Funny about the high school talk--my reunion is this weekend.

I decided to get Tiger 10 w/Wii motion plus. I don't know why I keep supporting the Wii even though it's the system I play the least. :(
Not really. It still sucked because you were stuck in school from 8-3 when you could be hanging out with friends, listening to music and banging girls.
You could probably thank HS for meeting most of those friends, you know.
I might consider getting another Wii if Metroid: Other M delivers.
I love the Metroid series and even loved Metroid Prime 3 when I had a Wii, but not even another kick ass Metroid game will get me to rebuy that console.
You could probably thank HS for meeting most of those friends, you know.
I suppose.

Just a love/hate thing then I guess. Got to meet those friends, but stuck there from 8-3 when I would have rather been doing other stuff with them.

Moot point anyway I suppose since I didn't keep in touch with any of them after going to college.

Prototype is pretty great so far. Ninja Blade is not good, but it is ridiculous, and it does have ninjas.

I want to as well, but I don't know. After Metroid I can't think of anything else I'd want to play.

Wii has:

A Boy and His Blob
Mario Bros. Wii
New Zelda (eventually)
Silent Hill (also on PS2)
Fragile
Arc Rise Fantasia
Mario Galaxy 2

It looks good to me, who knows what else Nintendo will have next year.

I own as many Wii games as I do 360 games. I don't know why people think that system has nothing good on it.

Also, FF4 The After Years is out. I need to get that.

Wii has a lot of decent, maybe when it hits 10 bucks games out on it and coming out, but it doesnt have that wow factor for a leading console, and thats pretty sad. I also agree that the games are mostly throw away and have 0 longevity. No one is going to be talking about crap like Fragile and Arc Rise Fantasia years from now, they're just the flavor of the week wii owners will trumpet as awesome games they want and that no one will end up buying.
Just because you own a bunch of crap doesn't make any of it worthwhile.

And I'm only laughing because it's the Wii.

You guys really should buy RAIDEN FIGHTERS ACES. It retails for 20$ and it is some great Shoot Em up Action, it is a great compilation. Must own if you even remotely like the genre.

Plus the achievements are pretty simple and you can get them with the super easy difficulty. (I know this matters too some people)

Plus, if you are running dial up or something and cant get on Xbox Live, this game has the NXE dashboard on the disk.

I don't have a Wii and they look good to me.
I never had the stomach to grind to a high enough level to take on the weapons. I could ace safer sephiroth in a heartbeat, but those weapons were fucksticks.
The weapons aren't hard at all once you get a system down.
I remember reading about an extremely easy way to take out Ruby. The only problem was that it was time-consuming, and if you messed up, you pretty much wasted all of your time.

Something to do with the "???" Enemy Skill, Dazers (paralysis items since Ruby is weak to that), and lots of HP Up materia.

I'd rather fight Ruby than Emerald, but the reward is a lot sweeter for beating the latter. =/
Ruby is ridiculously easy once you use a trick I found. Use Hades on him and he gets paralyzed, then bash on him with no fear of retaliation. I laughed when I found that.
I made a backloggery site at the request of a friend.
My username there is 'bookshelf'.
What is up there is complete, need to add other systems though.
Added you. Your page looks really nice compared to my really boring one. Guess I should try and spruce it up when I get a chance.

-------------

Regarding Ruby Weapon , I found it funny how long after most people really cared that it was mentioned in an interview somewhere , that the developers had always intended the knights of the round material to be the main reward for beating Ruby (by proxy of winning the gold chocobo) instead of most people going through the long chocobo breeding sequence to get a gold chocobo to get KotR to use against Ruby.
Jer, post your Wii collection.
I'll have a photo next to my 360 collection later today. Gotta go to work for now.

MadWorld
DeBlob
Tenchu
ExciteTruck
ExciteBots
Super Mario Galaxy
Klonoa
No More Heroes
Punch Out
Mario Power Tennis
House of the Dead Overkill
Medal of Honor Heroes 2
Marble Mania 2
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition
Smash Bros Brawl
Zack and Wiki

That's what I have, though, and everyone might not love every one of those games, but I find it hard to complain about that lineup. Add VC and a few good WiiWare games and I think the Wii is doing just fine.

Better than the few titles I was interested enough to get when I had a PS3.

Excellent choice on Time Chaser ben. I love that one. I can picture that guy's chin enveloping that girls face. And lets not forget Bob Evil and his heterosexual life mate Paul Bearer.

I actually kind of agree with you on that. If you already have a 360 for multiplatform games, then the PS3 is lacking in games even more than the Wii. Either way, I'm happy to own all 3 for the games they do have.

Yeah it was awesome, very funny EP, I'm going to Cinematic Titanic tomorrow night, might stay for the meet and greet with Joel, Trace, Mary-Jo, TV's Frank etc.
170 360 games? Holy shit.
Yessir, I do buy a lot of games.
45 PS3 games is more surprising to me than 170 360 games.
I made a mistake, it's 45 DS games. I have
46
PS3 games.

I don't know how it's surprising though, it's just what happens when your multiplat purchases curve the other way for the most part.

EDIT:
Did a quick breakdown.

PS3
22 exclusive
24 multi

360
29 console exclusive
3 multi

Other way around for me, 45 games for the PS3's pretty easy, but 170 games? God damn, for any system that's a huge amount.

I've got 16 PS3 games and 21 Xbox 360 games along with 39 PSN games, 29 XBLA games, and 2 XBL community games. I've also got 2 games for the Wii, 13 games for the DS, and 24 games for the PSP.

I realized that I probably have a few more XBLA games that I've deleted to save space once I beat them. It's at least two or three games to add to the XBLA count.
where the fuck do you guys put all these games? My little shelf is crowded with only 15-20 games per system
More than one shelf. ;)

Actually, all my games could fit on one 6 foot tall bookshelf, but I spread them out to diffent shelves around the room.

I have 2 bookshelves for my 360 games, maybe I'll post a pick later.

Raiden Fighters Aces, inFamous, Killzone 2, MGS4, Uncharted.

Thats it.

EDIT: Chrono Trigger, GTA:CW, and Metal Slug 7 for DS. I'm not sure how many DD games I have, but I think its well over 100.

EDIT #2: Forgot I had Valkyria Chronicles and Singstar.

I forgot I owned Killzone. That makes four.

Killzone 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3, Naruto: UNS, Lost Odyssey, No More Heroes.
