True... I'd like to see you play a dan against Ken.

I have beaten alot of kens with dan but lost alot against kens.

playing Dan online is a huge uphill battle. especially on d-pad.

I play Dan against my scrubby friend in real life, and Dan's pretty damn terrible. But it's fun to play as him just because it's insulting to your opponent.

I've definitely been playing Fei Long almost all of the time, though.

I just love beating people with Dan. It's more satisfying of a win than any other characters... Dans my boy. I still like playing him more than other characters... he's my main, but I want Abel/Fei to maybe move up.

and I agree, Chac. All those games look extremly ghetto! Especially Project Chronus or whatever. At least I had heard of Daemon Bride before, making it decidedly less ghetto.

I'll be on SF4 tonight.... need to step my game up! Take it to the next level!

I thought Demon Bride was decidedly more ghetto than it was when I first heard about it, since it's basically just a bunch of weird animals/monsters fighting for no reason.

IIRC Namco did all the Tekken CGIs in house since PSOne?

Dan is hard to play as, but dankyukaku is great. Wish I could use him effectively. :/

So that's Tekken 6, KOF XII & BlazBlue all coming out this year. Yep, it's official, the fighting game genre has returned.:bouncy:

I was in the just about to get beat in a ranked match and my fucking router dropped just my match but not connection to the internet. The guy I was playing wouldn't believe me about my situation but I don't really blame him.
 
I just got 10 wins in a row online, 11th match, played the same guy who i won on the 10th win, using his same el fuerte but this time i change from Fei Long to Gief. All he did was spam the overhead drop over and over and would occasionally switch it up with a throw or a sweep kick, over and over and over. I couldnt get out of the trap regardless of whatever i tried, so i just turned off the machine so he wouldnt see a You Win screen for spamming the crap out of me lol. What can a gief do in this situation? I hardly play any El Fuertes online, so im really inexperienced against someone who knows how to spam that sort of garbage over and over.

Indeed. If i get spammed by something i know is retarded (i.e. lucky fierce ken uppercuts, crap luck ultras that connect out of nowhere, the el fuerte situation i mentioned, etc), i dont let them have the satisfaction of a you win screen when they didnt earn it. Ive only done it 3 times tho, and i have almost 500 matches played online, not like i quit often lol.

Man, I'm still watchin' that Tekken 6 video MM posted over and over. Shit just looks so perfect. I dunno. It just seems more intense than previous games.

Well, i just finally got the 500 games online achievment and with 76% wins, im happy! Now i can concentrate on playing better people vs just more rounds just to get that stupid achievment. I cannot finish a few of the normal trials or id try to get those as well, but i just cannot do a few of them for the life of me.

Lariat won't beat Fuerte's splash. Either backdash on wakeup, or use an EX green hand on wakeup to give yourself some space.

I lose all the time and never have an issue, its only when unskilled spamming is involved that i dont give them the satisfaction of a win screen, thats all. Give me a break guys, 3 times out of 500+ matches online and all super spammers/lucky spammers. Not like some guy truly wipes the floor with me and i ragequit lol, just doing it to piss them off, no rage here!

You're complaining about "spam," yet that splash is an extremely important part of Fuerte's game. He has to use it and abuse it every chance he gets for either damage or mixup opportunities. Just because you can't adjust to it doesn't mean he's a "spammer." If you keep getting hit by it, why change what's working?
 
It probably took a lot of practice getting the timing right for those crossup splashes. Hell, I gave up on it after practicing a while. Luckily, Vega's backflips can dodge it...most of the time. :lol:

I just found out that Ken can kara his hadouken, woooo for fireball trading now!

I need to use his kara more, it can't do it for shit on my ps3 stick.
