It's confirmed, Rose is the FINAL ADDITION to the Street Fighter IV roster. I think Capcom covered the bases pretty well and I'm happy with how the roster turned out.

There are also a TON of screenshots over on Kotaku.

After playing SFIV for the last month or so in arcades, I would've been happy with that roster. The game is amazing. Capcom loving the fans (and the game) enough to add console exclusive characters really just sweetens the deal for everyone.

Question for kainzero, MarkMan or JEKKI.....did stored Ochio get taken out of Honda arsenal. I never played him in ST and I realized last night he's a blast to play as.

I've got a Total Control Plus. Its works and does so well. Actually, I've got a spare, so if you wanna score one on the cheap (that hasn't actually been used, but doesn't have the box...) lemme know.

SFIV on 1UP Show thoughts...

2D with 3D graphics was 100% the right call to make. The game looks beautiful.

For some reason, I think it will be easier to think of SFIV from a technical standpoint(like I do for Virtua Fighter 5) than the other SF games.

Ryu's "Hadoken" yell sounds slightly more annoying when repeated over and over than it did in previous Street Fighters. But I could be mistaken.

I didn't notice any other issues with the voice acting. I wonder if it will have the Japanese audio?

I love the extra Double Wrist Neck Breaker they've added to Cammy's Spin Drive Smasher.

Fei Long looks like he'd be pretty kick-ass to play as.

Was that lava level on the 1UP Show new stage for the home version?

And was the jungle stage at night I saw a home console exclusive as well?

I really don't like anything about Seth(the SFIV fighter, not Killian). He just seems like a typical or generic end boss.

If I was rich, I'd have a fighting game arcade just like that one in my basement. I just know I would.

I'm absolutely sold on SFIV. Day 1. Hell, hour 1 if GameStop does a midnight launch.

The fact that the SFIV TE is wired only for PS3/PC kills the deal for me, no matter how nice it is (and it is!).

The majority of my FG collection is on PS2 and DC, so I need sticks that are compatible with those or easily through converters. A good chunk of my FG collection is import PS2 FG's, so I need to have a PSX/PS2 wired stick.
 
Nice! I much prefer the Japanese box art.

I want the PC version of SFIV, but it might not come out the same day as the console ones, and I want that PS3 CE. . .

Edit : GS says June 2nd for the PC version. :bomb:

The Xbox version is a 360 game disc that outputs the movie at 720P, not a DVD.

I totally agree. The good thing about it is that as a result of playing to the fans, the fans return the favor by picking the games up. I wish other companies*cough*Nintendo*cough* would put the same amount of effort into listening to their fans as Capcom does.

I never thought I'd be saying this, but Mad Catz is doing the same thing with their sticks & pads. They brought in someone who knows his shit when it comes to sticks(MarkMan), plus they're making what is, most likely, the best stick released in the states this generation with the T.E. stick and it's Sanwa parts.

The moral of this story? Play to your fanbase.
 
Wow, I can't wait to get that Collectors Edition for SFIV! It looks unbelievable, and its an unbelievable price!
I guess I'll wait till MarkMan tells us which is better (PS3 or 360), but I'll probably go 360.

While at Gamestop yesterday, I saw a kid trying to trade in a bunch of PS1 games and spied a Darkstalkers 3. I told him I was interested and he gave it to me for $5. Sweeeeetness.

I'm still kind of upset about the console exclusive figure for the CE of SF4. I mean, the UK got both figures in their CE. It just seems unnecessary and a real pain for those of us who want a complete package.

I don't even want the Crimson Viper figure even if I buy the 360 LE version.
