Sounds like a contradiction to me, with "quality" and "Dollar Store" used in the same sentence.

I won't lie that place is very hit or miss. I've bought some things that were complete trash and didn't even work the first time out of the package, but those micro usb cables are my primary charging cables and work perfectly every time.

So my question is what are the chances they give you a free copy if you pre ordered and picked up your gears s console on friday?Have they been friendly to this sort of stuff or just plain shot you down and said no.

I think they should give you the game no problem. That way they don't have to deal with a return and rebuy. It's definitely worth a try.

Looks like they raised some prices to make it look like a better deal. I know they had PS3 Final Fantasy XIII for $4.99 not that long ago. Same with Deus Ex.

If you mean Human Revolution, its price on both consoles was raised when Mankind Divided released. I remember getting a complete PS3 copy for $2.99 last year.

Deus Ex Human Revolution & Directors Cut shot up a few days after Mankind Divided was released. The only thing that changed between today and yesterday was Halo 4 dropped from $7.99 to $4.99 normally.

Thanks. It's peacetime now, so I haven't had much material to work with. Which is a great thing as the thread can focus more on deals and such.

Yeah, I wanted to make a dirty joke, but I'll just say I know what you mean. I thought it was a typo and supposed to be Angel, but nope, its Angl.

Also, it's still $60 on the Bethesda store, and already sold out on the Think Geek store. So if you were hesitating, you should probably buy it before it's sold out. Well, I mean this is the female version, so I don't think many here are- alright nevermind.

DM will basically tell them not to bother him with dumb ass bullshit. He's not going to get anything changed in the area.

Even if nothing happens from that. One time In February I got a junior detective and she sent an email to corporate and to all the stores in the area claiming that I was a fraudulent customer.

So this sort of incident could really mess things up for someone.

Bottom line is this....if gamestop doesnt want this kind of action then they should just stop with the stupid preorder promos and straight up offer the extra trade in percentage. I mean in all honesty I would love to know the actual amount of people who actually pick up their preorders from these promos vs those who end up transfering the preorder to something else or just canceling it outright.
