There's one this weekend based on information from a manager I know. Anyone have good flips to transfer GS credit to Bestbuy?


Just wanted to clarify that these should be pre-owned games only. I can't verify but I wasn't given any info except of a B2G1.

UPDATE: PowerUp Rewards members should get an email stating early access to the B2G1 on 1/19.

I played the demo and hated the game play. But I'm coming for nastalgia, not to play a quality wrestling title.
 
All of these "sales" during the holiday season have left me feeling like I have all the video games I need. I hope its real though, every sale means better prices for all of us

nice i just hope my package arrives in time and with 3 good condition games. i bought phantasy star portable 2 for the psp x 3 copies off gamestop this morning as its going for a decent penny. i also just bought 2 copies of radiant historia which is going for crazy amounts soooo going to be utilizing this sale.

The storyline's worth a playthrough on TNA. I couldn't play more than an hour of AAA though.

Good luck on those PSP games. I ordered the Legend of Heroes games (1-3) and got three generic cases/no inserts/manuals. I had cases/manuals for 1-2 though, so it wasn't a biggy. 3 is pretty expensive on ebay, so I was glad to just get it cheap.
 
I have some credit, so this is tempting, but there really isn't much out there that I want. All I want is UFC Undisputed 3, Mass Effect 3, and Soul Calibur V. Someone do me a favor and release those three tomorrow and let there be foolish people who trade them in so I can snag all three in a B2G1? K, thanks.

Are there any good $20 bundles I can pick up? I'll be picking up Sims 3: Pets (don't judge me) if I can find that pre-owned, but I have no idea what other two games to get.

It's $27 used. I'm tempted to get it with the B2G1. Saw a Director's Cut at one store.

If any one wants to split up 3 games, I'm up for it.

I just picked up about half-a-dozen PS2 games from a GS out in the middle of nowhere that I happened to be near like 2 days ago. Now, I've heard of people returning/re-buying games when a b2g1free rolls along withing the 7-day return window, but has anyone ever done that at a DIFFERENT store than where they purchased the games?

Probably won't be even worth it, as my local store doesn't even sell PS2 games anymore, but if its possible I'd like to try and save the $6 (with no gas cost to factor in :D)

Unless the csr are jerks, I doubt they'd have a prob doing the return/rebuy. The PS/2 game UPC should still be in their system since YMMV among GS stores are rare for pricing. And since the total value of those games are low to begin with, I can't imagine why there would be a problem.

normally they don't have this sale until april at the earliest

i have such a huge backlog and i really don't "need" any new games, but i'm a sucker for a buy 2 get 1 free, i'm just shocked they are already having one
 
Perfect timing with the Dragon Age UE sale.

I'll be picking that up along with Saints Row Double Pack and something else, which I don't know what yet.
 
Anyone know how accurate gamestop's in stock checker is? seems like every used game I've checked is available in every store around me.

I've had AAA once before so I know what I'm getting into with it. I already played through the Heel story line and found the game bare able.
 
Thank god this was posted before I went there. Just got paid and was about to pick up 2 games I've been checking out. Hopefully I can find something worthwhile to get for free.
 
Its weird how it doesn't even show my card discounts till I'm past the shipping phase. Ah well still got the discount (bought some shitty $10 games to fill out my collection)

It sucks that PUR members get first dibs. Everything I wanted online just got sold out from yesterday till today.

Happened with 3rd birthday PSP and LOTR war in the north PS3. I won't be able to make it to a local store over the weekend so I'm limited to the online selections. Just got to work with what they have.

I so would like to know this too! I'd get Modern Warfare 1 and 2 along with some other game, maybe the first left 4 dead.

I'm still kind of hesitant to jump on these older titles because I have a feeling there will be a Modern Warfare trilogy/triple pack type thing in the future. Left 4 Dead will be more than likely a single player experience for me.
 
Guys the external 360 drives are no longer on sale are they? They definitely aren't online but if they still were in store, it would be great.

Probably not. The discount on those games was a promo and not true price drops. b2g1 is its own separate promo. Two discounts rarely apply to the same transaction.

These are the non-promo prices, or what you would pay with B2G1F. I may off a couple of $ but that should be pretty close to correct.
 
My PUR paid membership expired, but I still get the emails with deals, and they still ask for my card to put points on it when I go in there. Do you know if I still get the early access?

Asking if it stacks with the sale on shooters is extremely easy to find out. I added 3 copies of MW2 to an order and it was $37.77 which is $12.59 times three. Then it removed 10% off for $3.78 and then it took $11.33 off.

So yes it does work, took me all of 30 seconds.
