Prototype is weird. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'll probably try some more tomorrow.
It took a bit for it to click with me. Once you get some decent movement upgrades and some of your powers, it'll get much better.

I think you have to be a UFC fan to really get into it, but I also got tired of it pretty quickly. Muay Thai clinches are almost unstoppable.

Yeah, I'm a huge MMA fan, and I agree lol. The whip and head-knee is badass. It also doesn't hurt that I don't really care enough to learn the grapple system completely. I have the basic jist of it but I'm not great at it.

It's a cool game though... just glad I rented instead of bought.

I'm about 8 hours in on Lost Odyssey and so far I have mixed feelings. I one hand the story and presentation are amazing. I really like the text memories.

On the other hand, its all wrapped in this draconian JRPG gameplay. (Yeah I know, blasphemous!)
Damn, I'm way too late. 20 PS3 games (13 exclusive,) 9 360 games (7 exclusive,) 8 Wii games.
Late to that topic as well. I can't remember off hand the exact amount of games I have for each system , but since I have them all stored in boxes and know about how many fit in each box I can estimate:
:wii:40 (doesn't count WiiWare or VC games)
:gc:80
:360:70 (doesn't count XBLA games)
:xbox:120
:ps3:10
:ps2:230
:psp:50
:ds:75

I have too many games (but I love playing/collecting them) , especially since I haven't even beaten like 10% of them. On the plus side , I've been very strict with myself about adding anything else to my collection unless it's a really good deal , or until I beat some of the games I already have.

I've also been going through what I have and trying to get rid of games that no longer want , or probably shouldn't have bought in the first place.
I kind of mentally picture everyone here as being in their mid twenties.
First cutscene was like "shit. cool."
Then the first section of gameplay was like "wait. what?"
It seems like one of the games where production values dropped a bit because of the scope of the sandbox gameplay they were attempting to create.
Gameplay sort of reminds me of crackdown. And for that I like it.
I also picture everyone except TMK white.

Including ReRo.
Not surprising considering the college you're going to you claimed had more minorities than your high school, and that college had like 1% non-whites...

Played Prototype. I don't like it. Infamous is definitely the better game BY FAR.

There has been one african-american student in my high school for the last two years, we had three others but they all graduated before me. That's four in four years.
ReRo is the whitest man on the planet.

I'm sorry but I had to lol since I'm here reading this in Puerto Rico with a large portion of my Puerto Rican side of family :)

*is Native-American/Mexican*

Didn't play any FFVII yesterday, since I wasn't in the chocobo raising mood. Instead, I decided to give Breath of Fire IV a go. It's been years since I played it, and I never beat the game, so I'm hoping to rectify that.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: best RPG on the PlayStation.

Goddamn, now I want to play it again.

I remember in my first playthrough, I found all of the dragon forms, and I was able to control the "berserk dragon," or whatever that form was. I felt super  when one of my friends who sunk hours upon hours into it didn't know you could do it.

I get that too. I'm half black and people always assume I'm all white.

BoF4 was my favorite in the series.

I'm 18, japanese, female, 32DD, and single.

My biggest turn-ons: guys who know a lot about video games and anime, guys who are really nice and will protect me from danger, guys with schoolgirl fetishes ^____^;;;

My biggest turn-offs: jocks with too much testosterone, people with jobs who live away from home, mean guys.
on topic-- Not Braid though, which I just finished yesterday. That was a damn fun game. Didn't pay much attention to the story, but every puzzle in that game was fucking awesome. Other game devs should pay Jonathan Blow for puzzle ideas.
Super agreed.
I felt really proud of myself after solving some of those.

Also, how you doin'?

Urgh, there's no way to map the controls so that Triangle accesses the menu on BoFIV. That's gonna be annoying for a little bit, but whatever.

I forgot how cool Fou-Lu is, too.

One thing that slightly annoys me about Prototype is that pressing "select" brings up the Web of Intrigue menu... I keep pressing thinking the map will put up. And some of the later bosses could have been made a little easier. I spent like a half hour last night fighting a boss that could have been easily cut in half....
I think I want to throw Dead Rising out the window.
Throw it at me. I had alot of good memories with that game other than small text and time restraints.

damn.... I'm getting a new laptop (price is not an issue) from BB tomorrow out of randomness of goodwill >_< I am undecided if I should get a Vaio, Mac, or something else... mainly for video editing and stuff like adobe programs... anyone have suggestions? I'm very stupid when it comes to hardware and I know some of you here are pros.

I'm kinda leaning to a Windows based thing so I can play SFIV at college on free time, but I am also leaning to mac since I have no macs at my house, and my school is very mac heavy...

Unibody Macbook Pro 17 inch, dummy.
I think you should.

Go for it. It'll be more fun than actually playing it.
God. Would you guys know a good game if it bit you in the ass? I'm thinking no.

Strangely, the person that is allowing me to get a laptop is telling me to not get an HP, and I'm typing this on their HP that randomly freezes and does random shit... >_<

i'm looking at probably these... since it's mainly going to be because i'm stuck with whatever BB has or even tiger direct since it sounds like those are the places I'm limited to where I can get them...

Get the damn Macbook, then install windows on it. You can play PC games, and you get OSX. Win/win
