I haven't played any MP in Gears 1/2 and mainly horde for Gears 3, so I'm not too familiar with the MP maps but I do know that they do need to put out more maps, especially for Survival/Overrun mode. I was thrilled when I heard they were coming out with the Haven map, but then disappointed when I found out it wasn't for Survival/Overrun and that it felt like a really small map.
If no one wants to do the Insane run, I'd love to join a team to at least beat that damn Skyline map(hardcore or normal).

I was with a random group who was able to hold the 2nd E-hole on Skyline from round 5-8 the other day. I was on the Troika, and the other 4 held the left and middle, as I spotted anything that got by. It also helps that I've become really good at nailing those revive throws from the other sides of the map. I don't get all of them, but it allows me to stay on 'my' side, and keep them going on theirs.
If you want to play, let me know. I'm surprised there isn't a CAG clan for this game. 5 guys with headsets destroy in this game. When I played with randoms with headsets we've easily beaten teams of Baird, and shut them out on their turn as Locust, without using a team of Bairds. Communication is probably the best weapon in this game series. Now, if you had communication with a team of reliable and regular teammates, it'd be amazing.
What do you get for beating Survival on Insane?
Rooftops was an excellent map! I clutched many a game by retreating to the little side rooms near the middle of the map. Loved popping the heads of people trying to pick up the Torque Bow!
Someone else who liked Rooftops?! Holy shit! Anytime I've ever brought up that map, people go on about how much they hated it. I always enjoyed those long matches, but I really liked the tactical setup of the map.
Anyway, back to Survival; you really don't get much for it. Just a medal the first time you beat Insane, and the satisfaction of knowing you beat the hardest mode of the game (at least for now). Plus, the XP you get from playing Survival on any difficulty is really small, so it's not like Horde where you could play it and level up if you didn't like competitive play. I'm enjoying it, and was curious if others wanted to try, but there doesn't seem to be interest.
