On a side note, don't know if I just wasn't paying attention or if I sort of just glanced up and didn't give much thought. While I was in at GS today I noticed they have cases in the used games section for some of the game bundles as seen on their website. The bundles I saw for PS3 were these:

Well I guess I am going to be traveling even further to find a non-scary Gamestop near me.  Went in to trade in Sunset Overdrive and there is a flyer next to register with the pic of a guy who robbed the store on Dec 8th.   I understand why you might post that but it is also a bit weird to advertise that someone with a gun robbed the store you are currently shopping in.

Side note: If you own a Xbox One and have not played SO yet I really hope you do eventually.  I think it was a pretty great game.  You need to put 2-3 hours into it to unlocked all the cool traversals moves but once you do getting around the city can be a blast.  I also liked the writing so that mostly likely helped.

Sad to see the game tank so fast in TIV and price but I only paid $26 so getting $22 back was fine.

My $.03 calculation was off.

It'd actually be $.53 + tax after coupon, birthday coupon, and PUR assuming they apply in the order they did before. (20% off, $5 off, PUR)

Well determined something and got unbanned. Seems like certain DMs really doesn't care at all for coupon abuse and will unban you fairly quickly if called. The guy will probably always hate me but at least I'm unbanned and there isn't much he can do about it. This may be YMMV or DMs just really like pleasing the customer.

Is anyone interested in BB to GS credit movers?

I meant moving credit from Bestbuy to Gamestop not Gamestop to Bestbuy.

 
gamestop for some reason doesnt have dragon age used listed. Iuckily my local store has it going to grab it as the holiday return policy is still in effect. you have untill christmas eve for the extended return time

 
Anyone know if they have any deals on an Xbox 360? I didn't see any online but in-store today I saw a thing that said save $30 on one. I know they had one for $30 off and $40 for pro members but not sure if that is still valid. The guy also said I would get 10% off a system with a pro membership, so clearly he is clueless.

 
Yeah I am waiting to get one for around 100 possibly less. Probably need a 250gb too. My mw2 edition fat is basically useless now, disc drive won't open without a disc in it and now it won't sync controllers so guess I need a new one.

If that has a hard drive you can easily convert it for a slim or E Slim. Buy a caddy online for cheap.

The deal for $30 ($40 off for Pro members) off on pre-owned 360s and PS3s is still valid. In the details for it on the website it shows "offer subject to end at any time." The rep was indeed wrong about getting 10% off the console with your Pro membership.

I agree that if a hard drive is all that is needed then this is the way to go.

 
Wait, you can convert a fat 360 hard drive to a slim 360? If that is possible I will totally jump on a 4gb slim. I wish I had known that around Black Friday, I could have got one for $80.

I don't know if it's still an official thing, but back in the day I thought GS signed some type of agreement with the various top publishers saying they wouldn't list used copies on their website for the first month. Isn't it the same reason why you don't see used copies of new gaming items by third-party sellers on Amazon either in the first month?

thanks, there are def some gems there like Dead to Rights: Retribution, it is basically a better version of just cause 2. the dog ai partner feature came out before cod; Ghost, which is another good game

Quick question does anyone know how long it takes for the B2G1 to show up in your account after you renew. I want to renew so I can change over some credit to Bestbuy and was hoping to do it all in one trip.

Yeah, definitely $.53 (picked up a $6.99 wii game today and used BD + PUR + $5 off and it came to $.53 + tax)

Dead to Rights: Retribution has an 8.4 average product rating on Gamestop.com, according to costumers who give their expert opinions. It even has some 10/10 ratings, from valued members of Gamestop.com such as esteemed journalists "DuhBombDiggity" and "awesomereviewer123"! Definitely the best game on the list I compiled.

Wow...Call of Duty Advanced Warfare's TIV is only $20?! -_-. What happened to "eliminating trade-in promos to offer higher TIV's for popular titles".....or something like that.
 
Does GS accept GTAV PS4 Black Friday bundle copy?

The case has no bar code and says Not For Resale, I still have it sealed so IDK if the disk had a label or something.

If you really wanna be safe, since it'll be bought from you as 'used' anyway, check the disc and if it doesn't have a label saying Not For Resale, put it in a blank case. That's how I sell double packs as multiple games.

It's on sale new for $40 currently until Dec. 31. It also had a $40 TIV guaranteed for the first month of its release.

What GS is failing to see is that eventually people will start trading more to BB and WM to keep credit there with the GCU discount, I know I have.

 
I had no idea that I could use my points to buy PSN credit...probably old news but it was a pleasant surprise
