Capcom is stupid. They are making me pay $40 for something I should already have. Make it DLC dude, what is so hard about that. I gotta get my Sanwa Partz for my stick so that I can lay the beatdownz. I can't wait to get my flowchart Ken and Shoryu everything. There definitely should be a patch after Sagat gets balanced, where if you will it hard enough, FP Shoryu goes through everything. Cause it's all about believing in yourself right? So if I believe FP Shoryu is great on wakeup, full screen or randomly, it SHOULD work. This game is so broken, I hope SSFIV nerfs everyone. I want my random low tier character to be able to beat everything. Capcom should give this to me for free. I mean shit this is CheapAssGamer. I have to wait for every new console, system or peripheral to be $5 shipped before I ever consider it. If not, I am definitely too l33t to pay for it. (My general summary of the SSFIV thread as it is right now)

I just don't get what all the bitching going on there is about. SF Upgrades and different iterations aren't anything new and I'm hoping Capcom goes in and tweaks shit. fuck, people seem to be fine when the 360 drops all sorts of GOTY Editions of shit they paid extra for (map packs).

it's not that i like to shoryuken everything, it's that it just comes out so easily that even when i want to throw a fireball the shoryuken comes out.
don't get mad when i shoryuken through your block string. well you can get mad, but make sure you get gladlock.

no one wants to be defeated. show 'em ken's funky kicks is strong in stree fighter. it doesn't matter who's wrong or right, what matters is if you get flame mail afterwards.

Whatever man. Welcome to 2009. Everything needs an Art Book pre-order. I don't give two shits about the game. I'm fine with just talking about how I play it and then show all the hot girls in my classes this sweet ass Art Book I have. If there is anything that Street Fighter has taught me is that girls love Art Books. They love all those pretty pictures and then they ask "Hey who is that" and I'm like "Girllllll, that's C. Viper. She has that radz suit that kicks fire and shoots electricity. She also has this rad cell phone that kinda looks like yours. It's the hardest move to do in the game because sometimes when you do it, you get a fireball, or C.FP, or sometimes even Ultra when you don't get the frames right. Capcom owes us so much for this. Again it should be free because I already paid $60 of my hard earned money for SFIV on top of getting a Stick for SFIV, because SFIV has 6 buttons and no other fighting game has the same layout, so I had to get a stick made for the game. One time I told Capcom I wouldn't buy SSFIV and they called me back and cried. I would buy it out of sympathy but I don't want to support Capcom draining us for money and I'm going to stick it to them by NOT buying their game. Maybe if enough people refuse to buy SSFIV we can send Capcom a message and we'll get it for free. It's like how my parents protested back in the 60's and 70's except the point I'm making is far more stupid and way less important.

Have fun playing your shitty SSFIV game that Capcom should have given us before instead of making me work more hours (when I should be sleeping or hitting on girls) to pay for it.

This friday PS3 HOME will be launching a Tekken 6 space and a SFIV space.

I recommend you at least check out the SFIV one because it's a fully explorable version of Seth's stage. You see stuff there you normally never knew was behind there. I know this cuz I checked it out on Japanese PSN.

Bro, I had to get my stick custom made, since the OFFICIAL STREET FIGHTER IV TOURNAMENT EDITION FIGHTSTICK has EIGHT BUTTONS!!! WTF? Plus I heard that they used knock-off Sanway parts in them too, my FP keeps sticking, how can I possibly do my Tsujinrai Demon with that pile of shit? So I dropped $350 on a sweet ass stick, small price to pay since I'm so good and all.

I said "Hay dude, why you crying" and Capcom said (yes Capcom is a dude), "If you don't buy it we can't release it because there is no market for this game. Man T5DR has the absolute WORST community I've ever seen for a game. I've never played more than 1 match in any room without being kicked. It's outrageous.

great games in SF4. I still am lost using this TE stick, ive been a pad player for so long that its so hard to adjust to the stick. I switched my main from gief to balrog and think its getting decent so far. First time for me playing sagat was tonight, hes so overpowered its stupid. Your gief is BEASTLY tho. I hate all those damn pokes!!

Heh... good games. Abuse the hell out of that crouching jab with Balrog more and make sure you can hit his bread and butter headbutt combo into his ultra consistently. Once you get used to a stick, you won't want to go back.

clubs are 60g in brecconary.
if you get one for your girl that's already 120g.
it takes about an hour if you grind outside tantegel to make 120g.
in that hour you can make $10 with a crappy job.

i think your priority is all whack.

After playing a lot of SF4 online lately, i have to say that i HATE facing gief as balrog. It makes me furious that i usually do not have an answer for most of giefs tricks. When he zones in, its so tough to get away again, especially if the gief knows what they are doing. The only other problem i have is facing a ken who is REALLY good at linking. Ken is fast enough to get a c.weak kick in and then he can go to own, ending with a fierce upper, FADC and then ultraing me. Its sickening. When i face a good gief tho and lose, i switch to sagat and rape them a new one. Sagat hardly even has to try and he destroys gief with roundhouse alone.

And really, my #1 problem i have in SF4 is when people jump in, i try to throw them too often like im playing HD Remix. You can throw out of footsies in that game and im so used to that since my childhood of growing up with SF2, that i keep trying it in SF4 and get punished so badly. Need to work on that.

Thats easy to do? Have you actually tried it? Ryu's good combos have 1 frame links and pretty much the only person I've seen that does them consistently is Daigo. Your average Ryu doesn't try that crap. Hell Valle and John Choi go for the easy versions of the combos.

Its not that hard, I can do it fairly consistently. Although it might be true that in a higher pressure environment that I would stick to something simpler like crmp, standing mk, whatever I feel like afterwards.


Im pretty sure the only one frame links he has are linking his standing fierce from forward fierce and linking his mk or roundhouse from mp while crouching, everything else is 2-4 frames.



Compare el fuerte's links, which have 2 1 frame inputs just to get an extra mk and lk into a crmk super combo for maybe 40-50 more damage, whereas ryu has 2-4 frame links that give 2-3 times more extra damage.

Personally I've never been a fan of portable fighters. For the simple reason that since you're performing complicated hand movements the screen is consistently moving. For me it just makes it hard to see what's going on.

But for the game itself it's good. You get all the play modes from World Tour to Dramatic Battle. 4 extra characters (Eagle, Ingrid, Maki & Yun). So with all those features it's defiantly one of the best versions of the game. However I found the controls a little stiff making it hard to pull off some of the more complicated moves. If you can find it for $15 or under I think it's defiantly worth it.
