They stopped doing the sticker on the coverart around here a while ago, but some games still exist that have them on there.

If they've been on there long enough the glue hardens to where it takes either a hair dryer to heat up the glue and soften it enough to peel off easily or some Goo Gone and risking stripping off a layer or two of the color from the coverart to remove them.
That's why if I do buy anything from them used I nitpick everything, even if there's a line a mile long behind me.[/QUOTE]
I just buy games from Amazon (and everything else from Amazon) now because its just more convienient to have things shipped to my door. Especially since you have to jump through hoops and wait a long time to get electronics at retail. I am not waiting 30 min for the employee to open the case only to have them then pitch me a million accessories and warranties when I can have stuff shipped to my door hassle free and at better prices from Amazon. I love shopping in retail, so I am not lazy, but I mostly buy clothing and even that is rare, as far as the cookie cutter products that every retailer carries I can usually live without them.. Since the retail clearances have all but dried up in my area and my Target's definition of a clearance game is about the same as Walmart's its just easier and cheaper for me to get stuff from Amazon or Ebay. Amazon also has a better selection of merchandise so I can find something that really fits in my needs instead of settling for the limited inventory of Walmart and Target and possibly getting a product that I am only half satisfied with.
It was cheaper for me to buy my games from Amazon during their Black Friday sales in bulk than it is for me to buy them individually, I don't "need" to buy games until next black friday but I will be making the exception for the Pokemon Black and White RPG's because Pokemon games are just worth it for me at full price.
I definitely nitpick everything in Gamestop, but if I am getting a 2.99 game that would cost me more elsewhere then I don't nitpick as much, but I also refuse to buy a game that does not come with case and manual, maybe for .99 if it was a title I really wanted to play.
If I was paying $60 for the latest Xbox 360 game and I was handed an open copy as new with a scratched disc from being in an envelope I would be livid (of course, I just wouldn't buy it).
I have a problem with the stickers on a used game, but I should expect that because the game is used, but to place stickers on the cover art of a new game is inexcuseable.
