So why do you want the UK version then?

Oh I see... of MGS4, not KZ2. What's the difference between US and EU version of MGS4?

Sorry for the reading error.

UK cover is the best:

Japan's is nice too:

North America's is the gayest garbage:

While I like the UK MGS4 cover art, I think the North American one is more striking, showing Snake's age through photo realistic detail.

Old Snake's resemblance to Lee Van Cleef should not be hidden by an illustration.

I finally got into Prototype. It got really fun when I got my powers decently upgraded. It's really short though, according to the stats page I've completed 13 of 31 missions in under 3 hours. :/

We're not counting DVD-R's, then?

No offense, we all know how you get your games.

That's a dumb question. You really think my collection would be so small if I were including DVD+Rs?

Call me old-fashioned, but I like having to put some actual effort into getting a game I want. You know, running around to get to Best Buy for a $5 sale, or cutting coupons to get a new game for

It is the community. I stay for the people and the discussions; the majority of this site has turned into garbage since the CAGcast.

I actually just racked my brain to figure out how I found CAG, and I think it must have been when Live Search Club first launched and I was looking for bots and shit.

I haven't listened in a while. It's harder to keep up with podcasts now that i'm working and can't listen to them most of the time at work.

And seriously, no offense zew. I don't approve of it, and you make me jealous when I see you playin shit early sometimes but whatever.

Peggle on Itouch for $.99 is great.

It's nice, but not every week. since just about every gaming podcast is the same thing week to week...it's easy to get burned out. Even the E3 round ups on giantbomb, etc., were boring.

piracy just means backlog x10000 for me. When I had that stuff, I barely got through anything because I switched games so much. Though getting stuff early was the shit. Especially FFXII and GTA:SA last gen. Those were out pretty early. and
rock band unplugged, like a month early

Didn't you say prototype was lame and you wouldn't bother with it? :whistle2:s

I find most podcasts in general incredibly boring. It all starts to bleed together after a while, and there is no way I can listen to Cheapy talk about games for an hour and a half.

If people want to pirate shit, that's their perogative; I don't care. Personally, touching on what possum said, it would make me hopelessly apathetic about video games. What would be the point if you just jump from game to game to game without investing yourself?

I listen to far too many podcasts but since I work overnights I have all the time in the world. I rotate between the Gaming and Comedy Podcasts so I never get burnt out on them.

Didn't you say that about the Xbox 360?

I got Prototype as well.

Definitely fun stuff. I took part in the Target buy 2 get 1 free. I also got Red faction since I didn't see anything else to get. I kind of wish Ghostbusters was out so I could have gotten that.

What was the third game?

Apple products are so expensive. I'm so close to buying a macbook pro + 32gb Ipod touch because of the back to school rebates, but I can't justify sinking 2 grand when I already have two towers and a laptop sitting in my room.

agreed...I was listening to GiantBomb today and it was just kinda tiring. When I put into the perspective that it's just cutting into my This American Life and Sound of Young America time, I almost get mad at myself.

and yeah, I'm already jaded, piracy takes some of the joy away. on a similar note, I find the same thing with XBLA and free points. Many games on my list that I played day 1 and never again!

on topic-- Not Braid though, which I just finished yesterday. That was a damn fun game. Didn't pay much attention to the story, but every puzzle in that game was fucking awesome. Other game devs should pay Jonathan Blow for puzzle ideas.

I always almost feel bad that it's looked down on CAG to have a smaller collection. IMHO less is usually stronger than owning 300 titles. fuck you hank.

I condense alot so:

7 (soon to be 6) PS3, 3 Wii (one is wii sports), 3 360, 10 DS, and 15-20 PSP

and that's mostly noting non DD games.

and no, i never dvd/cd-r games.

Yep. Hook, Line and Sinker for Prototype. Gonna be playing this all weekend. Reminds me of how I got hooked on Assassin's Creed, which was a similarily imperfect, but addictive game.

Infamous that I'm going to be giving to a friend later this month as a gift.

And even though I'm really late, I have 32 PS3 games.

It's funny, because it has done the exact opposite to me. I haven't enjoyed gaming this much since I was in grade school. Hell, by the end of this month I'll have beaten more games in 30 days than I did in the entirety of last year.*

*hypothetically speaking, of course.

17 missions done in Prototype, 3 and half hours of playtime. It's probably good that the game is going to be short. I could see it getting really repetitive if it was more than 12 hours or so long.
