Most likely. Now however, in the last 100 matches or so I've played, I'm pretty sure I've seen 0 Jin spammers. I've seen quite a few Jin players, but no retards.

I don't usually win, but I've been getting a bunch of wins with Hakumen recently.
Either way, now online is filled with players that are actually good. It's refreshing.

I lead the Blazblue hater movement. One of my friends once wanted to play Blazblue and I told him "Nothing but a bunch of slack jawed $$$$$$s around here. This game will make you a god damn
Sexual Tyrannosarous

Just like me. Mainly it's for King of Fighters XII, XI and KOF 98 UM and 2k2. I also toss in SF3 3rd strike and SF4.
Anybody still play BlazBlue on 360?
I'd love to try out my Hakumen on some of you guys...
I still play it sporadically. Game is stressful to me -_-

I've been maining Hakumen since retail. With him learn his air combos. You really can control a match that way and only Litchi is better than him in the air, but even then you have a much much stronger anti air than she does. Jin shouldn't even be a problem for you if you have his drive timing down.

Not sure how much time you have put into him but I am always willing to talk shop for bb or gg so post here or hit me up on ps3 or live have the game for both.

i'm still mad that we were even

but then i don't wanna play anymore because of the new version coming out

fuck... looks like I'm going to try and sell my 60gb to GS and backup restore to a slim instead of paying for repairs.

For $150 I can get my system repaired or for the same price I can trade it in and pay $150 while upgrading to a slim.

My only loss will be backwards compat, and my Street Fighter 4 and Rock Band 2 saves. What I gain is prob a cheaper made but less power hungry system and double the HDD space.

anyone think I should go this way? I'm just a little scared of the system restore shit between two different systems.

Sounds like a safe plan RR. fuck paying them $150 to fix it when you didn't do anything to brake it. Isn't there a way to move your saves onto your comp so you won't loose them?
Do you still play Noel Joe? If so I can understand waiting.
I don't know if you can say "still play." The last time I played was against suko's Rachel which was about a month or two ago which was with Noel.

The only other character I wanted to learn was actually Rachel, since I think gothloli's are cool. I learned a bit but didn't develop enough matchup experience.

(But I'd never, ever dress like that or even have a friend like that in real life. Just so you know.)

Yeah I can move the saves but some files are locked to a system :bomb:

It looks like I might not be able to trade my system to gamestop since I think they check if it takes discs (which mine does, but wont load em).

So I'll just take mine to one of the two that are 5 min away from me walking distance.

Devs who use this need to be shot and Sony needs to be kicked hard for allowing them to do it.

EDIT: Useful post.

Veteru's Ragna was pretty dope. Helluva lotta patience

lol!!

http://www.gytnews.com/2009/11/15/triple-threat-street-fighter-iv-tournament-recap/

After the tournament, a few players had shared thoughts on what they saw, tournament-wise. Some said this result was expected, others said it was a surprise to them. I remember two players telling me that the days of footsies, turtling and “timid” approaches have to be eliminated; those players said it was the Old School mentality, and it needs to be eliminated because these are the days of bum rushing the opponent not giving him or her a chance to breathe. Whether that’s truly the case remains to be seen. We’ll see what SoCal has to offer come next week, when NorCal Regionals take place.

Well...Super Street Fighter 4 is coming out, so it's probably not THAT much of a loss, unless save files carry over stats (Which I highly doubt will happen).

yeah, my locked saves arent too important to me honestly so no worries. I'll have to try a trade in when I get my paycheck but if it dosn't go well then I'll just send it away.

LBP's save is locked to consoles as well.

MarkMan needs to hurry up and get that SSFIV TE stick bundle announced. Please?

fucking arakune. i hate that guy. he doesn't belong in this game.

arakune vs. noel is one of the most broken matches in the game.
fucking nu. i hate that girl. she doesn't belong in this game.

nu vs. anyone are the most broken matches in the game.
Indeed.

nu vs. noel was always fun for me. it was one of those matches where noel has to get in close twice to unleash hot sexy fury and win. but until then you have to figure out how to get out of the D shenanigans.

i watched a nu vs. hakumen though. i fell asleep. i was at the arcade too.

I'm fine with nu vs. rachel. I think I actually enjoy the matchup lol.

Edit: Oh wait, I'm terrible against Litchi too. Meh, I should just say I suck at the game.

Because that fight is pure bs. Hakumen will have better options with her with the changes so it won't take so damn long from now on.

I was playing SFA3 last night on my PSP. I was playing on the hardest difficulty and was doing pretty well against the wrestler girl and the school girl. Then I got to Zangief and he kicked my ass with grab+bite attacks. Is there a way to break out of those? Or even counter them?

Tech out of it, press LP+MP right as he grabs you, at least I think that's what it is for SFA3. If it's a command grab though, you can only run or counter. The one you described can be tech'd out of though, so just go with my first suggestion.

it's SFA3 cpu?

they cheat
blanka will grab-bite you for half life.

the AI is easy to manipulate though. 99/100 if you do crouching jabs, they'll jump and you can anti-air.

Anyone getting the Night Warriors comic book (Udon) coming out in January? I saw it when I went to pre-order some comics. It's only 3 issues.

Definitely. AI with super turbo grabs sucks so bad. I want to play some Alpha 3 now.

And maybe one day I'll learn somebody in BlazBlue besides messing around with Tao.

Wasn't there a Darkstalkers comic series already?

I'm getting the Artbook for Phoenix Wright.

There was, this is the sequel approritly titled Night Warriors. However I never read the first one and I'm not a Darkstalkers fan so I probably wont get this.

Super Turbo has one of the toughest CPUs in the entire series imo. Its such an uphill battle to win. And i cannot wait for more Darkstalkers hotness. I hope the new game is more like DS1 then the later versions. And i know nothing is announced yet, just call it a hunch.

Hopefully the Phoenix Wright art book is better than the abortion that was the manga adaption. Jesus Christ, it was awful. I swear there were times where I was afraid to turn the page out of the fear of seeing Phoenix & Miles making out.

BTW, did you guys check out Didi's outfit(or lack thereof) in MA3 lately?

Is BlazBlue worth looking into? The art style is so neat to me. I've got a backlog of fighting games to get, but this just looks so neat that I may put it at first in line...

Thanks for the SF tips. Is playing on the hardest setting a dumb idea then? I really just want to go nuts getting better at Street Fighter so I can start kicking people's ass on campus.

Yes, BlazBlue is definitely worth looking into and don't use the SF's AI to practice, trust me. Just go and play other people on campus even if you lose, much better way to get better at the game. The AI falls for crap people wouldn't.

ok
well...
i'd only play cpu if you can do your combos and stuff in practice mode and you need the feeling of trying them in a match. no one plays sfa3 though so i dunno if you'd wanna play that.

blazblue... depends on your competition. if you play anyone decent then you have to learn a lot of complicated situational combos and moves that might take several hours. if you just play with other beginners then it's fine to mess around with.

I'm the "fighting game guy" on campus(or at least in my group of gamer friends), which is actually really sad when you think about the amount of skill(and lack there of ) I possess when it comes to fighters. I love SFA3(it's my favorite one!) and I don't own SFIV yet. But AI is the best I've got to play against to execute combos in a varying/aggressive environment. And if nine times out of ten I'm going to be playing Blazblue by myself, then I suppose I'll wait for a price drop or two. Unless it has the potential to turn into a hard to find game? Not that I'd hoard on speculation, I just don't want to miss out on a good game.

The first Darkstalkers series was alright. Morrigan rapes a guy to death in the first issue.

Well, if ya gotta go...

If you can find the special edition of BlazBlue with the OST CD's and the training DVD, get it. If not, your call. The game is REALLY good and well worth it at full price. I say that as someone who wasn't sure if he wanted to get it at launch or not until I actually got to GameStop and bought it. The game has a lot to offer, even if you're playing solo-only.

EDIT: OMG! Phoenix Wright WiiWare confirmed in Famitsu!

I don't know if I want voice acting in it or not, but I can't wait for that.

At least Phoenix will be in a Wii game. Thanks a bunch, TvC.

check it out, here's a story... about something that was posted in the last thread. I always wanted to tell it but I keep forgetting.

so it's the week T6 came out, and Im doing my everyday stuff. My alarm goes off in the morning and I turn it off as usual. Then my cell phone alarm goes off and Im still like half awake reaching out to turn it off.

since my phone is in my hand I click on the twitter thing to see it will update or whatever... there's a post from TekkenBob with a twitpic link so I click it.

Im like half awake suppose to be getting out of bed to go to work... barely conscious and the first thing I see in the morning on my phone for no reason at all is a picture of B:L
