They couldn't put this sort of news on that useless ticker on the dashboard? I'm tired of being reminded about the PSPGo, but I'd gladly pay attention to news about maintenance on the servers.

I need to remember to be ridiculously patient in that match-up, as it's in Seth favor greatly.

A friend of mine mains Gief and I play extremely patient against him. Then again there are times I'm not so patient as to grind out the win against Gief and I just do all sorts of flashy shit.

I already told ya, I haven't seen any proof of it. Just speculation at this point, people say shit like this all the time about any online game. Either way, the netcode sucks, so don't worry. ;)

Has there ever been any other fighter that turned out this way the day it came out? I don't recall BlazBlue or SFIV having this problem on release day.
 
Just picked up my T6 Bundle. Nice matte finish on the arcade stick, as always with the ps3 i'm not thrilled with having to keep track of another usb plug.

Game plays great, story mode is pretty lame, at least judging from the 5 minutes I spent on it, and online was better than DRO for me, but that's not saying much.

Edit: OK, I've played with some people, and a friend that I used to play T5DR Online with and have decent connections was pretty damn smooth, very little lag. Others came in the room, and it varied. The key will be finding people you can have a decent connection with, OPENING THOSE PORTS if you haven't, and using a wired ethernet connection.

i suppose

i unlocked a few endings
asuka+lili is 95% the same
leo's is by far the lamest thing i've seen
steve's reminds me of typical tekken endings. also i beat the final boss just doing 1,2,1 so i liked that
 
I just played my PS3 copy and a yellow bar on PSN was better than all green on XBL o_O

Dude, when I actually got a green on PSN it was ... playable! =O

I've had yellows on XBL more playable than green.

Hooray for trading in a bunch of crap I don't play anymore (anything non-Fighting Game/Puzzle Related) and getting Tekken 6 for $32.

Installing the game now. Are all the characters unlocked from the get go in Arcade Mode AND Vs. Mode, or do I have to pull a SFIV.

All chars are unlocked in Arcade AND Vs. mode.

It's the same problem with the 360...at least PS3's USB plugs are universal. :p
 
Curse Amazon for not including Tekken 6 in their current promo.

I pussed out. I can't drop $120 in videogames at the moment.

The bad news about the online play sort of eases the pain so at least, in some weird way, I'm selfishly happy about that.

I'm off to play Tekken 2 :p
 
On a random note, I wish my Tekken 6 calendar I got as a pre-order bonus had something to keep it together. Whether it being spiral bound or whatever. It's perty.

Seriously though, the netcode for PS3 Tekken 6 makes me wanna blow my brains out. Good luck getting Raven knee juggles to work (or any juggle that isn't just launcher --> meaty hit to work, for that matter.)

Gameplay is great though, but it's almost 2010... the way the game plays is unbearable. MUCH, MUCH worse than SCIV for me.

I ordered from Amazon so do I even get one? I remember seeing something on the site about it but didn't really read all of it. Besides is the code for this costume exclusive, something you can't unlock in the game?

They email it to you, probably in the next few days. And no, you can't unlock it normally, or so I've heard.
 
Haven't got the e-mail yet but if I do the PS3 code will go to a FGT regular. Sorry NOTTULYS but I didn't know so many of these guys didn't have one. We've been posting in this thread for years so if one of them wants it I can't turn them away. Sorry dude, hope you understand.

You ordered from Amazon Rodimus? I did, and have not rec'd the code yet. It usually takes a few days for them to send bonus codes for pre-orders.
