That's probably awesome.

Anyone know if BestBuy has actually started selling LBP yet?

I got excited for a moment...then I looked it up:

They don't even look real... :( I'm sure SCEA will release official ones eventually that will look much nicer. I want a Mr Potato Head Sackboy

I prefer the burlap SackPeople to the knit.

I'm thinking I'm going to attempt to create a GH:WT song tonight. I want to make the Megaman 2 soundtrack, but I'm thinking I should start out with something easier first... just don't know what.

I got Fallout 3 last night!!

Started playing it at 9 this morning!!

It's 1 in the afternoon now!

It's AMAZING!

Game of the Generation has arrived. Bethesda have succeded in (mostly) picking up where Black Isle sadly left off.

Holy crap, Burning Crusade gear is like, exponentially better than the stuff in pre-BC WoW!

Also stayed up too late to buy more property in Fable II. They should've just called it Real Estate: Kill things and Buy Their Homes.

Or House Hunters Fantasy Edition. >_

This makes me ;) because I sold my PS3 and was slightly worried that the PS3 version of Fallout 3 would run better than the 360 one.

From the gamespot review:

"It's a shame, in light of these impressive design elements, that the PlayStation 3 version is shockingly inferior to the others from a technical perspective. Although the Xbox 360 and PC versions display the occasional visual oddity and bland texture, these nitpicks are easy to overlook. Sadly, the jagged edges, washed-out lighting, and slightly diminished draw distance of the PS3 release aren't so easy to dismiss. We also experienced a number of visual bugs on the PS3. Character faces disappeared several times, leaving only eyeballs and hair; limbs on robots went missing; some character models had an odd outline around them as if they were cel-shaded; and the day-to-night transition may cause odd streaks on the screen as you move the camera around. This version doesn't even offer trophies, whereas the Xbox 360 and PC versions offer Xbox Live/Windows Live achievements."

Ah, the satisfying feeling of a good decision made.

I've had a stupid busy day. And it's not going to slow down until like... 10 or 11 tonight. I had three meetings this morning, class, then I have two more meetings, and a social I need to "chaperone" tonight. Though I'm actually pretty excited for the social. Halloween costumes ftw.

Anyone maybe down for some Resistance beta tonight?

Damnit people, stop talking about Fallout 3, you're making me want it more. I told myself I'm holding off on it, as I don't really have time for it now.

I'd might be up for some R2 beta tonight Ahadi. Have to see how htings are going later.

Too bad about Fallout on PS3. Oddly enough, I went with the 360 version too--but mainly because I have more pending PS3 games right now, and I wanted to balance out the amount of stuff that gets installed on the HDD. Didn't know Bethesda would have such a hard time with PS3 considering they got Oblivion to run on it without much incident.

I'm putting this in the general gaming as a topic but you guys NEED to read this GAF thread. I have been laughing my ass off at this random war game generator and the absurd titles and boxart it spits out.

Seriously. Don't read that thread if you're at work or can't afford to be laughing so hard it hurts.
If only it had online co-op!
This, would have made the game much better.

Well I'll be picking up Fallout 3 in about an hour, hearing good things so far.

Amazon has my Fallout and LBP pre-orders finally in the shipping queue. I guess I will know what y'all are talking about late next week.
You guys better blow through F3 real fast. Gears is in less than 2 weeks. ;)
Meh, I'll be waiting for my co-op buddy to get Gears 2. Single player Gears was no fun.

I think we'll be co-oping Saints Row 2 first TBH.

yeah I'm hoping to play a lot of Fallout 3.. off to do that now, after dishes and tidying up the living room.

Nah...it wasn't for me. The questions are great, love that there's tons of them but the gameplay is very repetitive...same modes in the same order every time. If it had the variety of Scene It? I would have kept it.

This is what I got.
Did you play it by yourself or did you have friends playing with you?
I played it with family...it was fun at first, but not being able to adjust the length of the game or make the game types random just killed it for me after a few playthroughs.

Ah, okay. I can understand how the same modes can turn some off.

Nice one hank!! some of those in the GAF thread had me in tears this afternoon. That thing is hilarious.

I have Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Fable 2, Dead Space, and Castlevania: OoE now. And Gears 2 next week, and Left 4 Dead the week after that.

It'll be July by the time I finish all these. Fallout 3 is looking like a LONG, LONG game, the way I play games.
Selling Buzz Quiz TV on Ebay if anyone is interested...$50 BIN...$37.50 after Live Cashback.
I don't deal with feebay. Selling/trading it on cag?

Ratchet Future + $10 sounds fair to me...;)

Gaming wise: I need to stop being a pussy and try to finish the club

Thank God for the GameStop B2G1 and Blockbuster's slow to update trade values.

I got all those games with credit I originally was just going to use to pay for Fallout, Far Cry, and Gears. Plus a few other things that got sent off to Amazon for cash monies.

Applying to college!

I would get Fable 2 if it weren't broked. I would get Fallout 3 if it wasn't the type of game I could play until next November.

I think Gears 2 and Nuts & Bolts are my only first day purchases.

I want soooo many games right now it's ridiculous. But yeah I'll probably survive with Madden and NHL until Gears comes out. And I'll get Banjo Threeie because of the preorder voucher for the original on XBLA. Otherwise I'll use money from selling shit to get other games I want.

I'll be getting R2 next week, and if money permits Valkyria Chronicles. That game looks to be amazing.

Only other purchases that month are Sonic Unleashed and maybe Mirrors Edge if I have the money.

I played a couple hours of Fallout 3. It is fun. It didn't put me to sleep or bore me. Something the last Bethesda game I played did. Good stuff. Kind of slow so far, but it should pick up soon.

What? Broke? How? This confuses me. Is it broke because it is good?

The save deleting coop bug? The "I fucked up this quest and I can't finish the game" bug? There were quite a few.

Developers say they have a fix ready too, don't know if it was put up yet though...
