Black Ops used is sold out for xbox 360?? wow..and all the crappy games i want are OOS as well..good job...GS...good job...smh
Everything is OOS, I wouldn't be surprised if the entire X360 section was grayed out by midnight, it's absolute madness.
also 2 of them had a redeem code for the classic pack. i tested one and it worked! i'll give the other to my friend with his copy and trade the third copy in.
The copy I exchanged for in-store also had a classic pack voucher, sadly mine seems to have been used already. People that use them should at least get rid of the insert so we don't get our hopes up.

Had to hit two different store, but got the manual for RDR and new discs for DR:2 and Fallout New Vegas. New case and slipcover for Vegas as well. People at both stores agreed the Dead Rising disc should never have been sent out in the state it was in- if only the people in the warehouse knew that. ;)
For the life of me, I cannot fathom how a $52 order with free shipping would incur an estimated tax of $7+.

There isn't a sales tax rate that high, in the US, that I can find.

I sometimes wonder why they list a bad sales tax amount and then correct it when the item is shipped.
They estimate tax based on the price of 3 games. You will only be charged tax on the 2 you pay for, though.

2 of my games had generic boxes, but they still had the actual boxart/manual...they were the games listed at T25 on my order so I am gonna assume T25 means generic boxes. 2 games were Blackops and DK. Other games came complete and in fabulous condition
so far my gamestop order
cod black ops came complete
naruto uns2 came complete
new super mario bros came complete
resonance of fate came complete
fallout new vegas generic case
tales of vesparia generic case and doesn't work
not too promising for me since 2 of the 3 I ordered were New Vegas and Vesperia, lol. Whatever, will swap at GS if they come generic and broken.

Mine are the complete opposite. I got 2 copies of New Vegas and both came complete. The disc tho look scratchy and these wierd rings on it.

Got my six today.

3 of them were decent. All cases / manuals.

Dragon age origins came with the collectors edition version but the inside of the circle on the disk is.cracked. I think it played fine. I wonder if I should keep it.

Two.generic cases with one having the box art. Neither with manuals. One of the two games is.in horrible condition.

Im going to the store tomorrow and hopefully they'll work something out.

Edit: One of the "decent" games don't work.

I advise you all to at least test each game individually.. regardless of it's appearance.

So I made an additional order and BAM!! Does anyone know what triggers this message?

Thanks to the 50% trade-in bonus, I traded in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for an in-store copy of Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes and got $.51 back in credit. I never want to deal with Gamestop in this fashion again. Aside from that, I still need to find a way to get artwork for my copy of Resident Evil 5: Gold.

Ouch, I am sorry, I just checked and they don't have gold at all. :(

Thanks for the gesture. I actually checked there before I checked the local B&Ms. One store supposedly had used copies, but when I went there they said they didn't have any, or they were also in blank cases.

Perhaps the T25 seems to indicate a generic case, but it still doesn't make total sense. My shipping confirmation had a T25 next to Heavy Rain and Black Ops.

Heavy Rain came in a generic box, disc only. Oddly enough, the game title on the box says T25 also.
Black Ops however, came 100% complete.

I also had ordered Twilight Princess for Gamecube. The game came with flawless case and a mint manual. Perfect! Then as I took the disc out of the envelope and gave it a closer look, I notice the disc says "Wind Waker" and not "Twilight Princess". WTF! GODDAMMIT GAMESTOP! :bomb:

I sure hope they don't give me a headache when I take it into the store.

So forgive me if I missed this in the posts, couldn't find info on it. My cart isn't allowing for FEB2G1 and CAG16 to stack, it just does one or the other. How is it that everyone else gets this to work?

They no longer stack.

It depends on the employee, I've had employees that just handed me the other case and manual and told me to have a good day. On the other hand I've had employee's that took 20 minutes in the computer to "swap their inventory" which makes no sense to me. Its not like the manuals or even the discs for that matter have a specific number on them that makes them case specific. All of the used copies of fallout 3 have the same barcode so why they feel the need to do it is beyond me.

Does anyone know how Gamestop handles games that are backordered? I ordered three games the other night - all three were listed as in-stock when I added them to my cart, and I checked out a few minutes after adding them. I got an e-mail today stating that only one game had shipped, so I checked my order status, only to find that two of the games were backordered. One of the games, God of War : Chains of Olympus, I could see selling out while I was ordering, but the other game was Champions : Return To Arms, a 6-year old PS2 game that still sells for $20. I can't see there being a mad rush to get that one, and I'm concerned that they won't get it back in stock.

I bought Bad Company 2, Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands for a grand total of 51.60-something

Not bad considering I got a $50 Gamestop gift card by just taking surveys n' shit.

What site did you do the surveys on to get a $50 giftcard.

Note that it's not a referral link.

It took me a year to get 2 $50 gift cards though so it's gonna take a while. Only protip I can give you is to check everything it asks you (like what consoles you own and what types of beverages you drink) that way you have more chances of getting into surveys. Some surveys will give you 20 points if you qualify (the biggest one I've done gave me 80 points) and if you do not qualify for the survey you'll get 2-3 points.

Also you have a chance of getting into 'prototype' products. Like I got into this new soda survey and they sent me a bottle of soda to try it out ( I won't disclose what brand though sorry :) ) and I just got into this survey and they're going to send me some gel body wash lol, but hey: If it's free I'll take it

Either way it's free and it works.

Just be patient and make sure to check your e-mails daily.

I was going to bite on this, but I'd rather just wait for an in-store B2G1 sale. By that time, I'll be done with some of the games in my backlog.

Everything worked out(kinda) for me in the end. Ordered 12 games in total and the first six have already showed up. Of course, all of them are missing artwork and instructions and are heavily scratched but that's par for the course. Now to find a store in town to replace them all, good luck to me.

I really don't know how some of you guys get complete games in good condition, last year I ordered around 100 games and at least 95 was disc only. The majority was scratched beyond recognition and/or didn't work. Two buddies of mine have even worse records than that. Ah well, at least they ship fast....

They'll ship out what they have in stock, then the other games as they replenish

If you buy recent releases (Black Ops, Reach, Grand Turismo 5, etc) then you most likely will get a complete game. If your purchases consist mostly of PS2, DS, gamecube games, xbox1, then good luck getting a game with booklet and artwork.

What is your definition of heavily scratched games "beyond recognition"? They shouldn't work if they are that bad. Just go to the store and they will exchange the games and let corporate know about it.

All 3 of mine were marked defective (2 Assbros and 1 dead rising 2)

I went to swap them out in store, and they didn't have stock. Instead just traded in the assbro and dr for 56 which was what I had paid for all 3

Yeah I did that last time when they had the buy a new game get 50% off a used game. Go AssBro for like $16-17, no store had it in stock near me so I just traded it in for $32

Last time I checked, Champions: Return To Arms was a sought after game with a decent resell value to it. So that's likely why it disappeared so quickly.

i keep thinking mine will be expired so i ended up redeeming $25 when i could've been more patient and get the $50 :bomb:

also, they said my membership will expire december 2010, and im still getting surveys in my email.

Just got my 2 Deadliest Catch and 1 EA MMA from the first day of the sale when everything was stacking. All 3 were in perfect shape, cases, manuals and games looked like new. They don't seem to be resurfaces, either...

Got my order:

NBA 2K11: Game looks a little scratched. Included original case with NBA sticker and instructions.

Fallout: New Vegas: Disc looked good but no original case, instructions, or artwork.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: Good disc. Included original packaging (Ubisoft's eco-cases).

Ok so my order shipped a while ago, and i've been tracking it with the tracking number gamestop emailed me. But when I go to the website, it still says "pending" for all 3 games, and allows me to cancel the order. It's already shipped. I don't want to be charged twice, or have the games shipped to me twice. Should I cancel the order online?

Got my order yesterday -

Deadliest Catch Sea of Chaos 360 (x2) - Complete but slightly damaged artwork
Fallout New Vegas PS3 - Complete with slipcover
Red Dead Undead Nightmare PS3 - Complete
Marvel Super Hero Squad Infinity Gauntlet PS3 - Complete with unused Capt. America code
Clash of the Titans PS3 - Complete
They'll ship out what they have in stock, then the other games as they replenish
What's odd is that both games are still listed as in-stock and can still be ordered. You'd think they'd have updated them by now. I'm really concerned about getting Champions - there's no way to know how long it's been out of stock or how many people ordered it ahead of when I did :|

Wow I musted been very lucky till now.. first time I have ever got current gen games without art/manuals.

DarkStar One (360) - No case or Manual
DarkStar One (360) - case and manual fair condition - rip in case plastic
Enslaved (360) - Excellent condition

Sadly the DarkStars were gifts so i'm gonna have to head to GS and at the very least find one with a case/manual.

Ordered a bunch of PSP games... about 10, only 2 came in box with manual, rest were disc only.

Picked up two wii games and they came complete.

Last month for my PUP Pro so... yeah. Not renewing.

My orders arrived today:

:ps2: Yakuza - complete
:ps2: Yakuza 2 - disc only
:ps3: Madden 10 - complete

:360: Assassins Creed Brotherhood - complete
:360: Fallout 3 GOTY - complete
:ps3: Yakuza 3 - missing manual

All the discs look pristine, but there don't seem to be any marks that indicate they were resurfaced.
I wish you luck, it's really hard to get a working copy of Yakuza 2 used from GameStop. Took me 3 copies to get one. Many others have had the same problem with the game. One of my copies was even broken in half in the middle. But the game's worth it, just keep on GameStop.
The disc is flawless looking and it played through all the movies up until you take control. Should I play it further to double check or is it good to go?

Got mine today.

:360:CoD: Black Ops - Missing manual, disk looks to be rebuffed
:ps3:CoD: Black Ops - Complete
:ps3:Castlevania: LoS - Collector's edition, complete. Some rips on the plastic slip cover.

:pS3:Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare - Complete, but disk is cracked on the clear parts. Going to exchange this.
:360:Ninety-Nine Nights - Generic case with artwork, no manual, looks to be rebuffed
:360:Fallout: New Vegas - Complete, looks to be rebuffed, still has a ring scratch.

Got my order today:

Kinectimals: Complete, looks brand new, including disc
New Vegas PS3: Complete, looks brand new
Vesperia: Generic case, disc looks fine but still gonna test it and hopefully swap out for a good case with art.

Guess I couldn't ask for much more gambling with gamestop.com. I'm happy.

Got mine today

Batman AA GOTY (PS3) Disc Only
Destroy All Humans Path of Furon (360) complete
Yogi Bear (Wii) complete

pretty happy with them. all the discs look like theyve never been touched. think i'll get BAAGOTY started later tonight.
