I'm not 100% sure and I don't want to jinx it, but maybe, MAYBE, I'll finally be able to throw-down with some of you guys on Live this weekend. No hyperactive guests staying over for most of the weekend, so SFIV, HD Remix, DOA4, SCIV & VF5 should be a go.:D:D:D

Thanks a lot MM / zew...

loaded up MvC2 PS2 yesterday after trying out the demo on PS3. gonna work on my Sentinel stuff, but did some pretty basic HP, rocket punch, QCF + KK loops. mixed in some corner combos (HP, rocket punch, QCF + KK --> dash, launch into air combo etc...)

i really need to find a 3rd character (use Cable as my 2nd). i wanna learn Mags but he's so hard.

Storm is more user friendly than magneto, but they both require some pretty calculated airdashing.......or you could just spam SJ ADDF lk, cr lk and once it hits launch and into aircombo lightning attack super dhc sentinel.

That shit is so wack, like 0 scaling.

Edit: Also what axc said, storm in the hands of someone who doesnt play well is worse than a half decent magneto, but once you understand how to use her effectively she is pretty goddamn retarded.

So after playing Championship Mode only for the last couple days (minus CAG/FGT) fights, I decided to jump back into random Ranked Matches? Why? I hadn't got one Rage Quit or pissy message during or after any of my Championship games.

Oh how I was wrong to chose to do so.

First two matches I win in Ranked, I get one guy telling me after I beat him, I gave him the "Cheapest.Match.Ever" (Seth/Fei)

Also another guy called my Abel "Sorry" after I beat him. So I told him to play me and stop bitchin'. So we played about 17 Player Matches, where I went 12-5.

12-5 with Abel, Seth, Ryu, and Rufus. All of you who know me know I don't play the last two AT ALL.

Random bitching in fighting games, online or off always seems to annoy me to no end. I actually messaged the last guy with "GG's. Next time don't call people out based on one game". Obviously after going 5-12, he didn't have anything to say back.

Stop bitching, get better!
 
I'm about 500 CP/BP/PP away from getting into the next tier of Champ Mode (it was 2000 to get into the next one, right?). MGS4 has been taking away my SF4 time. =/

I wanna say CP is like your gambling "chips" for videos. The higher the amount of chips in the final round from both players, the more likely it will be saved for a replay for everyone to watch.

I guess lag/frame-related then? That's pretty interesting. If I was any good at all w/Abel, I'd try it in local vs or training mode.

But I'm not.

Gaining GP's is like earning tickets from a redemption machine. The more consecutive matches you win, the more GP's you get. When you finally lose, GP's are converted into so much CP, which is like taking that handful of tickets and walking away with a plastic frog.

I think that sums it up quite nicely.
