Q: Is this sale for new or used games?
A: New games only. In the past, there have been B2G1 sales on used items associated with Game Days, so keep an eye out for that.

Q: Will all of the games be "gutted" or opened?
A: YMMV. Some stores I have been to basically open everything up and dump it into the bins. Others will only open a few copies and leave the rest behind the counter. If you want a sealed copy, make sure to ask.

Q: Is this in-store or online?
A: Both.

Q: Will the store accept a print-out of the 10% off coupon?
A: YMMV.

Q: Does the coupon work for one item or the whole purchase?
A: It works on all Game Days items bought in a purchase.

Q: Is there going to be a B2G1 on used games and accessories?
A: As previously mentioned, there could possibly be one later, but as of now, nope. There is only a B2G1 on used PS2 games when you buy a new PS2 system.

I'd print it on glossy paper, sometimes they're picky about coupons, you need to try to hit them early in the sale before they see too many of them.

Last year, most Gamestops did gut the games.. mine had the games gutted and then put a Gamedays sticker that was really tough to get off over the opening in the case...

Anyone play Worms Open Warfare? Seems like it's becoming a tradition to get a Worms game in the Gamedays sale. ;)

was hoping for some older titles to reach the 50% mark man, 2006 titles some noting should sell loads, why couldnt GS/EB do it xD

Sadly, I think only Final Fantasy 1 and 2 will get the 50% off treatment. The other higher profile games will most likely only get $10 - $20 bucks off if the trend of last years sale continues.

yea. they have the right to refuse the refund though.
 
So I think in the previous thread it was said that you can't buy this week and return/rebuy during gamedays to get the lower price? Anyways, great list of games, better than I expected this year.

Unimpressed. Only thing that interests me is Valkyria Chronicles if it hits $30. I might consider Iron Man and Hulk if under $10.

I was going to buy the MGS Collection at Gamestop today. Good thing I waited. Hopefully the discount for it will be good.
 
for those of us that actually LIKE UMD's lol... tht's a great list. a few good deals, doubled with teh tiered trade in and stackable edge card and 10% off coupon, you could really score some swag those days.
 
that juiced 2 game for the PS3 should never have been released. It's framerate is in the 20's or below from the demo.
 
There's some decent stuff, although the 360 selection is pretty bad.

I might pick up Phantasy Star Portable depending on how much it is, everything else good on there I already own.

There's usually a code at the bottom of the coupon by the barcode someplace. You SHOULD be able to enter that in online when prompted for codes.

However, if you're thinking of using SAVER for free shipping on this sale as well, the codes may NOT stack.
 
Even though I have all the Metal Gears I would gladly buy the Essentials Collection just for the artwork and a MGS1 that isn't scratched. Hope its $20 or less :D

My store only had a single copy of Valkyria Chronicles and I bought it in January, wonder if they'll get more.

Overall nothing else, I was hoping for a BD remote for the PS3 (The official one) too bad.

I think last year they seemed to get more copies of all the games in.

I'll definitely be picking up Valkyria Chronicles, and possibly a few others from this list depending on the prices.

You don't got to be a dick. I already HAVE SF4. I was hoping there would be GOOD games like Gears of War 1, not junk movie based games.
 
Just a quick question, since I have never ordered from GS online, do they ever send you gut copies for new games? lol, that would just be wrong ~_~
 
Hm, might look into picking the Namco Museum set, and maybe Stuntman or Chrono Trigger if they're marked down enough.

They got a great selection of PS2 and DS titles this time around.

Ha, I picked up Worms Open Warfare 2 last year for the psp. I guess that sold so well that they decided to put up the first one for sale.

Also, keep in mind that they also keep dropping the price on games that are left behind in a couple weeks. I doubt some of the higher profile ones will, but could get even an even better discount if you wait a little bit.

valkryia chronicles for 50% off turns me on. also, the PS2 collections are excellent! DMC and MGS are all worth its money even without the 50% off. I imagine those are gonna fly off the shelves immediately. Then there's chrono trigger, which i consider easily one of the greatest RPGs of all time....oh man, please let there be more sales.

Thank god that list sucks. Everything I would of wanted I already have. I'm completely broke as it is (stupid car fixes lately) and its nice that this sale isn't going to make anymore money fly out of my wallet.

Only thing I might bite on is DMC collection is its $15.
