If the new PSP model is true and a big step up from the current PSP then I'll grab it.

Also I want a DSi...all the useless features intrigue me. You can now write with rainbows in pictochat? NO WAI!!
So the rumor is a slide out touch screen PSP? Or that it some model beyond the 4000? I already have a 2000 and a 3000, so I shouldn't be interested in a 4000...but then my daughter could play with my son and I. Hmmm...
I still own the original DS myself. I just never found a good reason to upgrade. I've played around with a DS Lite and I hated how small it was. And it seems that the DSi might be even smaller.
The DSi supposedly has larger, better screens?

I have a DSi on pre-order from amazon, but I don't know if I really want one. I'm just locking an order in case the demand exceeds supply.
Didn't know this, cool:
Oh so that's what that does. I was wondering what that replay option was about--I really should read the manuals, lol.
If the racing in Motorstorm PSP is as good as Sega Rally Revo's on the PSP, then I'll probably check it out, and I'll definitely pick up LBP PSP. Otherwise, everything else is completely silly.
Yeah Sega Rally on PSP is the shit, Motorstorm could be good, not sure about LBP on PSP.

Oh wow, I didn't know Sega Rally is good on the PSP. I have it on the PS3 and love it. Guess I need to track down a PSP copy :D
What system?
Is there a deal on that game or something?

PSP needs a price drop so I can buy one with Persona for Christmas for myself.
So is Persona PSP pretty much a straight port of the original? I'm tempted to pick it up myself.

Also, I bit on SR2 CE too. I'll be trading/selling my regular edition posthaste.

I sold my PSP and DS Lite to pay for all my SFIV crap and a 120GB HDD for my 360. I don't regret it one bit, sadly. If they drop when the newer models come out then I may reconsider them.

I've been thinking of selling my DS Lite as well. Seldom touch it and I'd like to pick up an ebook reader (the Amazon Kindle or Sony Reader 505) as I'd use those a lot more than my DS which rarely gets touched.

Only thing holding me back is the current ereader prices are too high for my liking and there are features I'd like them to get worked out--like improving conversion of PDF files since I read a lot of scholarly articles.

Anyway, back on topic, no gaming for me in over a week. May fire up some Oblivion in a bit as I have the day off as I'm in between business trips. Head out again on Thursday.

Same here. But I'll hold on to my DS since I do go back to GBA game every now and then. I also have a few DS game in my backlog as well.

I have also be considering picking up an ebook as well. But I'm a pretty on and off reader. So that plus the current prices are keeping me from picking one up.

It'll be a remake of the original. All they have said so far is the game will more save points and a difficulty setting.

The PSP version is probably the best version of the game.

Ah, just got the email from Atlus. I guess they are "hinting" that what didn't get ported over before will be carried over complete this time.

Never played it, so it sounds good to me.

And ha ha whoknows.

Any extras in the PC or PS3 version? I skipped the 360 release, so if there's some compelling reason to get a different platform, I won't wait for a price drop on the 360.

The Games for Windows version boasts a host of new features, these include; giving the player the choice to select Japanese or English voice-overs, improved character animations, the ability to allow multiple leader units to form unions and faster gameplay during battles.
And then obvious visual and technical improvements.

I've been playing Rise of The Argonauts for a few hours today.

It's a pretty awesome game. Definitely surpassed my expectations. It seems to be more story than combat, but I'm 100% fine with that. Especially since the story is awesome.

Nice! If that translates into the PS3 version, then I'll be on the look out for that one then as my "gaming" PC is like 3 years old. :p
All Persona games suck. I'd never spend money on one.
 I expect nothing less from you. :applause:

Trying to get rid of my regular SFIV (PS3) for $50 shipped, I got the CE
I like both my DS Lite and PSP. Great games on it, and a good number of them are RPGs. PSP can do...other things too. :whistle2:$
I loved the DS from late 2005-early 2007 or so. Lots of good 2D games etc. Since then most of the good games are JRPGs, SRPGs, text adventure , casual games, or random touch screen stuff like Trauma Center so it's gathered a lot of dust the past couple of years.

I'll probably hold on to it for awhile, will probably at least pick up Mario and Luigi 3.
Sweet. Getting it now. I wanted to play it before, now I might as well wait for the PC version.
I think it comes out March 4th or 9th on Steam.
Persona 1 remake confirmed for US.
And if the rumored PSP-4000 complete remake is true for GDC/E3, then looks like a pretty good year for PSP.

I'll upgrade to that new PSP and DSi.
Still have the original models of both.
I dunno how this could be a good year for the PSP, as Persona is the only game that sounds enjoyable for the entire year. It's just not a good system.

But I want the Persona remake if they do fix the broke-ass-ness of Persona 1.
Well, alright. Lemme know how Assassin's Creed holds up without the hype and how good a bootleg Motorstorm is when those games come out.
Perfect.

No offense guys, but Motorstorm without the PS3 (or 360, just sayin') just isn't Motorstorm. As for Assassin's Creed... it has potential.

I'll let you know how lbp, rockband/frequency, and Persona are as that all I want from the games I mentioned.

The other games have their own audience and fans.

CML? :D

LBP on PSP has a lot of fun potential. PS3 connectivity. Level creation on the shitter? I'm already sold.

For a GGTer, sure.

*looks*

Nothing I don't already have or am interested in, sorry buddy.
Well yeah, I'm sure the Imagine: series has its fans, too... but that doesn't make those games good...

bah humbug
This reminds me: I may have a sealed copy for the 360 I was going to dump for $50-55 shipped. If this isn't the case, I may have a pristine used copy to sell for $45-50.

I figured as much. Worth a shot though.

In the weeks to come, we'll share more about what's new in this full restoration of the original Revelations: Persona. In the meantime, we can say that that which was not carried over the first time around is restored. The game is fully rebalanced, visually enhanced, and completely relocalized.

What platform are you playing it on? I was really looking forward to it for a while, but it got some pretty scathing reviews.

PS3.

The combat isn't anything special, but it does take a backseat to the story, which is very well done.
