Since I read it mentioned here and elsewhere that the PS2 version of KOF : The Orochi Saga is weakened due to slowdown problems , is there any word that the PSP or the Wii version might turn out better? I picked the PS2 version up from amazon for $10 just so that I'd have it , but will gladly switch it up for one of the other versions if its superior.

I hear the PSP version has the same slowdown. My guess is same for Wii but who knows. I just want it on PSP due to portability. I've played fighters on my PSP more than all other genres on the system (save Monster Hunter Frdm II... nearing 200 hours).

well here's what is most likely finished:

there's alot of empty space due to the buttons taking up those areas for the stick. it's not going to print the rights size for the stick, but I'm doing what the person requesting it is asking.

Oh man, in a moment of boredom, I played Hokuto no Ken again. Holy shit, I forgot how fun that game is. It really does feel different from other fighters. Totally glad I have it.

So I was just on AIM asking Markman how much to offer for some arcade stick parts. Little did I know I wasn't talking to the same Markman we all know and love.

I confused the hell out of the poor guy.

lol!

beware the fake markmans!

So anyway that tournament was small and poorly ran. I went 3 - 2 in HDR and 1 - 1 in 3s (I left before I was up in losers because it was taking forever!, was there for about 3 and a half hours and only got to play 3s twice).

Anyway I lost to a good Urien in 3s and a solid E. Honda in HDR. Overall, it was a pretty big waste of my time.

BUT! Tat vs. Cap just keeps on getting better. I love that goddamn game. I just wish that the Tat characters had 3p outfits like the Capcom characters do.

Also, my Buddy might be getting rid of his copy pretty soon. So if you were thinking about picking it up still Chac or anyone else, I might be able to get it to you for like 10 bucks off + free shipping? I'll let you know ASAP.
I ordered it at Play-Asia on the 11th and it shipped the same day.
Weird. I had my copy from Play-Asia ship on the 11th and I got it on Friday the 19th.

TvC is still the crack. As like MvC2, I'm already addicted in trying to unlock everything.

I finally got around to dusting off my wii and installing GeckoOS to play TvC. I have mixed feelings about it, being a huge MvC2 lover. For one, im sad that my PS2->GC adapter i got at the outdoor swapmeet for 1 dollar didnt work =( I also am sad so much of the game is in japanese. I finished the game using the wavebird and it was really easy.. After i finished the game, i instantly wanted to play it again, which is a big deal since i hardly feel that way about games these days. So definitely going to have to order a proper PS2->GC Adapter so i can use my arcade stick hotness.

Fun stuff.

Just ordered the Mayflash joybox for 16 bucks shipped.

PS3 for me, debating on whether I should get T6 from day one. For some reason, I've never been into Tekken. I'm up for some STHD (PS3) tonight. I just need to remind myself.

Also, I'm trying to main Sagat for STHD, is there a 2nd backup char I should try to pick up to cover my bases? I was kind of thinking Ryu since he's great all around and very similar. What do you guys think?

The Tekken series continues to have great music, as evidenced by the sheep stage music.

Little more interested in the game now. I just can't wait to change Lars fucking hairstyle.
So what system is everyone getting SFIV, Tekken 6, and KOFXII on?

Also, does anyone want to play Gears or SF around 11pm EST?
Probably 360 for all 3. Maybe IV on both but probably not, and maybe T6 on PS3 if it's supposed to be much better?

Prefer the 360 though, and since I'll have that fightstick tourney edition on 360, it only makes sense.
I'll wait and see which version is better and then decide.

Option, don't like Ken anymore?
Haha, I forgot about Ken. But Ryu seems so much better still... Ken's Fierce SRK is awesome though... Tough to decide.

Also, I have a problem when it comes to doing fbs. I usually walk forward and do the fireball motion. But because I walked forward, I do an SRK instead. Is there some sort of trick to avoiding an SRK coming out?

For example, I walk forward, do a low roundhouse into a fireball motion, but an SRK comes out.

I committed to SFIV on 360. KOFXII I'm not sure--I want to lean PS3, but I'll have the SFIV TE stick to use for 360 and I'm waiting for more info about the ports.

Haven't decided about Tekken either, but if it's like T5DRO, then I'm probably going to go 360 for that one, too. >_
360. Don't know if I'm getting KOF though. Also not sure if I'll get SFIV on release day since that's when the GTAIV pack comes out.
I know I know.. I'm gonna show up to the party a couple days late.. by then you guys would have already mastered the game and mopped the floor with me. :(

Link the hadouken with a normal before you do the motion, may help a bit.

Also

Tekken: both

SFIV: both

XII: ps3

my poor poor bank account

I'm all over tekken. Namco is going to rape me with DLC to be honest and I won't mind.

Ever since I've hated playing fighters on 360, I'm no longer getting any fighter on the 360 till I have a 360 stick or fightpad.

but if it works out:

T6: Both

SFIV: Skipping 360... strictly PC and PS3 for me
