GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Myv, I do have a PSP 2000 (Silver model) in near mint condition. Feel free to make an offer on it. I haven't played it in ages. Thanks!

I'll send you a PM, you can take your time to get around to it since you have a lot to deal with before leaving (even reply me back after you get back from trip is fine). I just have a few questions I'd like to ask :) Thanks~
I can't wait for the new iPhone 4. The best thing its available just after GFC comes back.
Ditto. I can only imagine how many of these Goomba will be buying up, lol
Ditto. I can only imagine how many of these Goomba will be buying up, lol
The only problem is will they be unlocked.

Not sure about Goomba getting very many iPhones considering Apple disallowed people to buy more than two iPads; they will probably do the same thing when the iPhone4 releases...It'll be a first come first serve kinda thing lol..

road tripppp
Not that I care about Apple products (I hate Apple) but is the iPhone getting released early in the U.S. like they did with the iPad?
It's being released on June 24th in the US alongside 5 other countries. Canada is not included in those 5 countries...yes...we got backstabbed and yes it happens all the time :bomb:

But I have to do this :applause: iPhone4 is a remarkable little device!

It would be more remarkable if it actually had a d-pad and buttons!!!

Wow though five different countries and Canada isn't included. What else is new...we always get the short end of the stick.

I would assume though the iPhone4 would already cost more money then the U.S. since that is always the way. I am surprised though the price increase for the iPad in Canada wasn't as high as I thought it would be though (I was expecting the most expensive iPad model to be $999CDN).

Gosh, all this iPhone 4 talk is really exciting me! The problem is, as many of you said, there are a lot of limitations to these and they are typically sold only with the phone plans as far as I know (with a limit of 2 per customer/household typically)...so yeah I'm not sure how we'll be swinging that one, but time will tell!

Whoa, the iPhone 4 was official today? Wireless N and 5 mp camera? Im digging this little thing -- I'm still using a shitty old school non-fancy absolute barebones phone as I have been holding off on an iPhone until the data plan prices were not retarded in canada (and when my contract ends).

I'm assuming, though, that the $199 price point is gonna be on a 3 year plan (or whatever the $ amount they choose to give canadians)

hiyo goomba dunno if u missed my post, just checking up on my order sigh.....
gimme a shout if u know anything thanks.

PS i hate target, if only i could shoot it =p

Hey Goomba. I hate to bother you with this but I'm moving in the next few weeks and I still haven't received my FFXIII (PS3) game I ordered a few weeks ago (package forwarding from Kmart). As a matter of fact, the GYROS page says "Shipping soon" (order #1239). Could you give me an update on that? Thanks!

Does this mean they are going to change the iPod Touch to go with the new iPhone model?

I don't need an iPhone but some of those features on a Touch would be great.

I'm staying up until 1:00 AM today, getting up at 8:00 AM tomorrow packing till 1:00 PM tomorrow and then leaving for 5 days. So I will do my best to get as many single games and smaller orders out tomorrow. If your items haven't been paid for yet, it's unlikely they'll go out tomorrow but you can try. I will update GYROS at 11:30 PM tonight :)

Thanks!

Just to let you guys know, I've shipped another 14 or so items. I'm going to be getting up around 8:00 AM and packing till 12:00 PM so that'll be another 4 hours. Going to get as much done as possible during that time :) I'll be bringing my laptop with me on the trip to work on the site in my down time and to send invoices for new PF orders, but will be largely away from the Internet (need some time to relax after the chaos that was May).

The good news is we are almost there. I will resume DR's next week and probably will have PF's fully running by July 1st. Keep in touch and I will do my best to get us out of this backlog once and for all ^_^

Goomba, are you able to send out my PS3 Red Dead Redemption before you head out on your trip?

Its a little mind boggling for me to look at the GYROS everyday and see it say "shipping soon" for the past few weeks but it doesn't ship. :(

Let me know please!

Thanks!

Yes, yours will be the last package for the CAGs that I'm able to get in. When I come back Sunday I will be shipping out the rest as I don't officially Re-Open the site until the 18th. Thanks!

Goomba~ You'll be able to check my PM about the PSP slim on your trip right? I got a quick question for it as well, is it the Daxter LE Silver?

:bouncy: awesome Goomba! I'm looking forward to our next business deal :)

Thanks,
Yeah Myv, I checked it but didn't have time yet to respond. I will write back to you with as much details as I have. Thanks!
NP just wanted to make sure you got the PM, take your time :D have a nice 5 day trip + break from work (sorta) :bouncy:

Hey Goomba,

I know your super busy but was hoping to get an update before you leave, I paid my invoice on the 1st of June and it still hasn't showed up on the gyros page yet. Has my order been shipped? Will I receive any tracking info or anything?

Thanks,

Invoice#1267
Order#1996092918

Guys I'm in Maryland officially now until Sunday. I brought a few packages with me that I didn't get out before I left. I brought my digital scale, printer (new in box), laptop and all that good stuff. So once those few are out then I won't be able to ship any more until Sunday/Monday-ish.

Stryk3r, I haven't added any of the newer orders to the GYROS so no worries. I'll do that when I have some down time, but visiting friends and such right now so I don't have a lot of it at the moment. At night though when we go to our separate rooms and such I'll try to add all the newer ones to the list. Thanks :)

Thanks penetratingpincer, I'm trying to :) It's great to see my friends and have some down time. I just wish my mind wasn't so pre-occupied with so many issues ^_^ I will try my best to relax though. A mini-vacation is supposed to be fun after all haha. Keep you guys updated!

Omg, I received the watches today in the mail! I wasn't expecting these to arrive until next week, talk about quick! Thank you so much Goomba, they were packaged perfectly and look to be in perfect condition.

And the best part? They got through customs and I wasn't dinged any taxes! Thanks so much, I was afraid they would open the package and look at the price tags on the watch.

A very satisfied customer, expect another order once you lift the TSD mode

I just got Super Mario Galaxy 2 in the mail. Wow extremely fast shipping I wasn't expecting it until late next week. Thank you Goomba for the quick shipping and the item was packaged perfectly. I am also glad the case didn't have those recycling cut outs (which isn't controlled by you but a bonus).

I also loved the note you included adds a personal touch to the transaction.

Only problem is I got my Red Dead Redemption rental in the mail today and now I don't know which one to play first . Thank you though again Goomba!

Enjoy your trip.

Just got my games today Goomba, good work as usual! However I didn't receive Bayonetta, can I assume for whatever reason it'll be delivered seperately? Thanks!

Hmm my FF13 still hasn't shown up (shipped on May 27th)

It's never taken this long and we're only about 6 hours away, too. I already got a couple things from amazon.com that I ordered after you shipped #1257..........

Blackric, what watches did you get? I've been looking at getting a new watch since mine is too big for my wrist now, and I wear it as a commodity (it's a generic steel casio watch that is losing it's finish that my Grandpa wore).

Hey guys, just to let you know I am spending my last day in Maryland today and will be leaving back for Connecticut tomorrow around 9 AM. When I get back my family is throwing me a little mini-birthday party and then I'll be returning home around midnight. Monday through the rest of the week I'll be finishing up the last of the unsent packages and around the 18th I will re-open the DR pages :) Thanks again for your support. I'll make sure to get as much done as possible ASAP when I return. I appreciate everything. Thanks for the updates on your orders!

Haha :) Thanks. My birthday's not actually till June 16th, but the family is going to throw it a little early so we can celebrate with my cousin whose birthday is also this week. Thanks again guys.

hey goomba, I know you're in TSD until the 18th, but I had a quick question for you! Have you had any experience shipping the Astro Mixamp to any of us Canucks? They have a duty-free sale on for Canadians right now, but they ship with UPS which carries with it pretty hefty brokerage fees. Thanks!

But would that ruin any kind of warranties or anything since Goomba might have to buy it and put it under his name as the original buyer?
But would that ruin any kind of warranties or anything since Goomba might have to buy it and put it under his name as the original buyer?
I could purchase it under my CC and just have it shipped to Goomba to his UPS box.

True, if you buy it with your own credit card then at least in theory it is covered under your name. It'll be covered either way, but just may require sending it back to me in warranty situations. But yes, I have shipped quite a few Astro Mixamps and audio equipment items. I'd be more than happy to assist you :)

Its the Citizen Skyhawk A-T with stainless steel band. I got it thanks to goomba via Jomashop.com

Here's the link to the exact model
http://www.jomashop.com/citizen-skyhawk-chrono-watch-jy000053e.html

Its MSRP is 650 USD in the states and 775 CAD here. Even with sale discounts at sears and other jewelery stores in Canada, it still doesn't come close to the price at Jomashop even if you include GFC fees + shipping. I must have saved 200-300 going with GFC on this order. The real kicker is that you don't have to pay any state taxes but of course you run the risk of getting dinged at customs which I fortunately didn't this time :D:D:D.

Setting it up right now and I love it! GFC is really good alternative for watch buyers cause we are getting shafted here in terms of mid-to-high tier watches. BIG pic, you should try one out if you get a chance at a Sears or something.

Oh, and the other watch that I ordered was a Solar+Atomic Casio G-Shock off Amazon.com. It has a plain design but the solar power and atomic timekeeping ensure I don't have to change a battery or set the time for it. Maintenance free!

http://www.amazon.com/Casio-GW5600J...r_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=watches&qid=1276407883&sr=1-3

http://www.amazon.ca/Casio-G-Shock-...=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=watch&qid=1276408026&sr=8-6

61 USD vs 101 CAD, piff, what a rip off!!

Also, happy Bday Goomba, hope you got presents lol!

They ship that one to Canada. Is it really cheaper to forward it?

The nice thing is starting July 1st, I can drive 30 minutes (and however long the border is) to Washington state and not get taxed on anything that can be used outside the states due to the way the HST in BC is defined.

But man, I need an atomic clock sync'd watch... But for me, even though analog watches look nicer, digital watches are way more practical.

Do you remember off-hand what the total cost would be, Goombs? Thanks!

Guys I'm back in Connecticut. Unfortunately it's really late and I have to work tomorrow morning (week off was nice, but now it's back to reality). I will be GFC'ing tomorrow night and throughout the week and as you know I'll be re-enabling Direct Request (DR) service on the 18th :) Thanks again. I'll try to get to all of your Emails and PMs tomorrow. There's quite a few of them as you can probably imagine. Talk to you soon!

Yo Goomb,

Normally I do not pester you with GYROs updates, but I was wondering if you sent my Zombies stuff out? I ask because if not, they will likely be shipped when the purse (hopefully it's arrived by now!) arrives. I want to know whether to be expecting 1 package or 2 (to tell my neighbour's how many to look for -- they often leave them in visible sight on my porch).

Well, technically with my brand new computer parts and stuff from Screwattack, it'd be 3 or 4, but still.
