That's because they're all the gray ones. Those are more expensive. Odd that there aren't any black ones in your search. The black ones go for under $30 shipped...

i bought two of those on markman's good word and have been thuroughly pleased. i bought the pair for 30 shipped and i've used it for 3S and now sf4. it's easily the best feeling saturn style pad i've ever owned.
 
I'm using my friend's SF4 pad (which I stole until I get a stick) and I do think it's definitely a well-designed controller... and it hasn't crapped out yet, which is good. I do think the d-pad is definitely too big (definitely prefer the Saturn pad by far), but it's a hell of a lot better than the 360's default pad and it's probably better than any d-pad since the Saturn.

is it possible to FADC to say... a counter for an ultra your opponent throws at u? or is the timing physically impossible lol
since u can take one hit? or are the frames too fast for the ultra and ull get stomped

when u cancel a super move, does yours super gauge get depleted or does it stay there since u canceled it?
 
FADC is risky, but you could walk up to a fireball spammer that way if that's all he did.

Not much different than 3s parries, in that way.just let's you move more.

I recorded ryu throwing jab and fierce fb in training and was able to evade most of them. We should test it out sometime, chac.

really? My problem with the game is that ultra combos make it totally dangerous. game changers every round :lol: You've got half a life bar, he's got two hits left, you whiff a sweep, and BAM! You're screwed. :lol:

I love it too. I'm totally comfortable with it now and am going to pick up some back-ups when they become more available. Would be nice if someone from madcatz would confirm whether they're making more or not.

I kinda like how its big too. The Saturn pad isn't quite visceral enough for me.

I am so confused?? do u mean, your opponent throws an ultra, so you throw out a move to try to counter the ultra and then FADC it?? If my opponent threw out an ultra at me, I would block. The recovery on those moves is plenty time to retaliate. Bottom line, u see an ultra coming, either block or dodge!!!!!

second, you cannot FADC a super move since a super consumes your whole super gauge and you need 50% to perform a FADC/EX Focus. Any time you do a super or ultra or EX move that required meter, the meter depletes itself immediately upon execution.

focus attack, then after the hit, you dash (double tap foward/backward)...well, that's how I learned it

Anyone wanna play SFIV on 360 against a scrubby player, can't focus on hw.:bomb:

My scrubbyness got me the 10 wins in a row in ranked. Should have lost on the 10th round, but got extremely lucky. 11 round streak until some guy using Sakura that put the time limit to 30 sec. When there was like 10 secs left, he would just retreat backwards. So I lost by time. boo, at least I can start on homework now I guess.
 
GG's. That was the best 2 bar connection match I ever had lol. I think my roommate was DL'ing something, but glad to see it play like a 3 bar game.

Has anyone gotten green bars? I'm directly hooked up to my 5mb connection...only get yellows. Which is fine, but still.


Had some good matches with Arikado...not good as in "close," cause he destroyed me, but good as in, he knows his shit and forced me to actually think about my moves. also, he didn't use a shoto. So he deserves a medal for that.

Btw, anyone else notice Dan's focus attack can eat the first hit of an Ultra? He used a focus move, I did Fei Long's ultra and thought I had the round, but Dan ate the first hit and got the FA out before my second hit came out. Then a fuse blew in my house 'cause it was so awesome (true story.)

I've had that happen multiple times... I do remember Ono stating that Dan's focus attack was special but ever since playing I never knew what it was. this might be it. it saved my ass apparently a few times.

Dude I had a hella hard time with your blanka. That ultra would get me every time! You play a badass ryu too. I just couldn't get anything going!

Pretty sure the Legs into ultra only works in the corner - anywhere else and it just pushes them away with a few hits of the ultra.
 
soo...when is cag going to have a SFIV tourney? Would love to participate in one. I also thought, what if we had a tourney where you are randomly given a character, work with that character for lets say....about a week, then start the tourney....good/bad idea?

i think it would be better if people just entered their own name and character... since people have been using their main for probably HDR and stuff..
