Yes, I think Family Video or someone had it for $29.95. The price will be lower Im guessing after Christmas. Im waiting for $20-25. I think seeing it during Christmas for $30-40 new isnt unlikely tho.
 
hrm. now when i click on pick up at store for the new MAG, it states "no stores within 100 mile radius carry it". maybe they're updating..?

Ah, but from corporates standpoint, the clerk likely did alot of things "right" by pushing pre orders and trying to re up the edge membership...it is likely better to just threaten a bad rating upfront if the clerk is wasting your time....something along the lines of 'hey man, I'm in a hurry and the longer this takes, the lower your rating will be on the online survey....if you get me out fast, I'll give you a good rating'

On topic - Games in store are often a little cheaper then online right? Like gamestop often charges a few bucks more for some games online then they do in store? I want to go in and do some of the in store trades, but its often so hard to find 3 games with matching prices...I am hoping the in store prices may at least make up for the extra effort.

It's usually the opposite. The online prices are lower. Many of the $49.99 games online will be $54.99 in-store and the $17.99 games will be $19.99.
 
Sorry if this was already asked and I missed it, but are these sales for all PowerUp Rewards members, or only "Pro" (i.e. paid) members? My "Pro" membership expired last month, and I haven't bothered renewing it because I don't really use it enough to bother.
 
Maybe a dumb question but I have several pre-owned items in my cart...mainly ps3 and ps2, but no reflection of buy 2 get 1..even at checkout, all it auto gives me is a 10 percent....nevermind, found the promo code....lmao

You can try calling customer service and seeing what they'll do for you, but from my experience their service is extremely hit-or-miss. I've gotten some very helpful people, but I've gotten more clueless and/or willfully-unhelpful people when I've tried in the past.

Well that's completely untrue. There's a link to the weekly ad right on the Power Save sale page, with the same prices.

IMO, the sale is incredibly weak. I'll be waiting til Sunday to dump some games and see if I can find 3 I want.
 
The used prices don't seem to have dropped online even when I select pick up in-store. Was looking to pick up COD:WaW for $9.99 used, not $19.99 used...

That's because the sale price isn't taken off until the item is rung up. These aren't price drops but actual SALE items so it won't show the sale price online.

I'm wondering about this too. I have my eyes on COD:MW2 that is $20 off a used copy according to the OP, but the online price doesn't reflect that. A new copy is $20 off though. Are used game deals in-store only?

Edit: I went through the checkout process and stopped when it asked for a credit card. No discount showed up for a used copy of COD:MW2 (PS3).

thats what i told them, and he replied "the ad states that online prices may not reflect in store prices"

just called my local gamestop, and yes, the prices are in store too. friggin CS.

I wasn't able to get any, and I actually went when the store opened, I had to go back to get a copy of MW1 exchanged since it wouldn't work and asked the manager if I could get Power Saving price off of the used copies (specifically RDR) and he told me no, it was new copies only.

Yes. Doesn't start till the 12th. Just keep in mind GS said they will pull the free warranty whenever they feel. But if it is going till then then it should stack.

Yes it is live now and stackable with B2G1 Free and the PUR Pro card.

EDIT: I'll pick up ICO since two stores near me have it.

Two slims + ICO for $100? Then sell a slim and ICO, and get a slim w/1 year warranty for $30 or so? Heck yaz!

It's never too late. Heck, I bought my Wii with the intent of playing all the Gamecube games I never got to play.
 
I've always wanted to try dj hero and I see that on the weekly ad it's only 49.99. Is this in store or online price? I called gamestop to double check...they said it's 69.99. I'm confused. And would you recommend getting this game? Any advice would be great! :)
