Damn, TWEWY didn't come today. Strange because it arrived in OKC at like 2 this morning and I live less than 2.5 hours away from there.

oh well, it should at least be here tomorrow. It would be nice to take my ds on the 3 hour bus trip to our chamber choir contest next week, but I'd rather not get made fun of for bringing it.

I hate all of you that have teh r2 beta and don't share it.

EDIT:
When I pick up guitar hero on saturday night, should I do a live stream of me and my friends being dumbasses with it? I need an excuse to flip the EOJ bundle to blockbuster for the free camera.

What the-? I don't think I'm this other than the not-so-competitive part, but that's what I got:

The Helping Hand
Deliberate Sociable Fun Veteran (DSFV)
Generous, helpful, kind...a few of many positive attributes people see in you, the Helping Hand. Nothing satisfies you more than helping your teammates or friends out in all the games that you play. You may even look to assist people in some cases if there is no one around asking for help. In fact, the enjoyment that you receive from helping people rivals that of solving a puzzle, winning a battle, or achieving a hard objective in a game.

Heavily social intensive games tend to be what you enjoy the most although you can probably find something to take pleasure in with most games. For instance, if you happen to find yourself in a competitive first person shooter, you'd probably take the support class. We recommend you stick to games (and crowds!) where people will appreciate you more; these include more casual gamers seeking fun and excitement from games rather than the serious competitive ones.

one of my matches was a cute, elfish-looking azn girl though
I just support stuff I:

1) like
2) can afford

:p
QFT. I just play whatever I want, on whatever system I want. I'll never buy a Wii. My 360 plays VF5 and some XBLA and that's it. My PS3 is a bluray and fighter machine mostly. The bulk of my gaming is PS2 and PC. That's just how I am.

You can listen to others' views, but at the end of the day, you should play what you want to play on whatever you want to play it on. And more power to you.

Went to GS with a friend today because he was trying to get a R2 beta code.

I happened to see a used Yggdra Union (PSP) marked at $15. I thought that was a little too cheap and upon looking closer it was tagged for Ys Arc of Napishtim. Being the daredevil that I am, I attempted to buy the game for that $15. Clerk noticed immediately and told me it was mismarked, but then said "whatever, I'll sell it to you at that price".

Lazy employee FTW!!

In MI, i believe they would have to honor the price I believe. Maybe since it is clearly mismarked they might not. I know we had to sell some XBL 3 month codes for the price of 1 months because they were miss marked. It was at a GS.
gears2 and left4dead > resistance 2 by a mile! At least people have headsets on those..
i know i'm in the minority, but i'm not a fan of valve games. maybe l4d changes that. i doubt it.
Same here, I'm looking forward to the Netfix viewing.
 From what I read last, i thought (at least part of) the netflix functionality wasn't going to be ready for the nxe launch.
Thanks for the link Nelo. Not sure I want to risk mucking up my 360 over some ugly ass avatars though. :p
No thanks.
Ah, got out and skated today! Felt so great!

Now, to stay in and play FFXI or go out and get drunk.... hmmm...
Go out and get drunk and play games when you come back hammered. It makes gaming with other people more fun.

Wow, skating. Have done that since I was like 13. I sucked bad. It's hard to be fat and stubby and skate. Wonder if I could do it now that I'm all skinny....

My little sister is fucking METAL! Her favorite RB2 song is visions. i have a vid of her trying to growl it, and it's fuckin hilarious.

I share the same opinion. Valve games are OK, but they aren't the best games ever like some people think.

I tried half life once. Never made it out of the lab.
Tried some counterstrike, didn't quite do it for me.
Tried a bit of Half Life 2, episode 2, didn't like it either.

That's because they aren't the best games ever. Sure, some of them are good, but damn, they aren't THAT good.

I concur.

Half Life 2 was amazing, and Team Fortress 2 is the best fps on the market. I haven't finished Portal. Other than that, I agree that they aren't that awesome.

Portal and Half-Life 2 were awesome. Left 4 Dead looks really good. While I wouldn't say they're the best developer out there, I will say they're close to the top.

TRUF. PC reviewers act like they are untouchable.
I think Bungie is the best developer out there. I mean, they made Halo mother fuggin 3. What's valve got on that shiiit?

whether you intended it or not, that might be the funniest thing I've ever read.
Spider-Man: web of shadows on DS is like, really good.
yeah, I watched a video of it a few days ago and was completely surprised. reminded me of a mix of the old Ninja Gaiden games mixed with Devil May Cry.

It was made by the same guy that did Spyro: The Eternal Night on GBA. THAT was a surprisingly good gba game.

I expect the DS Web o Shadys to rate better than the console ones.

How old is Puma? Like, 14?

So his little sister would be...

...pics nao.

I've been playing Condemned 2. It actually started to pick up in the Doll Factory (I'm in the museum now) and I'm not as pissed at it. But the first one is still 5 Boners Better.

If I were to pick up a DS castlevania, which would be the best one? I might dump Civilization Revolution on Goozex for 700 points and get one.

I'd miss civ rev, but then I'd have an excuse to get civ 4 and play the good version of it.

I'm very nearly sixteen jeesus. She would be 11. I have a video uploaded to myspace, but I'm not posting it here.
Yes. The new one isn't bad either. Portrait of Ruin lacked polish.
It lacked more than that.
It lacked more than that.
It's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Part of the problem is living up to the standard DoS set. The other problem was it felt rushed, hence the lack of polish. Also, difficulty was uneven in places and it seemed buggy... but I'd still lump that in with polish. :\

I played PoR first, I just recently played DoS. Without ranting too much, I'll just say that PoR has made me incredibly weary of playing games that use a 2 person/teamwork mechanic from there on out. The whole last like, 2 hours of the game felt so much like a chore, I was so happy to finish it and then get rid of it. By far, the only DS game (out of like, 3 that I've parted with) that I have no intention of picking back up again.

I don't think I used the chick at all. Just Johnathan the whole time... unless there was a special section where the chick's magic actually worked well.

I was more disappointed that there were like 3 levels with palette swaps. :\

That too, and the fact that the entire second half of the game was just going back though the portraits you had already gone in, just backwards.

It's probably my biggest disappointment within the Castlevania series. But then again, the only Castlevanias that I've played are: Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Dawn of Sorrow.

On the topic of having never played certain games, it wasn't until recently that I realized that I've never played a Duke Nukem game, and I've never played a Dynasty Warriors series game. What about everyone else?

PoR also has one of the few moments in gaming that has legitimately made me call out, "BULLSHIT!" -
When you fight the two sisters near the end of the game. They're very difficult to beat, and if you kill them, game over. If they kill you, game over. What do you do? You go back to some random ass portrait from three hours ago and use some new ability you just got to get a spell you need to defeat them. I can't remember getting any hint I was supposed to do this, and when I finally consulted GameFAQs, I was pissed.

I played Duke only on the N64. Never played Dynasty Warriors.

I've never played Duke Nukem or Dynasty Warriors along with Ninja Gaiden, Halo except for like 5 matches, God of War, and some others I know I'm forgetting.
