It's not that bad, the bad part is knowing which way to block on cross up...

I remember that in Marvel Vs. Capcom 1&2 you can spin the joystick as Zangief to do more damage during a Spinning Pile Driver (and similar Hyper), but nothing to reduce damage... cept maybe to smack your opponent's hands away from the stick.

I wonder which will be the worst? KOF, The Legend of Chun-Li or DOA: Dead or Alive?

DOA obviously isn't the worst since it has Jamie Presley in a bikini and Kevin Nash. Both are redeeming enough qualities to spare it of the "worst fighting game movie" title.

I haven't seen the movie yet. I'm waiting for it on DVD so I can get piss drunk with friends and we can rip it a new one.

Gotta play SFIV more with you guys this coming week.

The FG party I'm going to next week might have a 4 vs 4 in SFIV and I want to make sure I'm not sleeping on my Abel/Seth :)
 
After playing SFIV much of the day on Sunday, I think I got burnt out on it. I tried to fire it up today but I really couldn't keep it on for long before I ejected the CD.

However, I am revisiting Garou: MOTW. I really wish they would release this game on the PSN, though it seems like it'll never happen.

If you like playing LOTS Asians and Mexicans, go play KOF '98 or 2K2. BTW, not a racist comment, just stating facts. :)

I haven't played on it in ages, but 3rd Strike and Super Turbo are probably still the most popular, outside of the KOFs.

I'm getting on GGPO later. I'm probably rusty as hell, but I'll play anything with anyone. :)
 
I wonder if they'll do anything with some of the Boss characters for online play in KOF 98' UM for XBLA. I could just imagine everyone picking Omega Rugal, Goenitz & Orochi. That would be a nightmare.

I'll get on late tonight if you guys want to play Super Turbo, 3rd Strike, or KOF2002. I've got Garou and Last Blade 2 as well, but I suck at those.

Also on a random note, I still find it dumb that Seth's Ultra doesn't seem to knock Akuma out of Raging Demon mid-frames. Or maybe my timing is just sloppy :)

I needa teach myself how to do jab->electricity with blanka... shyt looks hella hard too.
