Quick question, without revealing anything that would break any NDAs(and therefore, get you in trouble.), would you say that SFIV has enough for the offline gamer(like me) to justify a day 1 purchase?

There really hasn't been much revealed about the additional modes for the home version, other than what the PS3 trophies spoiled. I know you said that you don't usually play 1P in fighting games, but I was just wondering if anything caught your eye while you were playing it.:cool:
 
Didn't Relento post the trophies that can be unlocked. I remember it being fairly lengthy.

As for the rest of offline mode, I think that depends on whether you have someone to actually play with.

Just ordered two Street Fighter IV Tournament Sticks, SFIV 360 Collector's Edition, and SFIV for PC on Amazon...

Won that 32GB Ipod Touch in the Child's Play raffle, and I just got an 8gb Touch for Christmas.
My birthday is on February 19th, kind of a birthday present for myself I guess lol

I totally can't wait till next month now :(
 
I remember reading about a magazine that had strategies for street fighter iv. It wasn't EGM, but some other mag. I went today to border to look for it, but I couldn't find it. ANyone know the name of the mag and where to get one.

Ya know.. just watched that new T6 trailer.. I have to say im insanely unimpressed. It looks way too much like Tekken 5 DR 1080p on the PSN. I hope to be blown away since i LOVE tekken so much. But right now SF4 looks to be the best looking next gen fighter, followed by KOF12. Also, the only KOF i ever got good at was KOF1 lol, how badly am i going to get owned with the new one?
 
I'm going to have to get a job by february if I want to afford a 360 TE stick and the PS3 CE. At least YF360g is going to foot the bill for the 360 version.
 
Just curious, DarthPuma, because I'm debating myself... why get the 360 TE stick but the PS3 CE? I know you're picking up the regular 360 version, but what about the previous choices?

Hey, MARKMAN, I'm not sure if you're allowed to say anything, but I was wondering if you knew anything about preorder bonuses for Amazon. Like, ANYTHING at all. I basically just want to know if Amazon will have any preorder bonuses at all for upcoming Capcom titles. These really make or break it for me, and it makes me uncomfortable to not have a gameplan for which game I'm buying at which store. As long as I know that Amazon will be getting some sort of bonus, I'm willing to keep my reservations, but if Capcom ends up giving them the shaft... I'll gladly pay more at another store. Specifically, I'm looking at RE5 and SF4.

i had a dream that we all got our sf4 sticks and we were unwrapping them. and amazon gave me a non TE edition and ya'll got yours and i was mad. and then i had to assemble mine myself too.

also in my dream, the law and order guy killed his baby because he didn't know how to take care of it. that was weird because i don't know watch law and order.

I took my parents to the indian casino early last year,

I tried to play poker there, I asked the chips lady for $20 in chips and she just laughed at me... and I didnt even kno how to play the game and I got peaced out in like a few rounds. and I was like awww...

I have a HRAP3 for the PS3 version, and I'm goign to drop a cthulu in the TE stick for dual compatability.This is if I have cash.

I'm surprised they let you play. Alot of casinos won't let you get less than $100 in chips. It's not really a written rule but you saw what happened when you tried to play with less.
 
So according to the Capcom-Unity blog, the figures in the Collector's Editions of Street Fighter IV are made by NECA. There's also a line of Street Fighter action figures coming out by NECA and they just announced Ken.

Are these the same figures then? It would save me a lot of trouble of getting another CE just for C.Viper if I could just grab another action figure. I thought these were exclusive to the CEs.

Not related to anything really, but I got my EVO 2K8 DVD's in the mail today. All is good with life :)

I need to play more BlazBlue. I played it at SJSU and SVGL but wasn't attempting to learn anything, mostly just to get a feel for the game. SVGL has BB running in a HD Viewlix Cab in 720p with Sanwa Parts. Too too nice.

All you need to do is dash in crouching lk x 2 while cyclops assisting and bam! Magnetic shockwave!

Works nice on the cpu, but against real players you'll have to be able to set up mags infinite off of clops assist too (which you do by cr lk x2 aa assist super jump RH ADDF then ROM it up son!)

yeay we wouldnt be behind if everyone had their shyt straight... not jus us but the providers on the receiving end as well... it's nothing but a never ending cycle of ppl getting paid to do a crappy job but no one cares -_-
