Just to confirm what someone mentioned before in a previous thread, Gamestop is having a B2G1 sale on Xbox games. Might be starting to try and clear them all out? Who knows. Not sure if this is a local YMMV or not, so check for yourself.

Yea whoever said that they got it to stack got lucky they received an 20% override. Did not stack today.
 
Oh by the way, picked up Glolden Sun (GBA,) Morrowing GOTY, Mega Man Anniversary and SW: Battlefront 2. Might return the xbox games though. I am still debating seeing 200+ credit on my edge card or the 3 games. Hmm

Dude, those games are totally worth it, especially if you haven't played them.
 
I have played them before and would agree that those are some of the best the Xbox has to offer. Just got done reading that Mega Man Anniversary on Xbox is better than the PS2 and GC versions and I do like that Morrowind comes with the expansion packs. Only thing is that it doesn't have the patch capacity of the PC version. I think I will keep them although I really need to take a break from buying games so I can finish my backlog ^^ Only thing I must get now in the future is my Fallout 3 CE woot!
 
thanks for the tip i was able to pick up fable and panzer dragoon orta and i got a random game cuz i didnt find any others tat i wanted :)

Not sure. As mentioned earlier in the thread though it seems like GS is trying to get rid of their Xbox games which means that if anything the deal on Xbox games will only get better.


I picked up Mortal Kombat: Deception, The Warriors, and Thief: Deadly Shadows today for $16.20 after promo + EDGE

Argh I need to check my GS for Republic Commando. After watching gametrailers Star Wars retrospective I've been looking for that game. If your monitoring the thread how much was RC?

I picked up six games today. My buddy only has an Xbox and his birthday is Sunday so I took him with me and had him pick out three games. I bought three for myself as well. For a total of 20 bucks I got:

How do you do that? I asked them to do that and they said they couldn't. Good news is that they seemed to bump up their exchange period to 30 days, though returns are still 7.
 
It's hard to pass up deals like this. I have racked up more than 30 games so far and and spent around $140. That would be 2 new PS3 games. Now I just have to find more time. )
 
On the topic of Xbox games did anyone see that Madden 09 is coming for the original xbox? Man I thought development had stopped completely for Xbox over a year ago.

I went by and raped Gamestop today..RAPED EM! 4 locations in my city. I cleaned them out and bought pretty much every good game that has ever been released on the Xbox. Dozens of solid shooters, RPGs, platformers etc for 90%+ below retail price...fark yeah!

I won't be getting a PS3 or 360 till at least 2011 now. Last gen gaming is the only way to go ;)

I guess Fatal Frame 1 + 2 & Ninja Gaiden Black fit it perfecetly since everything else on Xbox is multiplatform or an average "exclusive" at best.
 
I've gone crazy on this sale. I can't even look at a spending $60 for a new game when I can pick up 15 or more for the same price. I'm glad I kept the Xbox. Thanks again for the heads up.
 
Checked a few GS today, sigh, I would buy some games but they're disk only, well, better luck at the next few GS I'll hit on Monday.
 
I was thinking, theres some speculation that they might be getting rid of their xbox stock, but I dont think they've ceased on recieving trade ins, which is what usually happens when they dont want anymore stock, as seen with the dvds, and before that, the PS1 generation. I hope that they do in fact start going B2G2 eventually, but all of the good games will probably be cleared by then.
 
I'll have to start thinking pretty hard about which games I still need by then since I feel I have the top games that interest me. Wish returns went passed 7/30 days heh.
 
Plan to score a copy of Stubbs and 2 other ones today *crosses fingers* would pick up the first 2 halo's but the wife is 100% against those games.
 
there is a grand opening sale for the week going on at my newest gamestop, and it is ALL used games b2g1FREE! It started monday and i just came in on thursday. If i only had known it earlier... but i hella took advantage.

They even let you bring over games from other store and give you a price adjust for their promotion. And the people there are awesome definately.

And finally it wasnt easy but i manged to find both FFTactic A2 and FFIV! USED!! the FFIV was obviously stolen because when i started it up there were no saves, the game was initializing a save slot, anf the cover was excellent. I had to go to 2 different GS in different directions, but its worth it that i got both of them for free! ahah!

She just has seen a lot of our friend's boyfriends spend all day playing it and not caring about them. You kind of can't keep up a relationship if all you do is sit around and play games with your friends. Not saying I would but I was never really into those kinds of games.

My TRU has about 50 sealed copies for $5 before 20% off, so $4.

Things to consider:



- The disc quality must be high and must have both artwork and manual, as per Second Spin/FYE's usual requirements for trade. Games that meet the FYE criteria are difficult to find in most GameStops.

- To get the best deal, you would hope to find games of the same/similar cost at a single GS to get the B2G1.


- Second Spin prices change daily it seems. This list had 11 other games (Grooverider, Myst III) that were equal or higher TiV, but then dropped to $2 or below overnight.
