Gamestop Gameboy & GBC games 75% off no longer includes DVDs

Deal in title starts tomorrow. Not sure if it's all stores, but but the manager at the one by me said it should stack with edge- he also let me hold about a dozen dvds (ATHF box sets will be like $3 after all discounts) Happy Hunting-

I checked Gamestop... The only game they had was some Mary Kate & Ashley title. Even though everything else has been cleared out no one wanted that for 75% off.

Found a copy of Pokemon Blue. Was 75 cents, but used the Edge Card and got it brought down to 45 cents.

The place that had it had a TON of copies of Zelda DX, Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Crystal and Pokemon Pinball.

You should clean them out. At this point, people have had more than enough time to get these clearance games. In other news, I've been playing Zelda DX for the first time, God I love vintage Zelda...
Have any of you guys searching for Gameboy games come across an extra Mega Man: Dr Wily's Revenge? Shockingly, when I was searching for the five Mega Man Gameboy games this summer, the one that should have been the easiest to find was the only one I couldn't find. If someone has an extra and would be willing to trade or sell it to me, I'd very much appreciate it.
I have an extra copy from this sale. What do you have to offer. Not interested in money, but definitely have plenty of things I'm looking for from this clearance...

my store doesnt sell these games, they havent since as far as I can remember lol.

anyone know if the buy 1 get 2 free or whatever is still going on with the DVDs?

Went to the biggest Gamestop I've ever been in last night. Tukwila, WA. They had two copies Mary Kate & Ashley Planner. I left them.

Yo Tsukento could you grab any extras of those pokemon games and I'll trade or buy from you. Also when you guys go for these gb/c games are they in the main store part, or in the back? Because my stores have gba games in the main store part, but they say they still have gb/c games. So I'm guessing they must be in the back. Is this the case at ya'll stores?

You should ask them if they have them. One of the stores I went to over Christmas didn't have any out for display, but they had huge bins with about 100 titles each behind the counter. Also, I am SO PISSED that I didn't have time to make it to this store when I was home for Thanksgiving. I ended up getting about 30 titles there, but they had none of the good games I remember seeing in their store locator. The employees told me someone who owns a pawn shop came in the week before and bought about 100 of the best games :bomb:

I missed out both Super Mario Lands, Crystalis, duplicate Dragon Warrior games, and a few others I was really hoping to find that I can't remember off the top of my head. Oh well, at least I got Pokemon Pinball there, because that game is even more fun now than I remember it being when I borrowed it from my cousin like 8 years ago.

Is it possible to send these games to Canada:

-Donkey Kong land
-Super Mario Land
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:Fall of the foot clan
-Star Wars
-Asteroids
-Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2
-A Bugs Life
-Tarzan
Yo Tsukento could you grab any extras of those pokemon games and I'll trade or buy from you.
Sure thing.

If anyone else is lookin' for 'em, just drop me a PM of which ones you're looking for and I'll scoop 'em up.
Okay I'll ask them and, you can look up gb/c on the website and use the store locator?
Yes, the store locator is a good start, but keep I've experienced disappointment several times over. Something with their inventory system where a store will ship off their stock but the inventory won't reflect that. So call the store first and make sure they actually have the games. Several stores near me have virtual gold mines of rare games, but in reality haven't had a GBC game in months.

I was only able to find 4 gb/c games on the website. Out of those 4 there were 2 of the games in stores near me. So I'm thinking those 2 stores are prob. where all the gb/c games got dumped off at. So I guess I'm just going to have to check them out. Anyone found a game boy color in stores?

Yes, and it was the only one within 60+ miles of me. It was $2.50. :D

It absolutely is! Many of the major shipping services including the United States Postal Service, UPS, Fed Ex and DHL all ship to Canada. ;)

Nabbed a few additional games I spotted:

-Metal Gear Solid ($1.25)
-Lufia: The Legend Returns ($2.50)
-R-Type DX ($0.75)
-Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons ($1.25)

I already have these, so I figured some CAGers might be interested. Going to also pick up what's left of the remaining Pokemon games.

If anyone spots either Megaman II, IV or V for the Gameboy at a gamestop with this clearance, please send me a PM and we'll work something out, I'd be greatly appreciative.
might pick up golden sun for GBA this weekend...man $7.99 * 85% = INCREDIBLE DEAL (or $1.19 hehe)
gba games are not part of this. just original game boy and game boy color games.

Yeah, I made that mistake a few weeks ago. Went into a local store, and thought, man this is a gold mine! I went home and did some research, went back to the store, and was this close to asking them if I could buy every single title they had (100+); then I realized that the sale only included the 5-10 rusty, dusty, crusty GB/GBC titles they had, and promptly left the store!
Okay I'll ask them and, you can look up gb/c on the website and use the store locator?
Yes. From the main gamestop.com page, click on "Used" in the upper right hand side, then select Gameboy (or Gameboy Color) from the list on the left.

It will show only a few crappy games that are available online, so scroll to the bottom and select "Show Backordered games".

Then you will see something like 500 entries, you can sort by title, high price low price etc. and step through and see if any of the games you want are available locally.

PM sent for Metal Gear Solid...

Never thought to try and buy just a GBC, and go from there for more stuff. A gamestop by me should have a GBC in stock, so I most likely am going to go by there.

Does anyone know if the clearance price is B&M only, or online as well? Trying to checkout on their site, and its not showing any sign of clearance at all.

If you go to "Trade In Values" on the left side, then go to "Click Here For Trade In Offers," you'll see it as the last special offered. "Get 75% off all used Gameboy & Gameboy Color games and accessories."

PM Sent to you for Poke games for my kids. Thanks !

Why does the title say " No longer includeds DVD's?" I was at a store and they had a stack of Blu-Rays and I asked the manger if the sale was still on and she said it is but she has to do it manualy. and this was a store I had not visited in over a year, so it wasnt becasue I was a good customer.
It doesn't reflect a clearance price on the site though.
Nope, you've gotta do the math for that one on your own >_>

The very fact that they had to do it manually makes this YMMV. The current DVD/Blu-Ray/HD-DVD deal is buy 1, get 2 free. All my stores have signs indicating this, and it's been posted and confirmed by others that that's how it comes up in the system.

If any of you guys pickup any games you already have or don't want, send me a message. I'm interested in about anything and my local stores have been slim. I'll most likely pay more then what you paid (these aren't gold but I'll make it worthwhile).

I'm pretty much holding on to what I grabbed so far, but I have these if anyone is interested: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2000, MTV Sports Pure Ride, Bill Elliot's Nascar Fast Track. I'll most likely never play those.

ive found a ton of games, but still have a few that im looking for. if anyone has an extra links awakening(preferably dx but i will take the original), oracle of ages, or oracle of seasons i have a lot of games from this sale to trade. pm me with what you are looking for and maybe we can work out a deal. i might also go for some mario, kirby, or final fantasy games if you have them. thanks.

to Sinnbox and J Bling Blang, there is no section for the clearanced, 75 percent off GBC games, so it looks like you will only find games by going into stores and asking if they have GBC games in stock. and then search thru what I'm guessing is a pile of cartridges some where behind the desk...

I stopped in my local GS, and they only had a few games I would even think about picking up to play. I grabbed some games that looked enjoyable, but I did at least get Megaman Xtreme 2.

I have got a bunch of stuff, including an extra copy of Link's Awakening DX and maybe an extra Ages. What do you have? What kind of deal can we cut?

I sent you a PM...what you got to trade for?
Well i got 9 copies of Oracle of Seasons if anyone wants one, pm me.
Dont tell me you found those all at one store....
www.gamestop.com :D
LOL, shoot. Not available anymore though. And everything is the "normal" non-clearance price. Only 41 games in stock online, though, and neither Resident Evil Gaiden nor Metal Gear Solid is one of those.

Ducktales for $2.99 isn't too bad, though I already have a couple of copies.

When you visit a Gamestop that sells GBC games, remember to ask if they have any others in boxes or stored in the store somewhere. I went to one in Wilmington, Delaware that only had about 10 in a bin, but I decided to ask. The guy looked under the counter and pulled out a huge bag of GB/GBC games. I went through and picked out a ton of games I've been wanting to find. I couldn't believe these games had just been sitting under the counter for months.

Just to name a few:
Pokemon Yellow, Crystal, Blue, and Silver
Link's Awakening DX ad Oracle of Ages
Lufia
Megaman Xtreme, Xtreme 2, III, IV
Game and Watch Gallery 1, 2, 3 and Super Mario Land 1, 2, 3

Momouchi you found a pokemon yellow. Im hoping I can find one. Found a GS that has most of the titles that are on the website so I'm going to check it out tomorrow. A side note anyone know where I can get a GBC or GBA? $40 for a used GBA at GS is hardly a deal. Maybe I'll find a GBC for $2.50 tomorrow.

a regular gba (not an sp) is 20 used at gs. a gbc is 10 used. the sp that is 40 is well worth it. so much easier to play these games with the backlight.

Anyone have any extras of these games?

Metal gear

Resident Evil gaiden

Pokemon Red,blue,gold,silver or crystal

ANY ZELDAS

Tomb Raider GBC

PM me, my local stores dont have any GBC games in stock.
