Prototype is absolutely worth a rent, and maybe worth a buy.

Little Big Planet is not just a little bit crappy. But that's just me. I thought it controlled poorly.
 
Dallow, gaming is hugely improved on the 3Gs.

Katamari still slows down a little (I was playing on the 'Park' level) but it ran significantly better.

Peggle loaded extremely fast. Also, the 'fever' part actually ran smoothly.

The Terminator demo ran really fast too. Before, it chugged along.
 
I wonder how it compares to the touch, since that's always had a bit more ram and better processor. Mine runs games well. It does chug a bit on the peggle extreme fever, but it's only for a moment.

Did I forget to mention how fucking awesome Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Echoes of Time is, despite the awful, awful title? (On DS, that is. The Wii one is a straight up port of the DS game, but you can use it to play multiplayer with DS owners)

I don't know what it is but I've been hooked on it all week. It's like Zelda dungeons with Diablo addicitve loot gathering, and no hint of shitty typical japanese design decisions. The story is simple and to the point, the writing is concise and has a bit of charm and wittiness to it.. I'm really surprised.

I saw crystal chronicles in the title and glossed over it, but it's a fucking awesome DS game. 1up gave it an A+ and they just might be right.

Tiger 10 Wii is pretty good. The 1to1 WiiMotion /= correct golf swing, but as long as you're ok with that, it'll be enjoyable. I'll bring it over to our Father's Day potluck this weekend and see what my other golf-playing relatives think.

Haha - I really don't take LBP criticism sensitively. I'm probably the most burnt out of the game than anyone else I know.

Any of you guys hit up the GS B2G1? I picked up RE5, Tomb Raider:Underworld & PoP. I might take them back and get some other games game that are more equal in price. I'm going to give them a little bit of play time and see what I think of them.

Decided to get rid of Away... it's a good idea, but it's a one trick pony.

Also decided to get rid of Skate 2 since I realize I'm not playing it as much as I expected.

And lastly am getting rid of Monster Hunter Freedom 2 because I'm picking up Unite this wed !!!!

back into the addiction!

CTR seems pretty likely , Tomba not so much. I would love to see a more proper port/remake of it where you can actually get 100% completion though.

I didn't think I'd be that interested in it , but based on the good word of mouth for Tiger Woods 2010 for the wii , I'm actually considering getting it (close to launch). OTOH I don't really want to spend $50/$60 on it. I don't think I've ever paid full price for a sports game before , be it traditional sports , extreme sports , wrestling , or anything else.

I also started rewatching breaking bad season 1, fucking awesome show.

I was also looking at my 360 games to get amazon wish list and damn it, im so far behind.

Just got that today at Gamestop, almost got hooked into it when I was testing the disc. Too bad I have other games going right now. I'll make room for it soon though, can't remember the last time I got hooked so quick by an RPG.
 
Just ordered MLB 2K9 for $39.99, free tax and shipping from Newegg. Yay.

My brother just got back from seeing Pablo Francisco and Gabriel Iglesias free at Central Park. He said Pablo Francisco sucked and Iglesias was awesome.
 
I'll probably be gearing up for getting rid of my PSP as soon as september rolls around. Genna get me some monees for a 16 gig mini mem stick and the Go... and hopefully have most of my UMDs digital.
 
No offense ReRo but ditching your UMDs and paying more for a PSP Go is a worse decision than all the years of Nintendo's half step and color upgrades to their portables. At least DSi plays games I bought for the system previously.

If Sony does come through and lets me put all my current PSP games on the Go, then I might be on board. I do need to actually hold it first to see how comfortable it is. Hopefully the nub is a little more comfortable to use, I hate where it is on the current PSP.
 
16gb's doesn't seem like enough. Patapon 2 is about 700mb. Seems like it would suck having to delete a game every time you want to get a new game (once you fill up the space). I'm stuck with a gig now - want to get the 4gig but they are still expensive!
 
Once I get through this wedding today I'll have lots of free time once more. My plan of action is beating Infamous, checking out LBP, and then opening up Red Faction.

Agreed - but glad I've done the Amazon "Trade in $75 and get a bonus $75 towards a system" promotion, which practically makes the two equal in price and I got rid of a bunch of games.

Best deal, really, as the promotion is basically a "Get a 100% additional credit" on what you trade-in assuming you hit the $75 mark.
 
You also better find another way to transfer your saves because current memory sticks won't work on the PSP Go. They're using another type.

Poor guy needs a buddy.
We're getting a cat named Pepi and he's 7 years old.
He's orange.

Till about 3/4 of the way through the game.
 
Supposedly my uncle is going to get me another job like the last 2 summers, hopefully.

At the very least I have until the 29th of the month to do nothing. I have a final Wednesday though and Prom is Thursday.
