I don't understand these promo's. Many of the titles are at or above $25

They aren't marketed towards us. I imagine most people don't look up values beforehand. They would just see the list, see that they have 2 of the games and be happy they only have to pay $10 out of pocket.

I think it's kinda funny how a couple years ago, GameStop claimed to be restructuring their trade-in system to give more credit in general and stop doing the "__% extra credit bonus when trading towards a preorder of _____," yet they've already brought those back.

So the 20% and 10% for doing store pickup don't stack right? I was thinking you'd be able to get an employee to scan the 10% after placing a store pickup and scanning the 20% off pre owned

From a marketing perspective that was kind of a stupid decision in the first place. The sense of urgency from a week long trade in bonus will get people in the door. The idea of better values every day doesn't appeal as well to people's impulses.

It's already been confirmed. You can stack them and you do not need to do in store pick up.

It's random. Most of the time no, but it seems like 1-2 times a day for a little while they do stack.

What the is GS up to...i mean I know as a video game retailer what they are up to but I don't understand the flurry of promos happening right now.

There is 20% bonus towards DS3, a 20% bonus towards Sony VR and now a 50% bonus for the division? Makes me nervous...

Yep. I like it when they do it towards stuff that's already out. I hate when it's preorder towards something because I hate canceling preorders on them if the release is far away. Employees are cool at all the stores around here so I don't like doing that.

FYI the Gears bundle still gets you 2 games total, as long as employee adds the code for F6, TR, or RR properly. Quantum Break DOES NOT get the choose game promo.
