Nice, and honestly, I'd just get the 720p set at that size/price. Especially for $200 less.
I didn't even really sequence break it. I also spent about 10 minutes at one place because it confused me. I also kept switching the difficulties quite a bit, and while the game time doesn't advance on the map it does while paused. So I probably wasted another 15 minutes just sitting at the menu (lunch). It would've been 11% if I didn't pick up that one Health Container. But it did help.
I'm going to be deleting all of my friends off of my Xbox Live account and redoing it (I have like 20-30 people I have no idea who they are). So, if I send any of you an invite (XBL: DarknessBearx) please accept! Har har.

I love it, but am terrible it.
Laaaaame, fired up some Fear 2, PS3 shut off, now it goes Green -> Yellow -> Red Blinking light X_X
Launch PS3 60GB. !
What really sucks for you here is that you're probably far out of warranty. My 60gb console died 10 months into it's lifespan, so I at least got Sony to cover the replacement of the BR drive.
Damn, I know how that moment feels. Here's to a quick and speedy repair!
Haha, I'll probably go the heatgun route just to back up everything and get some more playtime, but I find it ironic that my 60GB craps out on me just a couple days before the slim PS3 release day. Sony played me!
That sucks.. say goodbye PS2 BC..
Yea...now I'll have to bust out my slim PS2 again. There is no way to get my PS2 saves from my HDD back to a Memory Card is there?

Memory card adapater.
I always assumed that was just a one-way process. Well at least I still kept that around
It was at first. One of the firmware updates changed that.

Oh cool, now if I can get through the reflow fix without a hitch, all that's left is to back everything up and pick up a slim PS3.
The timing couldn't be weirder (or in my state, better :lol
At least I have a reason to break out my PS2, it's just been sitting on a shelf for the longest. Now I'll be playing some beatmania

I have the 720p model and it's wonderful. I'm extremely happy with it. No lag, great blacks, great color.
My only complaint, and apparently this is something kinda standard now, is that there's no RCA audio out--only digital. So I'd have to buy a digital to RCA adapter to hook up my non-digital speakers. Or hook the speakers straight to my 360 and not have volume control (no thanks.)
I really like the Panasonic Plasma TVs, they look awesome.
Does anybody else get hand cramps after playing 360 for a while (CoD 4 specifically)? I play PS2, SNES, Gamecube and DS all the time and I never get such cramps.

My hand cramps on the DS3, but not really with the 360 controller (granted I haven't played COD on the 360). Trials HD is an exception to that, but thats based more on the nature of the game, not the controller.
I just found a huge problem with the computer I built for my brother. When you are playing a game (and only when your playing a game) the computer uses a built in mobo speaker to play music, as well as through your speakers. updated all my drivers etc, no luck. .
You should calibrate your TV first with something like Avia to start jer.
I used the somewhat meager one in the Halo 3 bonus disc, it didn't really require much tweaking. I hear on plasmas to lengthen the life of the screen it's best to set the contrast as low as you're comfortable with. I've got mine at 40 now.
