I do order a game from there could you maybe try out out yourself using one of your consoles (If you have one I assume you do :D) If it doesnt work just send it back to Amazon they will refund you and you refund me the price of the game I will compensate you for your hardwork and shipping :) If your OK with it let me know man.Looking forward to your reply

I know you say you usually check your UPS box on Wednesdays/Thursdays. Both my orders (mp3 players + headphones) seemed to have arrived at the same time, so I'm crossing my fingers you grabbed it in time  Would suck to wait an extra week but I'm just a bit OCD - in reality, it makes no difference to me except for the fact that it will be consuming my thoughts for an extra 7 days lol #-o

So you can bet I'll be obsessively checking the GYROS page until then

Telepathy, yup I have a lot of great items. Almost 200 games from the last couple of years that I haven't sold. I still have leftovers from when I ran my service only as an eBay store if you'll believe it. The Mrs. still wants me to clear up space in our home office and I'm desperately trying to come up with money for her to visit China this March or April, so I'm going to need money :) Hope you guys will see things you like!

TKO, sounds good to me. I have all the consoles and would have no problem testing them for you. Besides, Amazon has a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all their marketplace items so we should be fine. Let me know!

emjaymj, I will be going to the UPS store again tomorrow. I did pick up about 5 boxes but haven't opened them because of my computer fiasco. I'm going to work at my University job tomorrow, pick up the boxes, come home and visit my grandparents/mom again before she flies out, list some eBay games (need money for my wife's trip) and Saturday will be an all-day GFC/eBay day as I have the day off.

Once I get my laptop fully equipped with all my business software/website programs I will keep you updated again via GYROS. Thanks!

jeffx, that's the spirit :) I'm debating whether or not to do the lowball on CAG and on GFC, but honestly I'd prefer GFC only as it's more streamlined, automatically updated and supports all the things I like. It's not 100% functional but maybe by the time I list all the items it will be. Keep an eye out the first week of February as I'll have a lot more info then. Thanks!

count me in goomba bear!

i thought u were gonna have one at the end of 2009, but I guess u were overwhelmed by all the requests!

I been waiting for your huge lowball sale since last summer lol

Alright guys, I listed just a few games to get the lowball officially started. I'm going to have a TON of games, but this is just to get the ball rolling while I am repairing my computer and such. Keep in mind you have to be registered with GFC and once you are, you can use the same login for DR's, the auctions and soon the rewards system as well. Link is here:

http://gamesforcanada.com/lowball/index.php

Nothing too crazy, but the prices are right :)

PuppetYuber, yeah I was going to do one in 2009 but like you said I got crazy amounts of orders at the last minute. Not to mention I spent almost 100 hours (no lie) developing the new DR 2.0 system and new upgrades on the site. Lots more coming though. The site is still in BETA technically :) but we're progressing along rather well.

The new DR system seems to be running almost flawlessly now, so once I catch up to all the current orders I'll go back to working on the rewards system and really pushing the GFC auctions and such. Lots to come guys! Don't go anywhere ;)

Thanks for getting the ball rolling on some of the auctions telepathy :) I am going to try and make an output page that will show all the winners instantly at the end of the auctions this time. This will also help to organize who owes what and such. First I gotta fix my computer though lol.

I just added a brand new copy of Tekken 6 for the PS3 to the lowball auctions :) Thanks to the new system I'm working on, I am able to list new items (with their photos and descriptions) in under a minute. Take that eBay!

No problem, was just checking to see!

Regardless, it looks like a great service you have and hope to do purchase something through you in the future!

ragnar14, the reason they didn't is because they are eBay. They refused to innovate with any new ideas and keep taking away things that people do/did like about their service. They're still the best way to unload of a lot of things fast, but I wish every day they'd return to their roots as an actual auction system again some day. I guess I'll just have to create my own system from the ground up =P

Peroxide, thanks =) I will continue to build up and strengthen the service. Right now we only do our advertising with word-of-mouth and a lot of people tell me "I heard about you from a friend", so we must be doing something right ^_^ Thanks again!

Christ almighty goomba check your email awlej)@(#)($*@#$

EDIT: I've noticed lots of jibber jabber about some malarky in Goomba's service.

Motherfucker's sent me a giant gun, a t-shirt and soon a shit load of games so far. He's fucking solid.
