Here we go!

Here's a preview of a film sequence I'm working on... still needs some missing effects and fixes, but overall it's being worked on:

The red suited person (ReRo) is me in the suit... the black costume (MarkMan) is my friend... the crotch shot is not real entirely... my friend threw some "props" in there to enhance it...


I'm working with the musician who made the song Breakbeat Heartbeat, a UK chiptunes Musician, who will have alot of his work featured in it. I've also possibly got another guy doing the music for the intro credits.

takes a long time to setup but once all is set, it's easy rolling... the hardest part is finding footage that matches the music and editing to it.

I'm glad with how it's turning out :bouncy:

Yea, my first attempt at Viper online didn't pan out so well and I was laughing when I got hit at the end of Balrog's Ultra :lol:
It was fun though, hopefully I can pick up other characters soon otherwise you'll be seeing Bison the whole time :/

I'm STILL trying to get Viper's Hard #2 down, damn it's annoying :bomb: One time I ended up canceling into a c.mp -> EX Seismic then just followed through with hj, bk, then H.tk for the hell of it.
Very weird, a couple times when I did the motion for TK I came out with a Seismic :whistle2:s

I can do combos, my hands just freak out too much to do them in actual matches -.-

but honestly, I'ma pass. I saw the list of doods that are going that was posted, I dont really fit in with the GG community lol.

there's like what I consider the 3 best doods in Socal, and like last year they would come down to FFA for our 6-man ranbats (since all the GG players live in OC) and nobody would play the arcade game, they're all hanging out playing the game on the side at the console setup.

so there'd be one dood on the machine, and I'd be playing him over and over and over again, quarter after quarter getting my ass kicked upwards of $6-$7, and for a quarter a play we would never speak a word to each other.

I would eventually run out of money and be like lol good game and that would be the end of that.
 
2k2 is the most popular in central and south america, everywhere else its 98 I think. Europe might be 2k2 as well.

My favorite is XI, then 98.

I decide to play sum SFIV and the fukkyn roundhouse button stops working on my TE stick again, the same problem I had with the stick out the box.

I decide to repeat history and open the thing up, and the top right screw becomes stripped. I cant open the front panel anymore.

wtf am I suppose to do now?
 
what good is replacement parts tho? I cant even remove the defective one...

can it be removed from the bottom??

with 5 screws loose, you can't slide it off and pivot it off the 6th screw at at all? dang

still... I swear stripped screws are a mortal enemy of mine.

actually, any and all handyman tools in general. omg... I should jus stick to pencils and calculators...

so yah... there's a cash bounty to anybody who can remove this screw from my TE stick.

otherwise at the very least my dreams of a dual mod will be gone forever

I played a good ryu tonight who was like absolutely even with me, we even ended up 10-10. It was awesome, and my faith has been restored in this game.


Although it wasn't wavering to begin with so much.
 
GGs Kado. I made a little leeway over the other night.

Someone needs to teach me how the in the hell you are supposed to fight against Abel. He enters into that combo shit and it seems like it's a guaranteed throw.

I was cursing Zangeif, and then I won that single match, and it felt like maybe I figured something out I shouldn't know. Still think he's exceptionally difficult to fight against.

If you block the first hit of Abel's rekka, you can punish him pretty easily. That is the opportune time to do so.

I was trying a few things with Zangief to see what beat what on Fuerte's run and followups. Cr. MP and the headbutt seem to be good, but it seems like more of a rock-paper-scissors scenario. Regardless, Fuerte is annoying as fuck to fight against, especially as Gief.

Honestly, not really. Personally, I'm just getting tired of SFIV. The shortcuts in this game are just stupid. SRK has been reduced to spam down-forward and punch.
 
I'm losing battles as is even when I don't play... tired as fuck. had a good night last night. watched all my friends get drunk other than me.

lol. yeay. I lost hard.

so like I get there and play sum practice matches, but it takes me a while to get used to it coz the different screen size disorients the buck out of me!! I had to lose like 3 matches before finally adjusting to the setup, but once I did all was good. I got back on, had a nice streak, but got off the machine after my 3rd win coz I lost to a member of the Balrog army. That was the last game I played before the tournament started.

so my first round is against Amir, who placed 9th at AI last week... who's also a Blanka killer. Match is crazy, i was able to definitely put up a fight but I never won a single round. I had him once, I did the corner knockdown into Ultra to kill him with chip damage, but instead he freakin UPPERCUTS ME MID ULTRA INTO FADC INTO HIS OWN ULTRA!!! My brain exploded when I saw that... and it killed me too.

second match was against E. Honda... yes, terrible matchup. Furthermore, it's best of one match so I couldnt afford to mess up. I was already tired at this point, first round I hit him with my ultra but whiffed upon release. Not happy about that. Second round I dont kno what happened, but I realized I had already lost so much life that it was over.

o well... gotta practice up for next time.

other highlights:

played BlazBlue for my first time since JAN. Took a while to remember all my shyt and honestly, playing this game side by side with SFIV... Street Fighter shyts all over BB. Like BB doesnt feel as rewarding anymore, it feels like even if I got hella better at it then Guilty Gear would still be the better game. I donno why, but I'll think about it more later.

I also saw gootecks and said hi to him, but he doesnt remember me AGAIN! This is like the 3rd time I had to reintroduce myself... I guess he doesnt wanna be my friend. :cry: lol. At least Markmang and nasty n8 remember me!!
