I tried my luck at the local GS. Sales rep. didn't find the offer on his computer or in the store's e-mails. He called another store and reported back to me that the prices were already 50% off...lame
 
Wish I could get these in store. I guess I'll try later on in the week, then just order online if I have to. I just want the GoW set and Killzone. Kind of want to dump off my Infamous copies and just get the collection as well.
 
wtf!!! If I combine hourney and ico collection, the coupon only applies to one game. I would need to order separate to get it to work. WTF????

How do you get saver to work? They want 24.99 or more to get free shipping, but it not what I want.
 
so now that the actual site has the deal posted... where the hell do we get the coupons? It seems like it's meant for all pur reward members but they didn't send out the coupons.
 
Managed to snag the following in separate orders with SONY50 and SAVER coupons:
Journey Collector's Edition ~ $16.30
Killzone Trilogy ~ $21.74
ICO/SOTC and Pac-Man Stress Ball ~ $18.46 (before anyone points out that I'm saving a couple bucks on ICO/SOTC: I originally put ICO/SOTC on hold at a local store, but I don't think they'll honor it tomorrow when I can pick it up.. but I still wanted it on the cheap, and it just so happens that a Pac-Man Stress Ball was on my gift list!)

Incidentally, if you are ordering one of the $20 ($10 after coupon) games and want $6+ filler instead of $3 shipping, there's some random stuff like :360: Too Human for $6, Android phone chargers for $3, and Pac-Man Stress Ball for $7. *edit* I posted a link to these, but it was broken by auto-referral code*/edit* Between a Pac-Man Stress Ball and :360: Too Human, I'll take Pac-Man.

The coupon says it works on one. I believe people say you can use the code more than once.

Make sure you're signed in. I tested it out just now and it wasn't applying even though it showed my account and card #. I went to order history, it prompted me to sign in, and then the discount applied.

I want to pick up Ico in store so I don't have to pay shipping....but I STILL don't see the coupon!

anyone know where it is? or how to get it to work in store?

The in-store coupon only shows up on the poweruprewards.com page under "My Offers." Not everyone has access to it.

Since they're advertising it on the main page now, it makes me wonder if they were supposed to send the coupon to everyone but screwed up the process.

That usually means you're banned from gamestop.com.

I'm 99% sure that's exactly what happened. That many who posted here who went in-store and reported employees had no clue about this promotion almost confirms it.
 
Yep, it only works online with the PUR#. I entered my brother's card number and the discount finally applied.

So anyone without an account that doesn't want to buy have a card, hit up a friend, family member, whoever. Be cheap. XD

I am a PUR+ member and the coupon was listed under my Active Rewards (go to power up rewards site, then under "My Account" you will see active rewards).

I went to a GS store and picked up all of the collections except for KZ and Journey. I even got 2 of the Ratchet collections and the coupon applied to ALL of them in one transaction.
I can also confirm that if you trade in games toward this purchase, you will get a 50% bonus. I traded in Yakuza 4 and Fallout Vegas (5.xx and 3.00 base) and got $16.xx in credit. Just make sure you do the trade ins in the same transaction as buying the sony collections. Otherwise the computer will just give you the tiered 10/20/30 bonus.
 
It doesn't work for me at all online. Entered 'sony50' and my powerup card # above that (have the free card - said 'your card has been applied'). Then added Ratchet Clank Collection and no discount was applied. Also, tried it with journey ce separately and still no discount.

PUR membership is already free, unless you're thinking of PRO.

Hmmm... Not sure about Journey. 2 hours long and looks slow, yet beautiful. Would've tried it at $14.99. Not sure at, almost, $17. Yes, yes.....the extra games, the soundtrack, and the 30 day PS+ subscription......

Cool. I wasn't aware of that. I buy most of my stuff online these days so I've not gone inside a Gamestop for a long time now. I used to have one of those cards, but that was from 2003 I think.

I'll nab a current card soon.

Guys, in order to get the link to work, you'll need to Quote someone and copy+paste the link. CAG tends to have problems with Gamestop's URLs in particular.

My store is out of Infamous and Journey was a gut. Ordered those online. Now off to the store to snag R&C & Killzone for myself and God of War & Ico/SOTC for my buddy.

A Gamestop employee showed me the screen of the upcoming offers and as others have stated it was officially supposed to start on the 5th. I guess now it's a matter of waiting until the 5th to see if they decide to send the coupon out to all members, do away with the coupon or just say "screw our customers, they won't mind". Knowing Gamestop we'll get screwed.
 
I wonder if this will work on used copies as well....I assume its only new...but it doesnt say anything. Plus when you click on the deal on the front page it shows you used and new copies...

It's really good. Contains Journey, Flower, and Flow, plus the soundtracks for all 3 in mp3 and some other goodies like avatars and themes. They're all short but really creative and different gaming experiences.
