I have a world history test tomorrow and I'm fucking nervous. I know the shit, but I'm still scared.

And it's right after the fucking psat. I'll be so fried.

I have a 95 in the class though. The test goes down 3 times, but I think I can make like an 80 and still be alright.

I should be studying, but i'm watching dead space videos instead.

What area of history are you currently studying?

It's just a basic world history class. Honors.

Right now we're doing prehistory and ancient times.

The test is mainly multiple choice. It's the fill in the blank that scares me.

Making new boards sucks, because the only easy way to do it is through freewebs and the last time I was there the boards blew.

I don't see anything wrong with requesting a trade cancel if the shipper hasn't sent it and accepts the cancel, but I dunno how goozex will treat it.

Hmm. Well, when in doubt, fluff. I don't know the kind of teacher you have, but my history teachers in High School all kept to the policy "If you can make me laugh, I'll give you half credit". Good stuff.

And why are we scheming for our own message board? Things haven't gotten that bad yet.

I think I can do alright. I just get worked up over stupid shit.

I asked that guy if he cared if I canceled. HOpe he doesn't.

I've finished my two papers and two power points to accompany said papers. Now it is time to talk to the lady for a bit, then it's totally time for Saints Row 2. Oh I can't wait...

I like sci fi, anything dealing with a dystopia, and in general anything good, regardless of genre.

I'm going to sell a shit load of books to hastings and see if I have enough to buy dead space with it. I was gonna give them to my mom for her class, but half those little fuckers are going to end up dropping out anyways.

FINALLY found a mayflash for under 40. 36 after cashback, 52 out of pocket. I'll order tomorrow, I only have like 45 in paypal right now.

Perfect timing. Waiting for 2.50, I get an email saying I'm in the COD:WoW beta. So now I gotta download that before getting the PS3 Firmware.

Also, CAG Burnout night was really fun despite the massive amounts of microphone feedback from everyone but ManaKnight.
 
I was watching Scare Tactics and painting my Warhammer stuff, when something about Dead Space came on. It seems like a cool game, but not a $60 game for me.

Okay I mean it this time, I'm firing up SR2. I'll be back later.
 
I saw my sister's husband playing SR2 today and looks good but can't afford anything else this week sadly. Probably going to go play The Witcher now.
 
Same here and the week of Gears 2 is pushing it with Resisitance 2 coming out the same day along with Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm and VC. Only getting Resistance 2 and Gears 2 probably though and wait for price drops on the other two.

Today, Microsoft announced that Gears of War 2 has surpassed the original Gears' pre-order numbers and also informed us that it's "poised to become the must-have video game this holiday season." Can't argue that.

Also as part of the press release, we're informed of all their Gears 2 launch plans and offers including a gold Lancer unlock with the limited edition, gold Hammerburst unlock given out at all 20,000 midnight launches, gameplay tips from the Epic team and a special Game with Fame weekend. Not just that, but Microsoft also confirmed that they'll be releasing a Flashback Map Pack (featuring five remade Gears maps) on launch day, which will be a free download with redemption code found in new copies of Gears 2. Bring on November 7th!

Dead Space looks cool. I wish I had a better setup to play it though. I'm in the basement with an old HDTV that has a 4 inch dark spot on the bottom, no surround sound, horrible seating (I'm sitting on an outside swinging bench with a pillow tied to it), and it is freezing because the floors are concrete with no carpet. Upstairs there is a 50" 1080p set, 7.1, and a couch mocking me. Therefore, I'm going to skip it. If my parents go away or something for a weekend and I don't have to work much I'll rent it and get my fix then.

I have a similar situation with my computer being in the kitchen so I had the same problem with BioShock. The experience just isn't the same and I couldn't get into it.
 
You could pick up a cheap 5.1 surround sound system for your basement. I have a Logitech one that I used for my TV for awhile before I got something a little better. It's about $80 at Wal-Mart if you can find it.
 
Yeah, no doubt. For a room like that, you can get a pretty good cheap set. I got a Pioneer set, the one made for the 360 for under $100 shipped and it does everything and more I want out of a cheapo set. 5.1 and it does the uncompressed audio that the PS3/Blu uses.
