Anyone who has been to PAX before, are there vendor tables? I only ask because I know Melty Blood: Actress Again drops for PS2 this week and I'd like to get it while I am in Seattle.

Also KOFXII is fun, now that I've put more than 10 minutes into it :)

sorry for the newbie question, but how do u do a super in the air after an aircombo in marvel? everytime i try nothing happens. i get to 7 hits then like storm just lets the character drop... i donno how to cancel!

i need to beat down my sisters bf hes been talking trash all day everyday cause i stomp on him in sf4.
 
storm's air combo is s.hk - magic series - up forward lightning attack x2 (lk+hp), HCF+PP.

you press the PP when the attack connects

There are vendor tables around the exhibit hall, but selection differs every year so I don't know...

Pink Godzilla carries some import games but mostly a shit-ton of classic games at insanely high prices. Take a look at the map I posted in the other topic, there appears to be another separate vendor area added.

Good job with Mature. I couldn't use her if my life depended on it. Leona is just sick. Her jump HP, crouch HP, (charge down) then up HP combo is extremly easy to pull off and does some heafty damage.

ill just break it down as i see it in my head and what to press
okay so u.. s.hk-->lp-->lk-->lp button(once)--> lk button(once)--> hp-->hk--> (LK+HP for lighting attack) ---> QCB+PP

cant seem get the lightining attacks to hit cause i fly too high?

no hp or hk, just lp-lk-lp-lk - lightning attack
 
good games Fu but I'm already tired of seeing Storm and ur the only person I've played online so far :lol:

I know my main team is shit but it's: Venom/CCommando/Jin

Mature's normals are decent, but her DP/A+A CC is way too fun/funny.

Thanks for the heads up. Definitely want to keep my money away from too much overpriced stuff at PAX, but I'll bite if I see import fighters I don't have/want, or custom 'cade sticks and so forth.

Haven't played KOFXII online in a week, is it still laggy as hell?

My main is Chin, Raiden, & either Kim or Ralf. If there's lag I go with Kim since I can time things a little better with him.

Yup, still lags like crazy.

Ignition is supposed to be working on a patch due at the end of the month. We'll see how that goes though.

After 200 (well, more like 180) hours of Street Fighter III over in GGPO, I'm finally moving on to keyboard to my first stick: the SFIV Tournament Edition fightstick. Getting it Friday (Seriously, teleporters needs to be invented now so we can get rid of the terrible thing that comes with shipping:WAITING).

I would just like to give a many thanks to the dude who showed me the light of GGPO. Since I've met many "interesting" characters, some I made real good playing buddies.

So the slim is like more recent PS3 models as far as BC games go, right? It can do PS1 games but not PS2 games?

I've had very little interest in a PS3 in general, but this whole slim/price drop gimmick has got my attention. I imagine I'd still get most fighters for the 360, but who knows.

My current joystick is dual modded with 360 and PS1 controllers... are there PS1->PS3 converters that are pretty much lag-free? I actually did map the "Analog" button, to future-proof the stick in case I did ever end up getting a PS3 (I was told that it becomes the "Home" button when used on a Triple).

Yeah, for some converters the analog button is the home button.
