I honestly think I'm going to be annoyed as fuck if I see a shit ton of dudleys online. Makoto and Ibuki I dont mind seeing alot of, but good lord does Dudley love annoy the fuck outa me.

I enjoy him, but the way people obsess over the guy makes baby raptors rip their eyes out.

Don't mind seeing a lot of one character online mostly because A) I know I'll end up playing friends I know that aren't in the area or B) Not everyone is going to be good with that character

Also the local arcade has 2 Xbox 360 console setups and one makeshift setup my friends and I bring every Wednesday. One of the setups has an Asus monitor. We are just going to throw Super into that and get all our practice that way.

I really like playing dudes here or people I know, because in all honesty, I always feel like playing online really fucks up my execution.

Yea, it's really strange jumping from online to playing peeps in an arcade. Aside from the buttons/stick being hella loose, the timing just feels a tad different, which makes a huge difference in timing links and counter hits.

I'd ask you which arcades you usually hit up, but you're in the bay. Denjin, Family Fun, or AI for me

Transitioning from a set with even a hint of lag to a lagless setup is always different. My set does have lag and on Wednesdays I usually play on an Asus. At my crew's normal Wed/Fri get togethers, we either roll Asus Monitors or CRT's. I've been playing a LOT less online because I find that I can't do half of the shit I want to because of lag.

Seriously, when I can't even do (or have to change the timing) of Seth's Dive Kick, cr.lk, cr.lp x2, cr.mp xx Legs, it's boring not worth playing. Or when I whiff FADC Shoryu's xx Stomps. Ugh

I couldn't imagine where it would be held. We don't have any good arcades. If anything the venue is most likely some shady storage unit.

Boomers is okay. They have a ton of games but don't maintain the cabinets. Most games have button malfunctions. I used to go every week for $10 Tuesdays during my Tekken Tag days with a bunch of college friends. I've been a couple times since just to check out the competition. The crowd is too young for my old ass.

I know what you mean about online axc. I was playing last night, got a combo into headbutt & was about to ultra when the game lags out & totally screwed up the timing causing me to whiff & lose the match. I need to start looking for offline comp.

I love arcades, but I will play wherever there is comp.

Sometimes I have more fun at get togethers at friends' houses, or local players' houses than I do at arcades. Nothing like playing for free and getting great comp for 7+ hours :)
