Got to try out TvC last week at the West Coast Brawl tournament (which I was crushed in). VJoe and Chun are awesome, and might be my permateam. I tried Alex, but I couldn't get the timing of any of his moves down.

Hmm, wireless would be sexy. I don't see why a bluetooth stick wouldn't be possible. The difference between wired and bluetooth in response time/data transfer is to the order of tenths of milliseconds.

But i believe Markman said the sticks were wired.

bad weather + xmas day = not very crowded... I got to practice hella BlazBlue!

like, I got to play thru the whole game twice with Litchi, and had about 10 wins against ppl along the way!!

so with a single $1 I got more out of the game today than I've gotten with like the $40 I've spent since FFA got the game

lol.

prolly wont go tomorrow anymore... twas a great christmas present indeed!!

not as good as Unicron, but Unicron is quite the tall order.

Overall, I'd say yay. The game does a good job of hiding lag, very similar to GGPOs methods. But again, this is dependent on connections, locations, bandwidth etc. I had to swap out my crappy wireless router because it was dcing me and not allowing me to play with certain people.

Also while I've been playing, I won't say the online is perfect. I have experienced several glitches (though not nearly frequent enough to warrant a hisy fit). Some of those were the hp bar and round wins not updating correctly and connection errors until I restart the game. I'm not sure if these glitches are present on the 360 version and/or if it's just me. These glitches really don't happen too often with me though.

Hmm, those don't really seem like deal-breakers for me...:whistle2:k

Well, if/when I do nab my Triple, HD'll prolly be the first thing I grab, then maybe LBP and Ninja Storm. X-mas money from grandparents is the best money, IMO. :D

ggs Jekki, that was a lot of games. Man, you're Honda was perfect, I don't think he even lost. I'm just too scared of the headbutt. Again, was fun.

I honestly think STHD is the best downloadable-exclusive content ever. Not just as a fighting gamer, but also looking at the work put into it. I also think it has the best online connection, especially considering it's a fighter. You won't regret dling it, especially if you either are a fighting game fan or a street fighter fan.

Just unlocked Ippatsuman recently. Too fun to play with that Command Grab Super.

After I got all the characters, mini-games and 3P colors, I stopped really caring about the points. Not in a rush to get some bios I can't read and some music.
 
The one thing I don't like about TvC so far is that VJoe's supers are less than spectacular in both damage and usefulness. He's still a blast to use though, so I'll keep using him. I might try and pick up Alex again once I remember what his commands are. I've never really used him outside of TvC, so I keep forgetting what does what. Stun Gun Headbutt lock is mighty tempting...
 
I had a dream that I won round 1 of Evo in TvC against a (made up) famous guy who's good at it. Also I was using the donkey konga bongos that also had a D-Pad while I was using Roll and someone...

Yeah, Alex is beefy. I like to, when I think my opponent will be caught off-guard or as a counter hit, to jump up and then immediately hit hard attack to dive down. They stagger from the dive for a free Level 3 Hyper Bomb :)

Surely it can't be better than ST. Kinda cool to see TvC getting a spot although I'm furious that I'm never going to get to play it.
 
Oh, I see that tournament is Japanese based... Fate UC would make sense... I'm sure STHD isn't as popular over there as in the states as well.
 
I really hope TvC comes out in the U.S. I want something besides the Pinball Hall of Fame and Virtual Console games to play on my Wii.
 
If I had a better chance of playing TvC than I do now, I'd be asking for a Wii for x-mas, and not a Triple. Either way, the shopping begins tomorrow.
 
I'm diggin' the games chosen for SBO. Surprised to see Melty Blood: Actress Again missing from the list.

I'd order those SBO DVD's from last year (and 07') but Play Asia has them at $45+ a piece. Bleh

I know half of the unlockables in TvC are useless, but I can't help but get them all. I have about 43% of the stuff unlocked so far.
 
haaaaa... I said I wasnt going to the cade today... but I did!!!

a situation arose and I was able to stop by for a bit...

and I spent $17 playing BlazBlue alone :bomb:

the fobs werent there this time tho... it was a group of nerds instead... and they still kicked my ass!!

I helped one guy get to like 20 wins, then his friend beat him, then I helped that guy get 20 wins!!

by the time I finally beat him his friends were like 'lol he finally got used to fighting you' and then they left

then I was able to beat everyone else!!

I'm getting better, but still have trouble figuring out how to perform in certain situations...

plus I'm not at the advanced level of execution yet... still doing basics...

o yah! they got Tatsunoko v Capcom setup at the arcade too!!

still... I must be the only person in this thread who has no interest in that game... o_O

With the exception of Mega Man being in TvC, I could care less about that game. It looks cool but I was never really into MvC or MvC2. Looks like more of the same.

Japan only + Wii only = definitely no interest from the Phrosty camp. Btw, that Galvatron video you posted earlier was fucking retarded.. I think you should apologize for wasting our time.
