Yep yep, good luck! Chances aren't great, but you never know. Best Buy is luckily on the way home from work. If it doesn't work out, then I'll just cancel right there.

I want to check to see if they have the SF Fightpads in anyways.

I really am starting to wonder if 7-11 is an option.
 
I'm pretty sure most stores got their copies, but it sounds like the game is street dated, so I doubt you'll be able to get a copy now unless your local BB leaks it. My local stores are insanely strict on corp policy (which doesn't make a shit crumb of sense since we are over 2000+ miles from the next state--what the hell is corp gonna do, drive their amphibious tank over here and personally scold the DMs, yeesh?).

But I will still run over during lunch break and check it out. >_

Sounds like you would've had to show up like a hour early just to make it in safely.

getting into the place was a disorganized mess...

then the fire mashall came and nobody was allowed to enter until either sum1 left or if u had sum kinda aristocratic clout... not even red carpet foolz could get in but these random azz looking rich mofos who prolly dont even kno what the hell was going on did.

I got there at 8pm and got in line, I finally was able to push myself in a little after 10pm.

and I didnt get a hat!!! I want one!!! I've posted on gaf and srk about buying one off sum1... I doubt anyone will respond to me :cry:

I'll be angry if in 3 weeks I finally get my xbox back and it RRoD's out of the box while my 360 version of the CE just sits there mocking me. Then my PS3 dies for no reason and the PS3 CE version mocks me as well.

Then my Wii dies and TvC explodes
 
my friend was playing PS3 version online last night. He was doing the arcade mode where people can challenge you while you play the single player game. He played mostly against japan players and it was smooth :applause:

At lunch we were playing ps3 and 360. The ps3 version has some loading time for vs matches...at least 5 seconds. None of our systems had the game installed to HD though.

Or, maybe there is someone is particular that you guys could tell people to add, as kind of a gateway to access skill level? I would really like to get a match in against some of you in the coming weeks/months. For what it's worth, I've been a member of SRK since Mar '05.

Either way, I'm already having trouble sleeping like it's Christmas time! I haven't felt like this in YEARS, Is anyone else just a little too much on the antsy side?:bomb:

Got sorta close, though. It got all the way to the cashier lady calling into the back room with a walkie talkie and asking them to bring out a copy of Street Fighter IV. They told her that they didn't have any yet and they eventually figured out it wasn't the release date.

I can't even bring myself to play SSF2THDR right now. I've been getting calls from buddies talking about how Gamestop has screwed them over on their preorders. It's like they have been wiped from the system....like they never even knew the stick existed. It's crazy.

I have both 360/PS3 TE sticks preordered at my local Game Crazy, and the manager called to tell me that VERY LIMITED supplies will be available at launch. They can't even do the midnight launch/tourney now because they won't be recieving the game until Tues morning! Either way, I should be good, because I preordered WAAAAAAAAAAY before these things were an item.

Looks like SF mania is definitely back and in full effect though!:bouncy:

Alright, let's get this squared away. The FGT List was made to get all the FGT Regulars together for the SFIV release. Many of us play against each other (some of us for years) and I felt that it would be easier if there was just a master list.

Instead of flooding an impending busy thread (with SFIV release days away) with questions about "Hey guys, what did you get SFIV on?" or "Hey guys, here is my gamertag if anyone wants to play", or "Hey, who is everyone playing. I think Rufus izzz kewl!!!" I decided to just gather all that information so we can converse about other things.

It is by no means a "You cannot play SFIV with us if we are on the list and you aren't" list. Send anyone you want to play and if they want to play they'll obviously accept the friend request.

I'm so juiced for SFIV, I can't even describe it properly. Can't wait to see Bison's bright-ass smile on my TV when I fire that bitch up.

Beats the shit out of the terrible fucking 360 controller though.

Probably won't get it on release day.

Amazon isn't even shipping until like 2 days after release on the TE -_-

At least I can go to target and pick up the 360 version of the game on release day, I think -_-

I got my pre-order for SFIV reg. edition 360 @ GS, so I'll prolly have that at least.

I don't expect to get SFIV CE PS3 from DD for a while, assuming they even allocated one for me. :p

And the way things have been going regarding a stick, I'll probably be playing on my EX, unless there is some kind of miracle whereby I can snag an SE from BB B&M.

If I do get an SE, I may have to cancel my TE as it's tax time and funds are tight right now. :p

I haven't been this amped for a game....maybe since Brawl. Yeah, I'll say Brawl. I was one of those teenagers in '91-'92 who was standing in line waiting to pwn everyone on CE. This game is gonna be my time machine back to those good times, since it is so heavily rooted in SF2 mechanics.

I just came from my local Game Crazy. They just got in some of their FightPads/Sticks and ironically, they are all of the PS3 variety. I picked up a Ken PS3 FightPad and the wall scroll. I hope to have a pic of the scroll up soon.

They also got in 3 PS3 Fightsticks, which are $70. The manager says that Gamestop is selling both 360 and PS3 flavors for $80....wow if that's true. Anyhoo, I'm super psyched!!:bouncy:

Yes, I understand that. What I'm saying is that Gamestop is charging $80 for BOTH sticks, in typical Gamestop fashion, if the manager at my Game Crazy is to be believed.
