Odds are, I won't. Only way I will is if they have for some ungodly reason a used one at hastings come tuesday at teh fallout 3 launch, cause it's 30 percent off everything from 10 to midnight. Not sure what they sell them for, but the TIV is 200 bucks so I'm guessing about 230, which would make it 161 bucks. I figure that's worth it for the games coming up, since my sisters won't let me use theirs.

Yay, TWEWY is here! I'm going to play it while I go take a shit.

Im at the 10 am showing of high school musical 3 and there are a bunch of hot moms here... WTF

manly morning....

Tekken 6 is here too :)

Just a lazy Saturday, nothing to do. So I'm going to clean my room and then game all day. That sounds like a good day. ;)

If anyone wants to play some SCIV PS3 or VF5 for 360, slim chance on the latter, then I'll play anytime today. I haven't been able to play on GGPO because my router hates me.

I didn't play the R2 beta last night. I was playing SCIV with some friends and just generally bullshitting as usual. So I might hop on that later.

Dear Game Developers:

For fuck's sake, STOP putting scenarios in games where you have to defend someone/something

We're tired of escort missions/protect the _____ scenes...

:bomb:

Did some running around this morning. Deposited some money, picked up a mighty mugg for Ahadi (hopefully he got me one I'm looking for too!) then went to gamestop and picked up Kirby Canvas Curse, Etrian Odyssey, and Mega Man ZX. Brings my DS total to 41. Arcade stick and Street Fighter Anniversary getting here on monday!

the npc thing in far cry isn't very important. The game is so good though. I was sneaking into this fort to kill a king at 3 am while it was raining, and there's all these dudes searching through the fields around his fort and I'm sneaking around offing them with a silenced pistol.. Followed by a huge shootout in the fort after killing the king.

Great game, full of great experiences.

It took me 3 tries to do that mission and they were different every time.

Hey GGT! Picked up the new Castlevania this morning and I've played it about an hour or so. Good stuff, and better than PoR so far.

I also finally started up Assassin's Creed. Just did the tutorial and not much else. Looks pretty.

Far Cry 2 sounds great. How is the gun play? I like games that make it feel like you are using powerful weapons, not weak shit.

Basically, if I fire a shotgun into a dude, I want it to look and feel like that's what's happening, from sound to graphics to physics.
Can you switch decks mid battle in TWEWY? I'm so confused on the battle system. Cant' even figure out how to move.
Nope. And don't worry, you'll get the hang of it. Just keep fighting and follow the light puck.

DDR Supernova 2 is good stuff, at least as good as the first Supernova.

In the mood for a Nippon Ichi SRPG grindfest, and Soul Nomad and Disgaea DS are both sittin' in my backlog, but I've got Okami to play next and Animal Crack's coming out next month. Hmm...

WTF LBP. I pick it up yesterday (yay!) but trying to redeem my code is fail. The thing says go to http://us.playstation.com/LBPCostume/ but that site doesn't exist. I try to redeem the promo code on the slip and it wont work. Anyone else deal with this?

Oh yeah. fuck the crab boss in OoE. This game is much harder than DoS.

The crab is probably the hardest boss I've beaten so far in OOE.

Basically what I did was hide in the middle left corner and spam double axes for 20 minutes. Just make sure you know when he's going to hit you with his legs or with the diagonal crab slash.

The codes aren't redeemable yet.

Animal crack is one of teh big reasons I want a wii. I just know it wouldn't be the smartest thing considering I already had one I barely played.

I was playing some Fable 2 today and noticed a villager I killed for a mission respawned. And he is still in love with me.

I was at Target earlier today and saw that Golden Axe is already on clearance. That's both hilarious and sad. If it hits $20 or less I'll probably grab it out of curiosity. I know it's supposed to be terrible, but wow.

I've completely neglected fable today. Partly because I can't find my batteries, but mainly because TWEWY is amazing. I'm only on day 3, because I just keep grinding. The combat is sooooo fun. I'm trying to get all the pins I have so far mastered before I move on to the main goal of today.

So I was out and about today, just finding some good deals, and it's probably universal knowledge, but I found 3 Warhawk bundles at target for $30. That's a sick deal. Other than that, just the average $20/$30 regulars.

Oh and I got my Halloween costume today. $80 costume for free. Will post pics soon

Other than that, I've got a quiet night in with the lady tonight. Should be good
How is Ninja Gaiden Sigma? I'm tempted to get it in the Wal-mart deal.
I like it. I haven't beaten it, but it is fun. An actual challenge compared to most games.
That dreamcast I want but need teh monies for.

Holding off temporarily on Guitar Hero. need to seem some reviews.
The Zune is tempting, but I don't know if I need it. Ya got any stuff not listed on the trade list?

And so the world knows, Reese's Klondike bars are amazing.

Uh, civ rev DS, a fucked up Razr 2, a PS1, and that's about it.

And a lime green gba sp. lol
Is TWEWY like really short or some shit? I'm on day 4, and it looks like there is only 7 days......

Puma: No.

Beat Condemned 2. However, pretty sure I busted the right stick on one of my controllers.

Hooray, probs can't pick up Fallout until Friday.

First day of Best Buy training = I am want to cry.
Tomorrow should be better, its in the store and we might actually DO something.
The fact that I'm making over $150 this weekend doesn't hurt either.

I thought about working at Best Buy once. I decided against it because my soul dies a little every time I go into a Best Buy. Just knowing people who've worked there and the stories they tell is enough to make me never want to work there ever.

Is there any way to fix my right thumbstick on the the 360 controller? It, like, the ball beneath it is loose so it just falanges everywhere.

Is that the same RAZR that went into the toilet?

Anyone else here play and beat Fable II? I still can't get over it. Such a good game. I think it tops MGS4 for me. I really didn't expect it to be anything great. Tomorrow I am going to start a new character that is pure evil.
I just pranked called a shit load of places with some friends. Apparently Gamestop doesn't like it when you call for battletoads.
what the hell? were you hanging out with manthing?

just returned with GH:WT. Initial impressions... the drums are really unstable, but it's not really noticable when playing. They feel a lot better for drumming though.

I need detailed drum impressions lol.

Are the cymbals dropping notes much? Do you have to hit them hard? Do you think they'll break? Have you played with the RB2 drums? If so, which is better, in your opinion? Is it worth me spending 200 bucks on the set if I have Rock Band 1?]

...wonder if I could talk my parents into the Ion kit for my birthday. They don't usually spend that much on me, but it's worth a shott......

Really? I mean.... Really?! I'm not going to knock a game I haven't played, but is the story telling really that great? The first one's story was pretty meh. And maybe it's just the fanboy in me, but like, they really pushed out an amazing story?

That made me interested in the game. I just put 2 paychecks in the bank!

Maybe if that amazon sale turns out to be good I'll see if I can get it.

It isn't so much the content of the story, but the way it plays out. The connection I got with the game and the characters in it. There was never a moment where I was saying to myself, "ok I get it, let's go. On with it already!" I am not a Fable Fanboy, I never even finished the first. I liked what I played, but it was just ok to me.

I guess I need to find some batteries and play that shit.

TWEWY is addicting. On day 4. I don't understand all the fashion shit, and I always forget to fight on the top screen too.

Top screen likes the company of same sex partners. Ignore it. The fashion, it really helps to read what is tops and what is nots. Also, if you want to sink 100 hours into the game, keep leveling your pins before you move one. I sunk so much time into it.

After a few hours of play, the set is great... except for the orange symbol. It's registers extremely crapily. I'm wondering if it's just my set though... going to hopefully hear from others that have tried it.

Tons of people are having shitty cymbals, which is why I held off tonight.

And yeah kendal, I'm pretty much clearing every single noise in the part of the grid I'm in before I move on. Only have 3 pins mastered though, because I just got that fourth slot. It's 2 1/2 though. I use the fire one, the slash one, the bullet one, and the giant ice pick out of the ground one.

This had definitely got me back into my DS though. I wanna go pick up all the amazing games I've ignored:
Castlevania (Dos first, the rest if I love it)
Pheonix Wright (same as Castlevania)
Clubhouse Games
Planet Puzzle League
FF4
Professor Layton

Any other recommendations? I'll post my collection later, it's pretty small.
