You also better find another way to transfer your saves because current memory sticks won't work on the PSP Go. They're using another type.
um... that's barely a big deal. All you need is a USB Mini cable and you're good.

I just finished Sam and Max: Save the World. I can't remeber the last time I laughed so much playing a game. I'm thinking about picking up season 2 on the PC since there is no set release date for the the XBLA version of the game.

I thought Nintendo announced a virtual console for DSiWare? I can't find anything confirming it. Pretty lame they announced Facebook and not VC for DSi at E3.

Is a Fallout 3 GOTY version confirmed for 360?
The GOTY is coming with expansions right?
If so, I'll trade in my copy of Fallout 3 (a crazy $40 TIV up here) and just buy the GOTY version down the road.

Awesome.
Hopefully I can go out and get rid of Fallout 3 and my remaining DS games tomorrow.
I want to grab Red Faction and Prototype (Infamous is gonna be $30 here on July 30th so I'll grab that then).
Should I buy Red Faction and Prototype, or do they work better as rentals?
Anybody have recommendations on recent 360/PS3/PSP games to pickup?
Red Faction is love/hate. Same with Prototype.
I'd say they are both great rentals.
Well I can get either by trading in 3 DS games (Elite Beat Agents, Advance Wars: Days Of Ruin and Professor Layton), so I wouldn't be paying anything.

I haven't really bought a game in a couple months (that I can recall) so I'm really just looking for something awesome that I've missed in the last while.

After playing Magic on XBLA, I decided to re-install Shandalar. I'm running into problems at the "type your name in" screen though, game keeps on erroring out :(

just got rid of Skate 2 (makes me sad, but I'll get it when it's cheaper), Away, and Monster Hunter F2.

Used the credit to reserve MHF Unite, and had $9 left over so I got a PSN card... I'll probably pick up Flower/S/R when I get Unite, if it is actually there at that time.

Prototype is a great game. Just shallow. So's red faction. Multiplayer Siege mode is some of the best online team multiplayer ever.

I must say. I am pretty offended by EAs fake protest against Dante Inferno. I have no idea what your reaction would be but as a christian I find it to be insulting.

If you don't know about this story. EA had "protesters" outside of E3 protesting their upcoming game Dantes Inferno. The protesters were portrayed as christian fanatics with anti EA signs and also were given many oppurtunities for interviews. EA did not tell anyone that they were fake and thus everyone at E3 assumed they were just a bunch of fanatics. A quick article about it a 1up. http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3174647

I know that this is a little late but I just now heard of this, I will refuse to buy this game now. I know that some of you will laugh at that and have your own opinions about it. I just hope you will respect my opinions even though yours may be different. thanks.
This is in no way a reliable source at all. All sources for this story trace back to Kombo, who got their word from some low-level Nintendo rep. No actual announcement was made in Japan.
I did a quick search but months ago more than just kombo confirmed nintendo's info on GB and GBA games coming to DSi.

Heh, I was at E3 and I thought it was for real. And thought it was pretty insane, but it worked - the first thing I did was check out Dantes Inferno (game looks amazing btw)...

@Mike: This upsets you? But protesting at a dead Soldiers funerals is fine and dandy? What I'm saying is, "Christians" have protested much more ridiculous things in the past. No need to be sensitive to poking fun at that reality.

I have a feeling that by time the game comes out, real people will be really protesting it, so I'm not sure how you can be offended.

All the stories I saw just linked back to Kombo.

More like Beast Light (Milwaukee's Best Light). It's pretty much all I drink/drank since I was a freshman in college.

Does SF2HD offer anything over SFIV? I already have IV but haven't really gotten too into it, mostly because of the huge time-sink required to get decent at it.

I dont remember ever saying that protesting at a dead soldiers funeral is fine and dandy. The people who do that are a fanatical group who do not represent the christian community.

It is basic stereotyping you are suggesting there. Just because some people do it, does not mean all do it. I was offended by the EA stunt because its just perpetuates the stereotype that some people have that christians are a fanatic group trying to shove their beliefs down your throat which is far from the truth.

Lets change the situation and say it was some PR stunt that promotes stereotypes of a certain race. I can not see the difference between how that would be insulting and how this isn't. Just because it is based on a religion that you may not agree with does not make it right.

I have a feeling that by time the game comes out, real people will be really protesting it, so I'm not sure how you can be offended.

Just because you have a feeling it is going to happen does not mean it will or that it has. It offends me because it encourages narrow minded thinking by supporting a skewed view on christians. It is like saying all muslims are terrorists, etc. I hope this better explains why this had upset me. Thanks

That EA protest really wasn't the best idea for them. Yeah, it's all just a joke, but I can see a lot of people taking that the wrong way and that hurting their sales a lot more than helping it.

It just seems kinda pointless? Like is that really going to sell anyone on the game by EA going "hur hur, look at them christians they sure like to get upset about things" which is all that the fake protest really was.

I actually liked the response from that one catholic blogger that said maybe they should spend their time making their game more than a blatant god of war clone rather than staging fake protests. Because the theme looks interesting to me, but the gameplay does not.

Being offended is just weakness in your faith, dude. If you search your scripture, you'll find that Christ never took offense at what others did to him, only at other's actions against God himself. EA may have attacked Christians in their tasteless promotion, but I do not see this as an attack against God. Offenses lie in our mind, not in the words and actions of others. No one can insult you or hurt you verbally unless you allow it to happen. There is a unique kind of freedom that comes from deciding not to allow the hurtful words and mean actions of others to control us. Simply by you coming here and saying "I'm offended!" you have fallen under EA's control. You are doing exactly what it is that EA wants you to do, and that is talk about their game and give it publicity, wheter it is negative, positive, or neutral.

I think it's funny personally.

I'm not lumping all Christians into one group that protests about everything, what I do is include people who get offended easily into one group. This group consists of many races, religions, etc. I call this group the "get the fuck over it" group.

I personally just get annoyed when people get offended over dumb things. Life goes on.

And I'm usually a fan of dry as a bone, dead-pan comedy. :(

Also you're right in that VC for DSi has not been announced. Just a couple of people with friends say it's "real".
I'm not getting excited until it's official.

Isn't being offended by EA making fun of the stereotype confirm the stereotype that Christians are so easy to offend? They're not really making fun of all Christians, just the fanatics that do those kinds of protests.

The protest was so obvious that it wasn't real because most every sign there had the EA logo drawn on it, whereas normal protesters wouldn't bother with such details.

I don't think it is like that, but OK.

My 360 controller lights are flashing a lot, but the screen says I still have half my battery left. What's the deal?
Mine always start flashing at around half.
Same here, nothing to worry about.
Also, I'll be watching Dr.Strangelove with my dad for fathers day.
Good times ahead!

Also: Ninja Blade (sealed) and Silent Hill worth $40 shipped? I've been wanting to play both for a while.
Silent Hill scared the hell out of me. Worth $40 by itself.
Good to know. Since everyone here still sells it for $45, I think its a hot deal, since I was highly amused by the Ninja Blade demo.
